Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.

Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.

Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.

Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.

Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.

CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.

Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.

It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

Another Champion of Justice - Thank you, Barbara Hollingsworth!

This week I received email with links to a series of news articles written by Barbara Hollingsworth about CPS injustice. She’s looking for cases in and around Washington DC, to profile them in future news articles.

Here are her article links:

Victims claim CPS officials guilty of ‘ruthless behavior - examples of CPS injustice from around the USA.

Is it child protection or legal kidnapping? - how CPS works, and how innocent parents can be accused of wrongdoing.

Bureaucrats running down the clock against parents - this is about ASFA, the Orwellian law passed in 1996 that allows CPS to terminate parental rights after keeping a child in foster care for only 15 months. This has encouraged the CPS tactic of delaying reunifications until the time limit is reached so they can adopt out children even if the parents are adequate and have done everything required. This law also gives states bonus money for each child adopted out.

ASFA = “The Adoptions and Safe Families Act” - ostensibly written to keep children from having to live in long term foster care, by encouraging adoptions. In practice it has encouraged states to rip apart young families to get the babies because they are most easily adopted out. Older “hard to adopt” children are featured on meat-market type websites where people can look through to see if they want any featured children. The states get thousands of dollars for each adoption, from the federal treasury. “Child collectors”… aka Adopters… get thousands of dollars in adoption subsidy payments. Social workers get jobs since they are the front-line in taking children from their families. It is a win-win situation for everyone except parents and children who are used, abused, and traumatized for life by this pathetic rush for money by greedy systemites.

New Book: My God Box - Memoir of a Foster Child

A former foster child has written a memoir about her years living in abusive foster homes. My God Box has a Christian slant while exposing the damage done to children in foster homes. I discovered the book this morning by reading an editorial about it, Former Foster Child & Advocate Focuses on System Flaws in Foster Care. The editor who wrote that article seemed to totally understand our concerns about how foster care can be worse than a challenging family life.

The author of My God Box, Margaret Iuculano, was in foster care for five years. During that time she lived in fifteen different foster homes. In an interview on Tampa Bay News she said, “The foster families that I encountered, they were not positive experiences….Unfortunately for me, my foster experiences. were almost or more abusive than the environment I was removed from.” You can see this interview on the media page of her website: Margaret Iuculano.

A Beautiful Site: One Out of Many

If you’re a single parent, you must see this site. This is a fairly new website advocating for single parents. Site owner Tiffani Howard has applied for non-profit status for One Out of Many, and is actively working to improve the lives of single parents and their children. She has a lot to say about CPS injustice and parental alienation.

I’m particularly encouraged to see this promising site because for years now I’ve been saying that my site is not enough. I am one dedicated person, but this problem of CPS injustice is huge, and victims of false accusations by CPS social workers need lots of help - more than just one person can provide. I want to see as many new websites about CPS as people can make. I want this issue to be prominent all over the internet.

Thanks, Tiffani, for making such a beautiful site, and for working to help single parents who are victimized by CPS.

One Out Of Many.

DVD Review: Snap Decision

Snap Decision, a movie based on a true story, was released in 2001. Tonight I saw it for the first time on DVD. It was about a widowed mother of three, Jen, whose best friend, Carrie, arrived for an overnight visit. Carrie, a photographer from Chicago, was in town to receive an award at a banquet.

While Carrie was staying with them the three children, who were very young - ages 1, 4, and 7 - bounced into the bedroom early in the morning mostly undressed, and proceeded to do what kids do - which is have fun, jump around, and be playful. Carrie, the photographer, grabbed her camera and started taking pictures of the little ones, who were her godchildren.

After getting back to Chicago, Carrie had twenty rolls of film developed. When the developer saw 36 pictures of playful, mostly naked kids with adult women, she reported them to the police.

I’m not going to tell you the whole drama, but as you can imagine there were CPS workers and lawyers involved. The police detective was the most suspicious, accusing person in the film, and the CPS caseworker was much more understanding. From what I know as a family rights activist with over fifteen years experience helping families, this is odd because usually it is the caseworkers that families complain about, but it goes to show you never know who will be mentally well-balanced, and who will choose to see things in the most perverse way possible.

At Netflix the film has only 3.1 stars out of 2,721 ratings as of tonight. I gave it five stars because I think it gives a good portrayal of the kinds of stress placed on a family facing false accusations of child abuse or neglect, and because I appreciate that someone made a film showing a false accusation of child abuse.

Stolen Baby Video At YouTube

Find out what happened to CPS caseworker Gary Sanderson and CPS Director Jill McVey after Daddy Justice Films interviewed them. According to the baby’s mother, Sanderson stole her baby, rudely throwing his paperwork into her face, on the basis of a false allegation that she was using drugs. She offered to take a drug test, but a negative result on that wasn’t enough. Her baby was held in a foster home for nearly two months though there was no evidence against her.

I recommend this eight-minute video to whoever wants to know a little about what it is like to be involved in a CPS case, but bear in mind this family was lucky - they eventually, after much heartache and trauma, got their child back - while many others do not.

Because I run a website for parents facing false accusations of child abuse or neglect, I occasionally receive angry comments from people who don’t understand how I can help accused parents. They seem to have missed the keyword: FALSE accusations. Someone has to help these parents and too often their county-paid lawyers won’t take the time to do an effective job. What’s wrong with giving the parents a bit of legal knowledge that could help them get their kids back? Where would the child in this video be now if the mother and grandmother didn’t have someone to help them?

This video demonstrates how a false accusation can destroy a family and traumatize a child.
