I have survived 2 demurrers and the fight to get the case file disclosed, but we are here ~ in discovery ~ and I am “at issue” with 5, count ‘em 5, intact causes of action.

They can’t throw me out or drown me out or laugh me out ~ so I watch my own back very carefully. I have found it necessary to send my baby away again ~ though this time by choice and to a great place ~ because I feel the target growing on my backside. I had to get her out of the crosshairs. Another social worker “interviewed” the child, without my knowledge or consent, before trying to gain entrance to my home by lying. I reminded her that I had read the code and we were probably done for that day…but it didn’t stop them from coming, did it?

Well, now there is nothing here for them to chew on ~ save that target on my butt. I wrote letters to the worker, the Juvenile Judge and the Superior Court Judge ~ and the Attorney General making it clear that she had yet again violated my civil rights and those of my child by trying to induce me to give up my civil rights under false pretense (IOW lying to get in my house) and that this was past a social worker investigating a referral ~ it is now DEFENDANTS trying to get into PLAINTIFF’S house…

Suffice to say, they are not happy with me. I lock my car not for fear it will be stolen. No, no ~ far more likely that something ‘falls’ in one of the windows, you know?

I am still trying to find an attorney for the child. I read the suggestions everyone sent ~ and thank you! But yes I have tried everything I can think of.

Mandatory Settlement Conference is scheduled for November 1, 2010 and the trial date so far is 12/14/10. Keep thinking the good thoughts for us ~ this could just work out well…

You bet the civil suit was filed! And so we begin the protracted adversarial process – and it is a lot of work –

BUT SILENCE ONLY BENEFITS THE PREDATOR – IT DOES NOTHING FOR THE PREY.

So even if it’s hard and daunting – and it is, I know – you are going to have to learn some law before you can parent…Chip up, shoulders out – and make friends with your local law librarian!

Also don’t forget that simply because they have ever taken a child at all – regardless of the outcome – they have the right to take that child again almost at will. I cannot and could not live with that.

Until there is reform, every avenue available must be pursued and exploited to right the wrongs and show the children we can’t be scared away from them.
