I am a single mother who was forced to surrender my child over the false allegations, blocked my communications with my child, violated my parental rights to communicated with my child blocked for 15 months. I lost in court by being forced to surrender in order to drop all the charges for child abuse, abandonment and neglection which CPS also violated American Disablities ACT for not providing me a sign language interpreter on 3 occassions before my child was removed out of my home 15 months ago over a false allengation that never happened because a friend isn’t a friend that did not understand the REACTIVE ATTACHMENT DISORDER that have severe attachment where a child targets the mother and phsyically attacked me where that person did not understand the depth of the condition of the Reactive Attachment Disorder and revenged me by reporting CPS and questioned my child at school without my notification and permission. I am trying to find a free attorney to help me fight back and SUE the false accuser to put that person in jail and sue a big lawsuit against the CPS for failed investigation. They took my blessing, joy away of having my child to provide him a loving home with a wonderful family that loves him was brainwashed by that false accuser that my child sees at church and continue brainwashed by CPS with lies that prevented him from communicating with me and family members. NO one will help me NOW!
How is it going? Kinda’ past this point now, but unless they (cps) have a Legitimate judge signed warrant, don’t even bother to talk to them! They will lie,cheat and steal. It’s a corrupt,for profit company
I am from Pennsylvania. CPS in my county has a population of about 143,000. Their annual budget is close to 30 million a year. The surrounding counties dont even come close to this astronomical figure. The corruption is so Deep in Schuylkill County, The crooked child traffickers include but are not limited to: The County Commissioners, [name deleted] (CYS Director)(she also works at the Dollar General in a nearby town?!?) WHY? Each commissioner meeting she requests more and more money and she always gets it. Recently they were audited and decided to hire an outsource company (whom they already have contracts with for other things[conflict of interest]) to ‘handle their finances” Service Access & Management Inc.. aka S.A.M. they are the ones that violated me and my child’s rights when they had allowed for him to go under for surgery without any Informed Consent. That is hardly an ice cube clipped off the iceberg… The agency has single-handedly destroyed my family, among many other families, as well as the sole scumbags responsible for the murder/death of my step-daughter. The System is stealing our taxpayer’s social security money, trafficking our children. They are criminals and everyone involved needs to be held accountable. The Truth Always prevails, and I Pray to God and thank him for everything in my life and pray for justice.
I would like to know just how CPS can take a child away from someone without even notifying them. My daughter was incarcerated at the time my grandson was in CPS care. They asked me to take him but at the time I was in ill health on home care and could not physically do it. Long story short my oldest son took him and in turn CPS tuned on me and my daughter. My son had lied about both of us and wanted nothing to do with us. My daughter had a court appt attorney that would not talk to me or her. Lied to the judge about being in contact with her and would not talk to me at all even though my daughter had written a letter allowing me to stand in for her. Right before she was released CPS sent her documents requesting that she sign her rights away. She didn’t sign but my son went ahead and petitioned for it anyway. Since that time my son who had custody of him was accused of hurting him and once again CPS took custody. He was charged with child abuse and as it stands now neither me or my daughter know where my grandson is. My son won’t give any information nor will he tell us anything except my grandson has been adopted. Please point me in the right direction to bring him back to my daughter.
It is extremely harsh. All of it. There are no words for the hideousness that happens around in a country that we’re supposed to give unconditional love to… just as we give them.
Sometimes the road is tough. It doesn’t come with miracles we expect. But take the miracles we have given our own time to ensure they are ok? Their lives held in the balance of minutes with strangers compared to the years committed by family.

Hello I’m trying to find example letters from a parent to family court trying to win custody of their children back from cps custody. I need some ideas to put together my own letter for family court. I’m not sure how to start it off and how to piece the information I wanna say in order. Any help is much appreciated
What do you mean letter? And whatever u do do not sign anything and if you did rescind all of them by putting an affidavit to rescind your signature.

