Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Anthony and Lisa Demaree lost their children to CPS agents after a clerk at Walmart reported that they had bath-time photos developed there. CPS didn’t accept that the photos were innocent. The parents were charged with child sexual maltreatment of their children. Apparently they requested a trial and fought the charges because their children were returned after only a month. The judge agreed that the pictures were harmless.
Unfortunately a lot of damage was done by that time. Lisa Demaree was suspended from her job at a school for a year, and they’re both now on the Arizona list of sex offenders.
They’re fighting back with a lawsuit against Walmart and the city of Peoria, Arizona.
I like this video because it show two people who have probably never had CPS problems… and they see how CPS has totally overstepped its bounds. The public is realizing that CPS is taking children that have never been abused.

In our local walmart , if your kid throws a tantrum, they call 911 because it is of the mind set if your child isnt happy at the moment the parents are doing something to the kid. The also play million questions with you if your child is with you during public school hours, seem to be totally out of touch with the fact that a lot of families homeschool for various reason.
It has gotten so bad we are almost afraid to take our kids anywhere in public . Both are Bi Polar and ODD as well as severe adhd and you never know when the mood will change and they will have a manic fit. Society as a whole needs to get a grip. We give them life, we feed and cloth them, nurture them, guide them. What is iit going to take to stop this insanity? NOT every child that has a tantrum, or is shown in a bath time photo is being abused in any way. The government needs to get a grip and give us our parental rights back.

The same scenario played out in NJ a year or so ago wherein a grnadmother was arrested for a photo of a grandchild.
Criminal charges were dismissed. I don’t know what happened with DCFS
Actually since I live in AZ where this happened, I have followed the case closely. They are suing Walmart 1st and formost. The state attonry generals office secondly. For the entire month this family was broken, our atty general said nothing to the media about the photos. Then about a week ago, when the suit was filed, suddenly the atty general goes to the media and releases comments like: there were close-ups of thier genitials which is why we see these parents as sick.
Amazing…all the while this was going on, a judge found nothing out of the ordinary and ordered CPS to return the kids. That took only 1 week for the court order, but 3 more weeks for CPS to comply.
The aftermath comments to the media are merely a ploy to cover thier collective asses and hope to derail the suit’s settlement amount. Its about reducing thier liability only.
Nothing was wrong with those photos. They were parents enjoying the art which is children covered in bubbles!!!!!!!!!!
There is this lady who was watching her neighbors for about a hour the bus stop was in front of her house the kids parents had to leave to go to work before the kids went to school somebody went and snitch on that kind person the state told this mother to quit watching the neighbor kids or she was going to be fine d or go to jail who ever told on this person had nothing better to do and snitch on this person the person watch the neighbors kids out of the kindness of her heart and she gets in trouble because of it I think the state was mad because the state wasn’t getting any money from it I read this in the newspaper and it was on tv today. the state people are so evil.
It’s my opinion that we are working towards a state were children are raised by the state. Something along the lines of Nazi Germany.
I don’t like Walmart, because the lines take forever. Maybe this is why the children are having a melt down. I know I’ve been there before, waiting forever in a line that doesn’t move and I want to have a melt down. Thanks for the info, another reason to stay away from Walmart.

Nudist CLUBS should never be referred to as colonies. There is no “sick crap” going on at nudist parks. Therefore CPS is just as likely to misrepresent them in court and label a member unfit.

The concerted attack on our human rights is not limited to the grossly unconstitutional ,destructive actions by the terrorists from the ranks of CPS , the ”educational” institutions of this free land have currently the power to imprison you if you take your child to a funeral of a life long friend,dear neighbour , grandma , or any person of value in your life except the immediate family , otherwise it is an unexcused absence and you,as a parent are guilty of an infraction ,liable - if you don’t cow to them and beat your breast - to serve some time in jail.In about that time your children can be taken by the juvie court , any referee can do it, and trown as a tasty morsel to the local CPS. But you can not worry about that,you have to go and live your life not as an indentured servant ,who’s destiny is to provide the employment for drows of useless bueroucrats , but as a human being endowed by the Creator of his rights.
I am suprised that it is not mentioned here , WallMart is basically innocent of any wrong doing here , no one mentions that we have in existence in this country now the same institution that flowrished wonderfully in Stalinist Russia, East Germany ,Naci regime and other flowers of human experience - such as (under many names) the Mandated Reporters. Any professional caretaker in our free Society is bound ,by law, to report any SUSPICION of child abuse what so ever or they will be legally liable , punishable by imprisement ,fines,loss of licenses and everything else under the sun if they don’t report !! What do you think they will do ? The 26.2% of our population has one or another form of mental or/and emotional disorder , the wisdom,kindness,rationallity is a dirty word to many and an unknown one to the rest. By the way ,my children were stolen from me by San Joaquin Co. Calif. CPS with ruthless assistence from the County Sheriffs Deputies , they were forced continuesly for 10 months to agree to fabricated allegations against me . They did not do that. We were denied any contact with each other,while CPS was planning on adopting them out because they are smart and beautiful,cheerful and kind to others.Good selling points. After two years of fight and learning I got them back . Damaged but mine.
The main allegation against me raised by 73 y old lonely woman was that I have ordered them to remove their bathing suits so i can take nude pictures of them by the creek while we were camping .
We were not camping , they had no bathing suits that day , I had not taken any nude pictures of them . CPS or any other nut house care takers did not have any photos of this sort because THEY DID NOT EXIST !! They (and the judge Parker of the Stocton Sup. Court ) took them anyway and nearly killed us all in process.

