Child Protective Services laws and agencies are abusive to families and children. This site provides support and information to parents falsely accused of child abuse by Child Protective Services.

FightCPS does not advocate or condone violence or illiegal activities of any kind.

FightCPS is intended to help people learn enough about the law to be able to successfully defend themselves and their families against false accusations using legal documents and strategies that put parents in a stronger position when they go back to court.

For more information, see the FAQ.

Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.

Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.

Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.

Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.

Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.

CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.

Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.

It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

  3. Please pray for my 4 grandbabies who were stolen by DSS in Charlotte Co., Va. I raised them from babies with my daughter, and they were stolen from us a yr. ago, and it is all about $. Their names are Makaila, Sierra, Marvin, and Diamond. Please pray that they are safe and will someday, someway find their way back to us, their rightful parent and grandparent….. DSS is so full of lies, they disgust me, and the evil they render is proof that Satan is alive and well here on earth. Everyone who sees this, please say a prayer that my babies will be safe until we get them away from this evil called DSS. Thank you all. Anita

  5. Prayer Request

CPS took my son. I am supposed to have supervised visitation, but they won’t contact me to tell me when it is. They will not allow my family to take the child.
My husband was abusing our son, but I took him to the doctor, turned him in, and filed for divorce and then was accused of letting it happen. My husband lied and told them I knew about it and they believed him. Why would I take him to the doctor if I had known about it all that time. They won’t even let me see my son. I have seen my son 1 time in almost a month! I have been promised visitiation but when it is going to happen is anyone’s guess.
The social worker who took my son was very accusitory and called me a liar when I told her something different from what my husband had told her. I am thinking about filing a complaint with the state against her for that among other things.

  6. My daughter, age 22, is suffering–and making all of us suffer–from parental alienation syndrome–I talked with her extensively during the last few months of her pregnancy, and we thought she had turned over a new leaf–turns out, we found out when we got there for our grandson’s birth, that she was going to continue her abusiveness; she had only wanted us to come to make her ‘look good’, and to get as much money from us as she could!! I am disgusted with the people who are aiding and abetting her in this, and who then turn around and manipulate her and use
money–or the lack of it–to control her (when they have LOTS of it)….I pointed this out to her, and told her there was only so much we could do about this if she wasn’t willing to do her part and be honest, straightforward, clean up the messes she had caused, and match the good faith we had put in her–no good.
Please pray for us, the baby, and her. Who would have thought the wealthy people we are having to deal with wouldn’t have run right out and buy the best forms of manners and ethics when they could afford them, years ago??

  10. Hope, I’m praying for you and your children… and put you on my prayerlist. How did court go?

    Comment by LindaJoMartin — March 3, 2010 @ 11:07 pm

  11. Mandy, sounds like you’re still at the beginning of the case, so there’s a good chance you’ll be able to derive the most benefit from the information on this site. Your case may depend on your ability to prove that you’re no longer in contact with your husband. The caseworkers are testing you. They can’t possibly really believe that anything coming from your husband (abuser) is valid. They also know that when couples divorce many lies are told.

Be strong. Learn about legal self-defense from this site and others like it. You can get more feedback on your case from our message board.

I am praying for you and have put your request on my prayer list.

About your visitation – if the judge ordered it and the caseworkers aren’t allowing it, you can file for a state administrative hearing. Also use the visitation report forms and declarations in the legal document library.

  14. Please pray that the truth will come out and my husband can come home with his family where he belongs. CPS is on a witch-hunt – searching for signs of abuse where there are none. Our oldest daughter, 15, was angry that my husband and I were working toward a reconciliation after being separated for a year. She wanted our permission to date an 18 year old boy. We stood together and told her “NO!” So she falsely accused my husband of abuse – saying he gave her a “wedgie.” This is not the first time she has done this nor the first man she has accused. She is now living with some close family friends and they are seeking counseling for her, but CPS is also concerned because he hugged his 10 year old daughter in public. What I’m hearing from them is “don’t be a deadbeat dad, but don’t love your kids, either.” He is a very good father who is only guilty of loving his children and doing his best to protect them. I’m sick of strangers with their nose in my business, judging my family unfairly and inaccurately. Please pray that God shuts the door on this investigation and opens the door for my family to be reunited asap. Thank you, my prayers are with you all.

  16. Please pray for my special needs foster child and I to win a reverse decision to revoke my license.
He was set up by the professionals that was supposed to protect children.

Two children are involved in one incident that has him now facing criminal charges.

The THERAPIST of a child needing respite care for three hours asked me to provide service to this child (HER CLIENT).
I had been providing services to younger children per this agceny’s request with my special needs child I have had for three years that came from this very agency that he had been with for about 7 years. The professionals in this agency CLEARLY knows his issues. He had be declared STABLE and discharged from that program and I was asked to do guardianship. I was about to when all HELL has broken out.
CPS of Washington state refuses to acknowledge the therapist’s actions in this case that puts the agency at fault.
Please PRAY FOR JUSTICE FOR MY BOY and me.