I’m a grandparent my daughter has all three children taken I’ve hired a lawyer but still they have done nothing but lie and deny us right to any and all things they had us believing the day she gave birth on July 16 this year. they said she be able to be with children and placed them with her husband side of family that can’t wait to get them out of their home the baby is with sister that is living saying she’s only babysitting with the mother in law works which is totally something she had told my daughter she wants to adopt the baby. where the boys are a felon on probation as I type for drugs is one who had my son in law on heroin stole and robed my daughter is watching them and living in the house. which my oldest daughter was denied on placement cause cos case that was closed for absurd allegations.
my daughter is about to have a breakdown and further more I was a ward of the state from age five to seventeen and the state failed me when at eight years old I was molested in foster home I told my dad on a visit and once he took action in telling them I was taken and placed with another family of that person and had to see him every Sunday and was taunted .there was a egg in a nest with a smiling face on it and it said you’d smile to if u just been laid. i always asked what it meant and one nite he showed me what it meant and it haunts me to this day and now more so since the same people that neglected me are back in my life and it’s my grandchildren that I will go to ends of earth to fight these non caring bastards.
my daughter is in a state of being scared to death by them and the lies and double standard way they violate our rights is absurd. im about to go to the news boycott the cps it’s got me wanting to go beyond and over to get them exposed. i will not can not take them and I’m at the point of acting on it. please if we could all come together and stand up against them I will lead the way just need others and help in this matter

There are no real authorities out there to fight these guys is real problem. I sure hope to fix that sooner then later.
Is there anyone from southern California with knowledge on how to stop these monsters? My kids have been gone for a little 2 years. Now I have no idea where they even are, I haven’t got to see or talk to them since covid started (March 2020)
What county? Ive been helping my mom fight LA County when she located in Riverside, Step-mom made false accusation and the SW added neglect to while no actual abuse occurred.

Reading all of these break my heart. I feel for all of you. I have a case in LA county as well and almost every social worker I have come in contact with is horrible. They tried to take my 1 year old daughter. I denied them access to steal my daughter, even with a warrant and with cops. Do not ever think they are on your side or telling you the truth!!!! Always get the number for their superior!!! And go above their head always! They have a God complex! Don’t stop calling until someone answers you and ask to file a formal report against the worker!!
Would like to know how you denied them access even with a warrant. I tried that and even tried to get temp custody so I would have a leg to stand on if/when they did take them. They caught me in court and made me give them up. As far as I can tell once the warrant to pick up is in place, there is nothing you could do. Am I wrong? Hi Misty! Do you take in cases that are closed. I’ve had a CPS case from 2009-2012 and my children were given to my brother. He has legal guardianship of them. As I keep on learning about legal procedures, I realize that I had gone through an unlawful search and seizure and no just due process. I’m an immigrant and had been in the US since 1998. During the time when I gotten arrested, there was basically a decoy who pretended to be my friend was at my house and then asked for a ride home. My husband was there with me at the house and she kept on asking to use my phone to call her brother/father. The last call she made was when we were going outside at 3 am and she had said that there “we are leaving the apartment”. So conveniently the cop had stopped up aggressively and started harassing us. Later on, that girl gets a restraining order against me and my husband. But this was the time when they had taken my kids. It was an unlawful seizure because the findings were the result of “malicious collaboration” between that girl and who knows how many cops without just due process. There was never any complaints of abuse or neglect, the kids had all the shots, even the cps examiner/evaluator had stated in the report the children are happy and healthy but the mother’s failure to protect by being walking outside of her home and leaving the children unattended.
The children were well taken care of, the fridge was full of food, the only thing is that I and my husband used drugs at the time. And in the reports the cps did not raise much of an issue that we’ve used drugs, they were more preoccupied with us leaving the children unattended. When we walked towards the car I and him were deciding on who will take that girl home.