My children were taken by corrupt cps agents and a judge who a year before praised how cps needs to learn from their mistakes only to take them away because i refused to give in to them. i feel for these others. T. your story sounds very similar to mine. Corrupt judges, caseworkers with NO psych or drug testing themselves, yet willing to hurl accusations at us parents!, lesbians who have major control issues (and working at cps to boot!), and we are dealing with a nation of apathy, except for sites like these where our voices can be heard. MASS MEDIA WAKE UP!
The biggest crime one can commit is contempt of a cps worker. They’ll hate you forever. They will get their minions to flag you & anything you post on the internet. This goes way beyond EVIL. This is sadly how things are going until the good people finally have our day!

that CPS caused disasters are in line with ”law enforcement” dropping baggies of ground up wallboard into citizens cars to charge them with a possesion of cocaine (in Texas) , plea bargainings with criminals who thru their false testimonies in court ,provide district attorneys with ”proof” of their ”good” work to be reelected again , all the way down to county ”code enforcement”official s jumping fences of residences to gather ”evidence” against their fellow neighbours who are not on county pay roll. We do have our Constitution an in the absence of a true and responsive Goverment we have to rely on it ,with the help of the Judicial branch or without it , if it doesn’t follow the law.
I was always amazed that in this society where people can shoot each other over a parking spot or a loss of a job practically no one will take an aim at an entity who ,without any good reason, stole their flesh and blood , the only one source of visiable purpose of life,their children,lack them up,prostituted them to chain of psychologists ,therapist , social workers, medical ”proffesionals” ,the court lankey’s , fosteres - all for habitual maintanence of the existance of the agency who’s ”inventor” ,Walter Mondale’(may he turn around in his grave) warn us about ,that it COULD became what it fully HAS BECAME now , lawless and damaging cult, who presents more dangers to American children then tobacoo,alcohol,drugs,and more combine.
Mine explanation why some of the CPS workers walk this earth unmolested , is that while the CPS lies ,steals ,manipulates ,falsifyes ,witholds ,denys, and misiss the point of their very existence , it targets nearly exclusively the families who’s members are basically wholesome human beings,with their faults and problems , but with their spine in place straight,who will follow the law,not lie in court ,will attempt to be a good citizens ,who to their detriment will say ,,I don’t know ,,
while their ”opponent” (and that is who CPS sees itself to be) will simply lie ,falsify,manipulate etc.In court of law , if you don’t deny something,it becames an evidence and you are doomed ,by a lazy ,uncaring,subservient judge , and by genetically altered robots of CPS. When pendeluum swings it unfortunatelly mows down everybody ,guilty and innocent alike ,like the revolution in Russia did,including and the formost the victors .That is the nature and results of violence in human terms .The loving ,,thy neighbour ,, changes the landscape , and introduces completely different set of laws.Freeing our hearts of hatred is a more then a good start , it leaves us with enough energy to inquire , observe ,understand and act correctly at a proper time.

I agree with everything everyone here is saying. It is happening to me right now. But, we can complaint all we want but until we unite and do something about it, this will only get worse. I am fighting with dcs and with my own child who don’t want to come home because she has the freedom that I will never allow. She is 13th, dating a 19 yrs old gang member, didn’t graduated from jr high and skipping classes and wondering around the streets all day, foster father having a very close!?!?relationship with her, but the state is protecting her more than I had in 13th yrs. A rural Coleman teen accused of killing a brother has undergone a psychological examination, but results are not expected for at least two weeks.
No trial date has been set for Steven Pribbernow, 15.
Pribbernow was scheduled to undergo a psychological evaluation at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry in Washtenaw County last week, Midland County Prosecutor Michael Carpenter said Thursday.
Results, to determine if Pribbernow understands the charges against him and can aid in his own defense, could take two weeks or longer, Carpenter said.
No court dates have been scheduled because results of the examination must be reviewed and a determination made, Carpenter said.
Pribbernow, who is charged with one open count of murder and three counts of assault with intent to commit murder, is accused of stabbing his 17-year-old adoptive brother, Justin, at the family’s home in rural Coleman Aug. 4.
Multiple stabbings had been reported in the early morning hours at the Pribbernow home at 5180 McNally Road in Geneva Township.
Pribbernow, who is being charged as an adult, faces life in prison if convicted.
His mother, Jessica Pribbernow and her husband, Joshua Saylor, own the home on McNally Road near Lewis Road where the rampage happened.
The household was a mix of Jessica Pribbernow’s biological and adopted children.
Neighbors described Jessica Pribbernow as a good mother who wants to make life better for her children.
She had adopted the children of an extremely troubled family in order to give them a better life, a neighbor said.
Court documents indicate that was a tough assignment.
The parental rights of that family, all boys, were terminated by Arenac County in 2003 for a variety of reasons.
Three other family members were injured when Pribbernow allegedly attacked them with a knife.
Justin Pribbernow died at the home, where the family moved from Sanford about two years before the incident.
Saylor, 32, and two of the couples’ children, Kody, 13, and Kevin, 15, were also injured.
Carpenter opted to charge Steven Pribbernow as an adult because of the seriousness of the offense and other aggravating factors.