    Comment by Beverly — March 5, 2010 @ 1:32 pm

  17. Beverly,

I was offended by your post. I will pray for the special needs boy (NOT YOUR BOY!!!!) that he be returned to his natural parents and or their family. He is somebody’s real grandson, nephew or son. NOT “MY” BOY!!!

I will pray for justice also, as I frequently do. And with any luck, God will hear my prayers and continue to revoke your license for helping these illegal kidnappers steal our babies.

Only with my massive reasearch,I have found what we truly believe the problem is. only the 6 mo old premature baby has “unexsplained fractures” and brittle bone dsisease is VERY common in premie babies and he fits almost ALL of the symptoms. The older baby has NO injurys or issues. CPS doesnt want to believe ANYTHING except abuse tho.’ they are blocking ever attempt we try to get another unbiased dr. opinion and properly test for “OI”, brittle bone disease.THIS IS A NIGHTMARE tearing us all apart! PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR US, ALSO, IF anyone has ANY ideas, sugestions, help in ANYWAY, please send it my way. GOD BLESS US ALL!

  19. iI am a mother in desperate need of many prayers and any help from anyone whos been through this injustice by CPS. Me and my fiance are beeing falsly accused of abuse on our 6 mo old baby. we also have a 23 mo old. who has no issues. we took our baby to the ER because hed been sick, and stopped breathing. The hospital saw a couple small bruises that our older child had tryed to share a toy with the baby and it hit him and made a bruise, another sign of brittle bone disease. they also found unexsplained old fractures. We have NO IDEA how he got these. I KNOW we would NEVER EVER hurt our babies in anyway. Were trying to get him properly tested for brittle bone disease. CPS only is going by what there dr.s are saying. They are on there side, not ours.NOBODYS helping us. we have NO IDEA what to do. Except dont trust CPS. they have taken both of our babies, they are our entire life. I cant live without them. WE NEED HELP!! PLEASE help us. ANY advice would be greatly appriciated.

  22. Please pray that I gain custody of my son from North Carolina DSS. So far, my husband and I are in almost 23K in attorneys fees, plane tickets and buying the things he needs that are not being provided. Please pray that they stop the madness and see that we are what is best for him, not some group home. We are not his abusers – we are trying to bring him to us to stop the cycle of abuse. But he is a paycheck and job security for them. Please pray with us and for us that he comes home soon. We don’t have the luxury of court appointed attorneys or any kind of state aid, so we are paying for all of this on our own. It seems they are trying to make us financially insolvent so they can have an excuse for us to not get him either.

    Comment by Heather — March 11, 2010 @ 11:42 am

  23. Beverly,
I recognize that you are a victim of the system. However, this child came to you, it seems he is also a victim. As a provider for specal needs children, I understand that the son you refer to, may not have been removed from his home due to accusations. Having adopted special needs children, I understand that sometimes parents vol. give up children because they do not recieve the supports necessary to parent their children. That is yet another flaw in our system!
You and the child you refer to deserve our prayers and understanding. Sometimes, things are not so black and white, right and wrong. I hope that this child’s bio family is involved in his life, in these choices and are a means of support to him. May God bless your efforts.

  27. OMG! I had no idea there were so many people illegally loosing their children. I didn’t have that problem whti my children, however, CPS took my 2 month old grandson Feb 3 from the hosptial when he had rsv. To no fault of our own he contacted this. It is common for babyies to get this. We took him in to the emergency room and they released him. one hour later we took him back to the doctors and they admitted him. The hosptial is not saying we neglected him it is cps. theya re trying to force us to give him up for adoption. My daughter in law had a crappy attorney the first case she had and lost her two children in Denver County. She was pregnant when the case closed and they werent’ even considering takin gthe unborn child at that time. After he was born they are now trying to bring up the old case even though she volunterially gve the other two up because she wanted the best for her kids and it had been more than a year. They were in good homes and the people wanted to adopt and she will stillb e able to have contact with the children after the adoption is final. however we are not giving up on this one. we have atwo good attorneys on this case that are court appointed. they are fighting their butts off for us. We still need prayers. The baby is with his older sister family that are adopting her and they are even fighting for us to get the baby back. since they have met my kids they think that cps is really trying to screw them and even though they are adopting little Naomi they want my kids to have their son back. the agreement is that my daughter inlaws adopted brother is adopting her 3 year old son, this other family is adopting her 1 year old daughter and they are fostering the now 4 month old baby boy, Nathan Michael. we go to court on wenesday in jackson county. even the gardian at lithem is wanting this cps case workers licenses. that is bad. even though they were caught in lies they want to take it to trial and we are more than willing to go if that is what it takes to get little Nathan back. But please pray for our family.

I will pray for all of you who have done nothing wrong and don’t deserve your children being ripped from you.

Don’t give up no matter what. You find away to fight for your babies. God is with you all tonight and every night.