I feel for you – here is an important vital aspect for your PTSD – called EMDR – PTSD was a real problem for me based on childhood trauma. EMDR is the answer. You may find that you will be able to heal more then just your PTSD. Find someone qualified – whatever you can spend on it is well worthwhile.
I started helping my niece with EMDR and it’s highly effective over zoom so it’s super easy and powerful….
My husband and I are losing our minds! CPS took our kids in mid Oct. Based on lies! Its been 5 months, and now we’re going backwards! On Monday, CPS removed my girls from family, and put them into a foster home! They said we’ve been visiting our girls too much!! Now we’re being told that we can’t see them at all!! Everything they say is lies! Even the conditions needed to meet, to get our kids back, keep changing!!
What were the allegations that lead to removal? Are they offering you services or just dragging their feet? Honestly you sound like very loving and involved parents I can’t imagine what more they could want from you guys.
We were told, someone called in and said my husband was making “pot cookies” with our 8yr old son! That’s obviously NOT true! But there was no investigation done either! They came in and abducted our children! Not sure how much more of this I can handle… I’ve been living inside law books for 9 months now! Learning what laws and statutes they’ve violated or broken. It’s a very long list!! Nearly impossible to find a competent lawyer… thinking I’m on my own! I want to dismantle that whole department!!
It is sick what they do to families. I dont understand how they get away with it, but they don’t and they know they can, they know we cant do anything. I havent seem my kids since October 2019, and they took them in October 2017. I jumped all their hoops and they still kept them. They’ve destroyed me, It’s entirely unbearable grieving my living children.

I’m going thru this with my grandchildren as well. I’m doing the same and have been going through this close to two years. But I haven’t given up and am not. Its been far from easy along with everything else that I have to deal with and go through everyday with other things and concerns and ect too. I live here now in Florida but am originally from Maryland. I’m so sorry you all are having to go through this too. May God please help and intervene soon on these evil and uncaring people. These poor children and what they have to go thru is I know I could only imagine is harder.

I like most humans make mistakes in life. I had suffered from a meth addiction for many years. I lost everything including my son whom was 5 months at the time. I was involved with cps in the state of montana. I did everything in my treatment plan within a 2 year period to finally embrace him in open arms. His father whom also suffered this addiction also went through the system right along with me. Only my sentencing was far longer. As I disagreed in the beginning I am very thankful now. I entered a treatment program of 9 months. I couldn’t agree more that we need more programs that don’t rush you through but help with the source of your problem. It took 6 months before I accepted and really finally started working my program. I am to this day still clean. Unfortunetly I cant say the same about his father. Chevy is now 5. Under his fathers care CPS stepped back in because of a dirty UA on a monthly visit to his probation officer. Because of my past I also have CPS in my life again. Im ordered to do UA’s and also a hair test. Chevy was taken from me. As I have nothing to hide I feel like it is wrong that I am suffering my child being placed in a different home. I haven’t seen him in weeks. And have only had a few phone calls. I just would like to know my rights and if there is anything I can do. I did nothing wrong. They are trying to charge me with neglect because they couldn’t reach me on a phone after the incident.. I honestly was just a single mother whom was having financial difficulties at the time. I didn’t have a phone because every penny was being saved to provide us in a new home and I thought that was more important at the time. I do too. I was under impression they weren’t sue-able TBH, which in itself is ridiculous (for the million reasons that we all know). Heck if that’s the case, let’s sue whoever made that ‘rule’ up and/or go up the chain. Sue the fact that we cannot sue. Ha, but serious. It’s time. Well it’s BEEN time, and/but for me personally – I’m finally getting stronger (truly may never fully ‘arrive’ until my babes are back. I am at least strong enough to no longer feel I have to wait until I’m ‘strong enough’ lol.) and am FED up.
I do not however, believe I could, or any of us should do this alone. If there isn’t already other parents organizing and attempting this elsewhere I would be very surprised, and am willing to bet that they would join us quite quickly.

