The UN Treaty on Children’s Rights seems to be designed to destroy parental rights.
According to Michael Farris, chairman/lawyer of HSLDA, the Home School Legal Defense Association, the Obama administration may seal our fate by accepting this treaty, giving more rights to children than to parents. When all parental decisions are subject to being reviewed by the state, we may be prevented from homeschooling, training our children in our religion of choice, or discipline. I can already imagine kids (especially teenagers) using this treaty to complain about being grounded or otherwise disciplined.
HSLDA is a Christian homeschooling organization.
HSLDA won a place in my heart for pursuing limitations on CPS investigators’ actions, forcing them to honor our 4th Amendment rights. HSLDA also recommends and pursues independent homeschooling rights which are vital to the well-being of the homeschooling movement, because independent homeschooling allows children to learn in freedom rather than be molded into conformity by state government school laws. Conformity destroys initiative, innovation, and imagination.
This treaty has already been accepted by every country in the UN except the United States and Somalia.

The loss of my child for bogus reasons, and zero truth in ANY of it…….I just can’t for the life of me understand why this is still an issue….anywhere! In Oregon even the non accused parent is being asked to summit to things they shouldn’t have to just to see then if the judge finds you sootabale for your child I just don’t understand
Hi name Jessica, im from Ventura County,…I was a victim mistreating of rap and I reported it to my local authorities and they didn’t do anything about it.angry that I felt that I was not treated properly by the office is not respond to my call one of the office was a friend to the guy the who rap…so the next day put him on blast on Facebook….things out of anger and therefore he told the cop that I threatened him….saying that I said that I was in the killing therefore I never said that they never came out of my mouth. so later on that day the cops came to my house and ask me about my rap…before that I can get into any details he set me off and asked me if I did anything before I have my contact anyone…like the person that rap me…I told him yes…therefore he change the subject on the person that harm me…and was mad at me because I contact him saying I did all the stuff when therefore I never said anything to him….to make a long story short he said that I play in his life so therefore I got arrested….I was booked in and when I went to court I got busted for annoying phone calls.do to my arrestofficer called CPS on me therefore I don’t know what reason or why there’s more to the story but I want you guys to please contact me as soon as possible.I believe that I was mistreated and misled in every way and lied about.I took it a trial and therefore a they dropped all the other charges but now they’re getting me for being angry I was angry at the time because they took away my kids what parents are going to be like that-??? now they’re saying I might have a mental issue because due to my anger.I’m a nice loving parents I would do anything and everything to protect my kids and therefore for them to lie about what they say…or about my past I did try to bring up I don’t want to get into too much detail hopefully I’m not confusing anyone I’m trying to do this as quickly as I can.so please contact me as soon as possible I appreciate it thank you and God bless every single one of them you guys at find the CPS

I hope everyone can see cps is one of the biggest reason for America going bankrupt. The cost of courts, cps worker’s saleries and the needless burdens they are putting on medicaid, no wonder we are almost in a depression.Judges and lawyers are falling right into these people’s laps, by letting them get by with destroying families

I get tired of states having rights and not parents.
So I guess if this treaty were to ban all of that – I guess that would also mean it going to ban abuse in foster care too. Last time I checked the the federal Gov’s number were pretty high from last year to this one!
This is nothing more than a means to an end. Someone missed the big picture. What the hell is the UN doing presenting articles of parenting to be voted on by all the nations of the world anyway? Who are these sadists? It’s bad enough the States don’t have respect for parental rights – now the UN is sending these animals a clear message. “Who cares about a parent, it’s the kids we want.”
No one has the rights anymore over the states. I’m starting law this Feb in college and when i get thru i’m going to help people fight cause i’m fed up with how this and all others states are doing.
That seems very scary to me. Looks like in today’s world everybody has more rights than anybody else
Ick. What a treaty. I’d like to say here that circumcision info websites have been noting most declarations of children’s rights exclude boys. Then people deny that it descriminates on the basis of gender.