  31. 36 days into dealing with the illegal kidnapping of our two beautiful daughters (because while in their biological father’s care for their two day monthly visitation, he decided to file a false report because of bruising on the back side of the oldest “caused by a fall in Gym class at school” and somehow got the eight year old to tell these monsters that (The daddy they live with did it) Which would be me :( . Our youngest daughter would not support her story and said when asked “She didn’t even remember the last time she was spanked” I’ve lost close to 15 lbs in all this, can’t sleep and am totally ill and lost without my little girls. My wife has probably gained that much ….just a woman’s luck to gain weight while I lose it :) . Trying to keep hopeful and know this is Evil at work, so we are just believing that God will use this darkness to remove the negative from my children’s life so we can peacefully move on as a happy and loving family without the hateful and negative force involved that is their biological dad and his hate for them having a guy in their lives who deeply loves them and actually is/was willing to step up and be their dad.

  34. DCS gave my son to his father after he abused him on numerous levels. They dropped all physical & sexual abause charges against dad after a TEN MINUTE EVALUATION on my son! They removed my son from me over false allegations of MSBP, with the help of a dirty doctor, then they turned it to “psychological trauma” over multiple doctor’s visits. Thank you for helping my child during such a vulnerable time! The very people you think will help your child during such fragile time turn to protect the abuser – due to DCS connections – and remove the child from the only home he has ever known!

The multiple levels of devestation are nearly unbearable and this is not over…. Please pray for truth and justice over wealth and power for my son and I.

Prayers are more powerful than earthly wealth.

  35. Please pray for my son. His soon-to-be ex wife has made false allegations against him and CPS is trying to take his parental rights away of his baby daughter. CPS has been lying about what happens during his supervised visits with his baby. I have been a witness to a couple of these lies. He has not been given any opportunity to give his side of how things truly are and CPS workers refuse to call him back any time he leaves a message for him. Please pray that the Lord will give him strength to endure this injustice, that he will be reunited with his baby and that the lies will be exposed.

  37. I have been in a 9 year battle for the lives of my 4 grandchildren. I first reported physical and sexual abuse to CPS in Colorado to no avail. My daughter married a sexual abuser and was released from CPS to move to Missouri. Fourteen months later and $40,000 I received visitation. My daughter returned home with her 2 children and I believed she had made a turn-around in her life. As soon as another man came into her life, she soon married him. The last time I saw my grandchildren, four years ago, they informed me, that the new stepfather was beating them. I contacted, Montana CPS, the sherrif’s dept. and the church we were attending. Nothing was done. The school they attend reported severe beatings on the children and that there heads were being held in the toilets until they would almost drown. My grandson is in foster care, they have returned the other 3 to my daughter who wants the abuser back in the house. My granddaughter has not eaten in a week and a half and there is no concern by CPS. I was extremely close to my grandchildren and the only one they trusted. I am still not allowed to see them. I am planning to unite grandparents to fight for the children who are returned to abusive situations and fight for Godly grandparents to have rights. Please join us in prayer not only for our grandchildren, but for all the children being hurt. God Bless you all!

  40. Tomorrow morning I will be walking into court on a petition filed by CPS, (Petition to Declare Child in Need of Care), in regards to my 12 yr old daughter. I was served papers Tuesday to be in court Monday. This is what happen when I told a case worker in the mid of Jan. not to come back to my home without a order from the court. On Feb.19-09 accusations were made on myself stating “dependency on prescription drugs”. I have for over a year complied with everything CPS requested that I do, including 2 random drug test. I have passed both. The case worker assigned to my “investigation” has stated throughout the year that several times she has went to her supervisor to have the case dismissed because she could find nothing to prove the accusations throughout these 13 months. So in December the case worker asked if I would take one last test and she assured me the case would be dropped if the test was clean. I had just went through 2 major surgeries (sept. & dec.), i was on crutches for 6 months and a full leg brace and was under doctor medication. I was told no problem. Two days after my last surgery I went and had the second test. Two days later I phoned the caseworker about results and was ready for it to be closed. I was told she had not received results yet, but she would call when we hung up. She asked me to tell her what meds that I was taking under drs care. I waited for a month and nothing. Mid Jan/10 at 7pm my kids and myself had just finished with dinner and there was a knock on the door. And there the caseworker stood. She came inside like it was a monthly visit. I immediately asked why and she said b/c I had tested positive for a certain RX drug, which was told to her by me when she asked what dr meds was I taken at that time. I brought her my rx bottle she wrote the info down. I was so aggravated and mad that politely I told her that I have had enough they have been in my home for over a yr and have done exactly what they asked and I have been lied to and they were not to come back. I feel violated and to think that false accusations made by mad ex inlaws have been proven not true and now I have to go to court tomorrow and fight for my daughter. INSANE! I am a divorced mother of two, I work 6 days a week in the home health field ,how in the world can I stay “Loaded all the time on rx drugs”! stated in accusation by x-inlaws I have not the time nor the $$$! Please pray for answers and justice tomorrow for my daughter and I.

This is a horrible accident that has only caused trauma to our children’s lives. Please pray it all gets worked out for what is RIGHT!!! Mommy loves you babies!!!