Please my daughters gone through this almost 2 years and has done EVERYTHING they’ve asked her too ..Thing is they still wont tell me why paternal grandparents got them and now want to adopt them!! Need help! Cps forced us to sign a safety plan giving custody of my children to my in laws after false allegations were made. She made me sign after my husband repeatedly asked if we had to and it was necessary that they remove our kids.. Myself and my children were inconsolable at the time. We didn’t understand anything that was going on.. The case worker then told us the next day that she wasn’t pressing charges against us for neglect and my inlaws weren’t taking custody so I still have full custody of my kids. We have spent all day with them after school until bed time as she told us we couldn’t be there over night or alone with them even though I have custody and the drug allegations were false. Its been 9 days with no contact from the worker. I dont know what to do..
I am in Washington State.Ok I am trying to help my soon to be ex wife to get her granddaughter back. First of all wife is divorcing me because of cps. 10 yrs ago I was accused of first touching my son by my sister after my daughter was born so she could hopefully get her. Cps had me take polygraph through one of their. Lackies and said at first it was fine. Then 2 weeks later said I failed ok so ended up taking another through a different company with court appointed attorney. And passed that one. Couple yrs later my daughter’s mother lost her to cps. I get a call from cps that they put daughter in to foster care. I was told that my case showed I had failed they couldn’t find the one that said I passed till days later. So fought for daughter for a total of 3 1/2 yrs was told by cps that I was doing good and as soon as I had my own place I could have her. Then got accused of touching her. By a foster parent who wanted to adopt her. But it was supposed to of been in cps afilliate supervised facility. In Montesano. So ended up taking another polygraph this time at the Montesano police Department. And passed that one. I didn’t know about this site back then but I ended up. Giving up my parental rights. Because I could see that cps wasn’t ever going to stop so. I gave her up to mothers family haven’t seen her in over 10 yrs now. So yea back to wife’s problem her daughter lost granddaughter for drug use. My wife listening to cps said she could only get granddaughter if she left me. So wife left me then filed for divorce and also filed no contact order judge barely gave no-contact order because there was never any abuse but she used divorce as the possible thing to set me off. So now wife and I did try and reconciliation after she dropped the no contact a few months later. But cps came and removed the granddaughter a couple weeks ago and wife thinks I did it. But caseworker says it’s because she broke rules didn’t tell anything else. Because I was in process of getting background check done since I could prove that the failed polygraph they said was still showing up. And told them they needed to contact the police dept they dropped that then told wife I needed to do background check.which is ok since I have been a CNA for 32 yrs. So now I want to help wife get the granddaughter back is there any chance of her getting the granddaughter back. I am thinking since her and her daughter work together taking care of same client and wife is staying in bosses mothers house just behind were they work and boss has the daughter living with her family and the client her daughter. That’s how they broke the rules I am sure but wife thinks I did it because of the divorce. But I didn’t. But she did try a new no contact but judge dismissed this order but wif. Is still continuing with divorce. Go to pre trial on the 26th day after Christmas. I will sign but still want to help wife get granddaughter back for her. Is there anything we can do. I am the maternal grandmother of a child who is the subject of a DCS dependency matter. I am looking for an attorney who will defend the parents and or me regarding unsubstantiated claims in the DCS dependency petition. ( although the parents have court appointed attorneys, those attorneys seem to be doing very little).
The parents have been accused of domestic violence and medical neglect.
I believe I can prove there has been no domestic violence between the parents. Or at the very least, that DCS allegations are unsubstantiated. Worse, though, in fact, calls to the child abuse hotline were made to report the domestic violence of the other grandparents upon the parents. DCS has, by either dishonestly or incompetency misconstrued those calls to attribute domestic violence between the parents.
Atsonishingly, the minor child has been placed with the other grandparents. – again, the very people who were reported to the child abuse hotline to begin with.
This level of incompetency or dishonesty by DCS seems to rise to the level of newsworthy.
There are also allegations in the DCS dependency petition against the parents for medical neglect. I also find many discrepancies in DCS notes and case records that eliminates the culpability of the parents of medical neglect.
I have been a paralegal for more than 30 years, although the bulk of my experience is in the area of estate planning. Nonetheless, I am familiar with how some attorneys handle billing.
I can afford some sort of initial retainer and thereafter be billed by the hour. I would expect the representation to be limited in scope.

I had TEMPORARY legal guardianship (through Probate court) of my 11 year old granddaughter when a false allegation was called in to CPS and they arrived at my home on a Sunday with a warrant to remove my granddaughter from my care. Does TEMPORARY legal guardianship have any standing in court for violation of civil rights?
Start demanding the performance bond information from these people and inform them if your property is not returned you will be suing them in their personal capacity along with their spouse if they are married. Since your children are priceless, everything they own, will not cover the harm they have caused your children, depriving them of their mother. How much can be charged for time that can never be replaced? How much can be charged for trauma that will last a lifetime(separation anxiety, foster care abuse). These social workers get bonuses for each child adopted out. Do not trust them. If they file a complaint against you , file a claim against them in their personal capacity. Only do this as a last resort, if you have complied and they still won’t give your child back, Attack them personally.

