Do you need to have information removed from this site?
Yesterday I received an email from someone who had been accused of child abuse in Oregon. It was a former foster parent.
I have always placed information from news articles onto this site when it involves abuse of foster children because I want to show that children placed in CPS custody are not necessarily safer than children in their natural homes. In fact I believe it is established that children are worse off in foster homes even when there are serious problems in their natural family homes. (This of course has nothing to do with the rare actual severe physical abuse cases that do require intervention by law enforcement officers.)
The man who wrote to me yesterday was accused of abuse against a foster child four or five years ago. Since then he’s made major changes in his life and now has custody of his children. He objected to having his name on my site and said it was harmful to his children.
I am aware that foster parents are as likely to be falsely accused of abuse as are natural parents–perhaps even moreso because they intentionally (naively, in my opinion, in their desire to ‘do something nice for children‘) place themselves within the scope of child protection authorities and sometimes subject themselves to angry children who have been harmed and corrupted by the system. Sorry to say some of these children do make false accusations because that’s what they’ve been trained to do by evil systemites.
When I received this man’s email I immediately removed his name from this site. I left the article with the case information, but I have no reason to leave criminal accusations against innocent people, and he should not have his name on the internet in this context if he is innocent…. just like 90% of the people on CPS’s evil Central Registry blacklists should not be maligned by being named there, myself included.
If YOU have found your name on this site, and you are innocent of charges that were brought against you, or if you were guilty and have paid your debt to society and now want the entire episode to disappear from the internet, please leave a comment at the bottom of this page. I will respond to all requests asking for removal of information.
This site is now eight fourteen sixteen eighteen years old and I’ve got a ton of information here – most of which I don’t even remember at this point. If you want your information removed, do what this wise man did – SEND ME THE LINK to the information you want removed. That makes it 100 times easier for me to do a rapid information removal.
I also remove comments people made here that they no longer want on the site – but again, I need the links!!!
If you find anything on this site that shouldn’t be posted, you are welcome to contact me about it. Your privacy and well being are important to me.
I strongly encourage parents having CPS troubles to use a fake name or handle when posting here. Also disguise your exact details. This is a public forum.
Where to comment to tell me to remove something – since the comment form on this page may be closed… comment on the newest article. That’s the one most likely to have an open comment form. I’ve had to close most comment forms on this site due to spammer attacks. I have an autistic 8 year old son who resides with his mother at the time when he was taken into foster care immediately for missing school. That is the ONLY reason he was taken. They did NOT ask me his father if I would like to take my WORLD MY SON!!!!! I reside in Saratoga County in upstate New York. My sons got in trouble for writing ‘please help me’ in McDonald’s and everywhere he goes. He tells myself and his mother that his foster parents are mean to him. My son says this at DSS building in front of the case workers and they just say “oh come on they aren’t mean you know it”
I get ONLY TWO 5 MINUTE CALLS A WEEK AND supervised visit in a tiny square room which has myself my son and 3 cps workers in it and I only get 1 hour 1 time a week and indoors!!? When my Autistic son is on the phone with me his foster mother tells him what to say and not?? I and his mother are NOT allowed to bring my life my son pokemon cards or anything?! See my son 4 hours a month and he’s autistic and they treat him like a normal child. I don’t see why he can’t have pokemon cards. it destroys my son and ourselves to tell him we are not allowed to.
His 1st week there he got beat up by 3 boys in school NORMAL KIDS!! My son has texture problems when he eats among others and gets picked on because he can’t eat due to his motor skills etc everytime we see him he has scratches etc.. He had an adult scratch on his neck and they cps said he did it?? I can tell an adults scratch from a child’s. He had nail big person nail marks in his upper arm where your main muscle is the bicep. They were very deep and spread too far apart as well as being to wide to be a child’s. He says they the foster parents are mean every single time we see him.
He draws pictures very sad pictures with sad face and crying and writes “help me mommy help me”. I got a call from him and he was just starting to get ready to cry when I answered my phone I said “what’s wrong buddy you ok?” he said “no daddy I just got scratched by the(it was quiet for 4 seconds or so then) by the phone”? How do you get scratched by a phone? A cell at that. Later he whispered at our visit the his foster mother did it when she ripped the phone out of his hand. He’s not allowed to tell us how he is or anything at all and we as well. He asks when am I coming home mommy and daddy and we can’t afford anything at all that’s when the cps says you know you can’t go home???!
I have court appointed lawyer and I still haven’t met him. Talked 2 times maybe 5 minutes total and he hangs up on me. He said do everything they tell you and sign whatever they want you to sign?? What?? Come to find out County sticks with county especially Saratoga County they get paid no matter what. I had job and own apartment then bam lost it all because of court etc.. My brother owns a huge ranch house with a lot of land he retired from the service and retired from the United States postal service. He’s done foster care before, has money, owns his own home, has money car everything and they won’t let my sons uncle take him??
I’ve heard from law government officials etc. And they all say Saratoga County is the worst and toughest County of all. They are corrupt and biased big big big time. Any hints help or information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you All for your time and consideration.
Did you try talking to the county board of supervisors? You could speak at their meetings for a few minutes and/or try talking to the person elected to oversee everything in your section of the county. Here’s the list: Saratoga County Board of Supervisors
Anyone know if you are and or how to be removed from the registry i was never charged with anything and they denied and closed my case TPR involuntarily i didn’t sign anything the entire case is based on fraud Im in az please help I do not know what to do if my kids are alive or dead they were abused the dept did nothing
Tabatha, here’s the link for laws about Central Registry Expungement. They are different in every state… you’ll see. Look up your own state… and it will explain to you what you can or can’t do.
Thank you for this site. I unfortunately had an “accident” with my child. Automatically assumed I was on drugs, although no drug test was EVER conducted, I did everything that was asked without me, without a blink of an eye. I am a Registered Nurse, my name is forever tarnished because of this. I haven’t been able to find a job, nor support my family. I am furious!!! There were no criminal charges!! I heard some stories of severe neglect, malnutrition, beatings, etc… I can’t even believe I’m being associated with that!! I was never given the option for an appeal, what to do?? I have 4 children, this was the first time anything like this has even happened, no criminal records, no previous CPD cases, nada….Thank you for all your help.
