My husband and I have never had a hearing and it has been 5 weeks since we have seen our children. I went to my oldest son's school to pick him up but didn't see him anywhere so I went into the office to ask where he was. A police officer comes into the office and tells me that my son was released into CPS custidy and if I try to see any of my children of have contact with them he would arrest me. Then a CPS worker showed up at our house with 3 police officers and told us they were here to take our other 3 children and if we didn't let them take them then they wouldn't go to family they would go to foster care. We didn't want our children to go through that so we agreed to allow them to take the children to their uncles house. They made us sign a safety plan stating that we were to have no contact with our children whatsoever and all this in the presense of 3 Police officers. When we asked why the children were being taken they said they received a report that by 2 people and it is being investigated but that they could not tell us what it was. Well after 3 weeks of not knowing what was going on and tryoing everything to find out and not getttting any answers, we were asked to go to our local police station so they could tell us what was happening. When we arrived they first asked to speak with my husband. then when they called me in they told me that the report they received was that my husband was sexually abusing 2 of our children and that I was told by my children that this was happening. Well I was shocked! My children have never told me such things!! They again refused to tell me who was saying such things only that they had 60 days to investigate. well we desided we weren't talking and it was time to get a lawyer. Unfortunately my husband and I are both outta work at this time so we can't afford an attorney so Public defenders office here we come. later that week we received a call from their uncle who has been taking our 190 year old to theopy for anxity problems and he informed us that the theopist was very concerned for his brother (my husband) because when she called to tell them what he had said abput a third paty doing this to him and that he hated his grandma and he wanted to see his dad the case worker informed her that she had to push him harder to make him say it was his dad doing this to him because they "know" it was his father. I am scared of what is going to happen and miss my children dearly. I can't talk to them see them or anything and I know they all want to come home but I do not know where else to turn for help. We haven't heard back from our attorney in a week and have left messages for him. Please help!! Seems like people are intimidated by the CPS or they are getting some kind of monetary benefit for secretly promoting CPS in their racket to swipe children from innocent families! Hope I can be of some support to other families going thru the same thing I am. Of course I don't know your case, and only a lawyer could advise. I don't give out my phone number and don't work on individual cases. We do have a message board here for people needing feedback on their cases. I talked breifly to woman attorney in az. who turned from social worker attorney.She said sounds like the violated welfare procedure by not asking if the grandparents would take children.The mother of childrens parents had the children for almost a year in california.yet welfare in arizona never considered them. Grandpa didnt know how to procede.crying. These people wants to help serious trauma, me included. Mother wont ans phone in az. grandpa cant bear to talk .Could you please give me some way to talk to you linda. Every sunday couldnt get letter to you. computer broken, cant work it to get letter in time,ect.hard to fight alone.I have met a person yesterday say they pestered welfare to death. Gave me confidence to write you short letter to you.do you h ave a message phone so dont have to wait week after week.? I cant always work crappy lab top. Library in small town here a mess, law library blocks on computer couldnt view all of your web site here.The violation of procedures are as follows. Mother some how got kids for year and a half at the brother of my grandaughters aunt. She let me go out wiyh her and one brother and her 3 daughters to dinner where I met my grandaughter for first time. I was so happy. Shes 6yrs. and mother moved and told welfare a different man waqs the dad.so welfare gave this mother with 4 children welfare 3yrs with out even checking the dad she named was not real father.I went to child support services in ca. where little girl was born and found a year or more records on this guy who was really pissed as I found him.Welfare never even bothered to check. Sept of 2009 they found out. made my son take paternity test,he had to go to oregon to do it. they said your the dad I was so happy.