Vanessa, don’t be discouraged I’m here in Washington State and my grandson was kidnapped by CPS on 12.11.2017 and has been gone for 2 years. I had court custody of him since he was 8 months old. He is 12 years now. On the 10th of July, 2019 they took away my custody. The court appointed lawyer and the judge presiding over the case were at one time partners in a law firm. If you feel that the CPS and the lawyer and the judge did not hear your side of the story contact your state COMMISSION ON JUDICIAL CONDUCT…in search and there are a lot of choices call them for a complaint form since you can’t send in e-mail or fill out on the computer and attach all papers pertaining to your case. Desperately need help. Cps was contacted with completely false accusations regarding boyfriend and I who had obtained custody of newborn w intentions of adopting. the birth mother had him while in prison and we picked him up from hospital when he was 2 days old I’m the mgr where I work and accusations came from employee who I had to take disciplinary action on same day call went in to Cps. I have a past history w Cps from 8 yrs ago (drug abuse) and voluntarily signed custody to ex mom in law. I have been clean now for 4 1/2 yrs and actually babies dob was 4 yr clean. The next accusations was misproven bus judge when presented as finding by Cps no funds for dr. but had just had appt had follow up scheduled and had given Cps a prescription for him plus he had insurance. the sex offender thing was a joke. brought some pic of guy who obviously wasn’t my bf just same name I even offered move out of home cause of history if didn’t remove him and when didn’t work actually have several relatives willing that r already approved foster parents wiling too. That was heard by judge and I won. The Cps worker lied under oath to judge when asked if he was appropriate dressed she said no and asked if needed medical attention said yes. Was previously asked exact same question by different judge and her answer was yes appropriate dress and no did not need medical was healing normally. Have requested copy of both transcripts. The birth Mom is now out and came and spent 2 wks. w us she signed all her rights over to my bf for adoption due to history. figured best way but been 3 mths n they still dragging feet. We just want our son. we waited 6 1/2 mths. same as if I was pregnant. We were even allowed to name him. we love him as our own and won’t stop til he is home.

Lisa, to get court records go to your county clerk’s office to ask about the local procedure. To get CPS records, go to the caseworker and tell them you want to look at their case file. The identity of reporting parties are redacted…. kept secret, by law.
I am in need of probono lawyer. I recently went to a 90 day check hearing and the IOP program I completed was disregarded. However, I had met with my case worker’s supervisor before court and she said she would give me the “green light” to start Goodwill Parenting as soon as I completed my IOP program. At court my case worker suggested that I must wait until I have my newborn that I’m pregnant with now, before I start Goodwill Parenting. Im 2.5 yrs in an unbelievably hellious case. My baby boy is now 3.5 yrs old, Illegally kidnapped at 10mnths old along with my (then ) 10 yrold (now 13soon) Feb 2018. Trainee with very little & very poor training did not know how to do her job ethically, correctly, or with any commen sense. False Allegstions, 1st 2 UA misread (new) screens to dept. Administered by new trainee with very little if any & very poor training in general. No training on new UA test procedures including how to properly administer, read & report. (Admitted by sw trainee on 3rd ua visit in 11 days. She misread it AGAIN! I absolutly stood by ground because I knew there was some kind of mistake on all 3! Trainee braggingly showed a senior sw the cup & smiled. The other sw said “No Shes Good” then told me good job keep it up b4 walking away.)Trainee knew she had royally screwed up for sure now. My kids were removed from my care because she misread the very 1st UA screen 11 days earlier to begin with on Feb 1 [#1]. Again Feb 5 [#2] & Feb 11 [#3]. (I went to office unannounced on #2 & made her test me to prove my innocence & bring my babies home to me i thought) FALSE REPORTS on childs medical history. FALSE REPORTS on childs family history. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING IN THIS CASE HAS BEEN FALSIFIED!!! VIOLATION OF OUR RIGHTS (×3), MINE & BOTH MY CHILDREN HAVE. I have done everything ×10+ more since this unbearable nightmare began. In appeal to have goal changed back to reunify from adoption. Juv judge changed it after 2yrs.. Also ordering no contact with baby whom i hadnt seen in year & half already! But gave full custody of my oldest back to me 3mnths early. Both parties appealled goal changed to Adoption but Cps dropped theirs 1st day in appeals court. Then coronavirus pandemic hit. They now are wanting appeal trial to be Sept 4 2020, now TPR moved up to Oct 16 2020. Please help me! There is so much more i havent even touched on yet. That is just the very first of our story. My child was taken from me today over drug abuse allegations. I gave them a drug test yesterday as soon as they asked for one ( Thursday ) I am clean. I am in recovery. My history is not good, but today I am clean. Before getting thr results back they asked for a judges order to remove my son. How can I fight this? This was totally unfair. use your Miranda rights. get all your tests from hospitals and doctors. have a clean result. use your Miranda rights. say nothing to them even if it hurts and they threaten you. don’t sign a service plan without getting an attorney. you will need a defense attorney or a criminal attorney willing to fight against them. collect all records and keep them with you or safe. don’t trust any one hospitals doctors teachers legal aid attorneys make sure you do this. they all work together they get 250,000 for each kid in there custody. go to google and search how to fight cps and dcfs and read it and use it for your own good. take care be safe.
I wish I would have seen this before I made the huge mistake of signing a family safety plan after being a victim of domestic violence. I have two of my kids under 24 hour surveillance by a monitor but not the youngest one bc his dad’s mother (works for okdhs) said she was worried about cigarette smoke residue on my monitors clothes and him getting rsv, which is not true at all (asked his doctor) and she still has him. Despite Drs note to them, they still won’t return him. Conflict of interest at its finest.

What can be done if and after safety plan was or has been signed? Threatened to take kids if not signed
It would be best to consult a local attorney about this now if you can. If you sign the safety plan you will be expected to complete “services” and do everything they say you must do. This safety plan should have a termination date otherwise it could go on for many months until they finally get together enough negative information on you to prevail in court. With a safety plan, you don’t get a free attorney… that would only happen if you’re low income and there’s a day in court. You are being coerced to sign that plan. This should be illegal but that’s how CPS works… they play on your fears.. and what’s more fear invoking than the thought of losing your children?

I have been in anguish since July 10th, 2015. My son and stepdaughter were taken by CPS after 3 Children drowned. The state knew nothing about us until then. We were circumspect. They had a lying witness, and I told a worker that statutes do not apply to me, since I was not under contract. My son has no birth certificate. I did not sign him into slavery. They changed his title to a NAME, citing the mother was still married. I was at work when the accident occurred. How can they take away inalienable rights? I would never agree to be a corporate fiction, and I don’t. I have a 17 year old daughter who was also with us. I take care of her. I took care of all the children. Now my son and stepdaughter are being indoctrinated by one who can’t even take care of herself. I didn’t teach my son “Jesus” because there are better imaginary friends. I gave him colodial silver, cell salts, and no meat, no cows milk, no drugs. CPS has violated its own codes and told me they were seeking to remove my parental rights. Nocpos(thier mother) has been beside herself for a year. The lawyers are a joke, and they have been stupid. Help.
Ahkbar, your beliefs are so outside the norm for Americans, you are easy for CPS to attack. I believe you have great health choices but the typical American CPS social worker will disagree and call this child neglect. The lack of a birth certificate was also no doubt a huge red flag to the CPS social workers; I’m sure you know this. You may be technically right about the laws but this kind of thinking goes over the head of most Americans educated in public schools. You’re right, the lawyers appointed by juvenile courts are generally ineffective. That’s why I have this site here to teach people about using legal documents they prepare themselves for court – such as the Declaration of Facts, and Statement of Objections and Corrections to the Report of the Social Worker. I hope you can put together your own case. CPS is forcing a lot of unprepared parents to become their own legal advocates and paperwork producers. I feel your grief. go to google and search how to fight cps and dcfs very helpful also petition your courts for all documents against you in your county. they have to give them to you. also phone calls recorded messages and all documentation with these organizations. use your miranda rights. don’t say nothing plead the 5th don’t sign a service plan that’s when they start using and building a case against you.
This is by no means meant to be legal advice. But talk to your attorney to see if CPS has violated your rights under the Constitution of the United States. If he/she feels so then you may be able to seek redress in 42 USC 1983. This is a law that removes the exemption status for state employees. Hence it allows you to sue them personally for violating your Constitutional rights. Enough people use this law it will make them stop and think should I be doing this can I be sued.