15-year-old Steven J. Pribbernow sits in the Midland County Courthouse during his arraignment on Tuesday afternoon. Pribbernow is accused of stabbing and killing a 17-year-old as well as injuring three others. He is charged as an adult in the case.
Officials are mum on what was behind a Tuesday morning stabbing that left a 17-year-old dead, three hurt, and a 15-year-old boy charged with murder.
Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. is charged as an adult in the case, and faces one count of open murder plus three counts of assault with the intent to murder.
Officials released the names of the victims in the attack at a Geneva Township home late this morning. The Daily News had already learned those names though court documents not filed in this case and through comments made to the paper’s website.
Killed was 17-year-old Justin Steven Pribbernow. Injured were Kody Christopher Pribbernow, 13 1/2; Kevin David Pribbernow, 15; and Joshua Saylor, 32. Saylor was taken by FlightCare to the St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital where he was in fair condition this morning. Kody was believed taken to MidMichigan Medical Center, where a spokeswoman said he was not listed in the hospital’s patient directory. Kevin was believed taken to Covenant HealthCare, and a spokeswoman said he was not listed as a patient. All three underwent surgery, officials have said.
At Steven Pribbernow’s arraignment, conducted late Tuesday afternoon, Midland County Prosecutor Mike Carpenter asked District Judge Stephen P. Carras to deny bail and place Pribbernow in the county jail rather than the Juvenile Care Center. Carpenter said considering the ages of the juvenile victims, Pribbernow presents a risk to other youngsters at the detention center.
Midland attorney Dan Duke has been appointed by the court as defense attorney, and said he discussed the prosecutor’s request with Pribbernow.
“I think at the present time … it makes sense,” to place his client in the jail, Duke said.
Pribbernow was brought to the hearing, his hands cuffed behind his back, scratches visible on his right forearm. He wore a baggy dark blue patterned polo shirt and green slacks that emphasized his small stature, facing Carras as he read the charges. At the third count, Pribbernow looked down.

Both open murder and assault with the intent to commit murder are punishable by up to life in prison. In making the decision to charge the teen as an adult, Carpenter said he took into account the seriousness of the case as well as other aggravating factors.
Carpenter said laws regarding juveniles dictate that youngsters must be charged within 24 hours of the offense. He said family dynamics include numerous children, a divorce and adoptions — the records of which are sealed as a matter of customary court rules. The home is not a foster care provider, local court officials said.
Joshua Saylor is the husband of Jessica Pribbernow, who is the adoptive mother of five boys and the biological mother of two girls with her ex-husband. All of the children, including the adopted boys, share her last name. State appeals court documents show the adopted boys were taken away from their biological parents due to neglect and failure to protect. They share one biological mother; the oldest three share the same biological father, while the youngest two have a different biological father.
Jessica Pribbernow’s ex-husband lives in the Farwell area, officials said in court. They were unable to contact him before the arraignment.
Midland Public Schools Superintendent Carl Ellinger said some of the Pribbernow children attend schools within the district. He said “a couple” of them attend MPS elementary schools, and one attends a middle school.
“It’s a very difficult situation for the family and the communities involved,” Ellinger said.
“From what I know … they’re good kids,” Ellinger continued. “Just a nice, normal family coming to the school system.”
The stabbing was reported at 6:30 a.m. by Jessica Pribbernow, bringing all on-duty sheriff’s deputies, the Coleman Community Fire Department, four ambulances from MidMichigan Medical Center EMS, Chief Deputy Medical Examiner Dennis Wagner and the helicopter, which landed in the home’s front yard.
First responders were told to wait a distance from the home while deputies secured the scene before entering to render medical aid.
The suspect also was hurt, and was taken to MidMichigan after the incident. Midland County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Goodall said Pribbernow was taken into custody without incident and he did not know how the boy was hurt.
Goodall said the weapon was a knife, but he did not know what kind of knife.
There were family members inside the home who were not injured, and they were interviewed by a detective.
The home — a ranch with a basement and attached garage — is set back from the road, accessible by a gravel drive and ringed by a fence and pine trees. Technicians from the Michigan State Police Crime Lab at Bridgeport also were at the scene collecting evidence.

Stabbing victims remain hospitalized

The events surrounding a fatal stabbing that occurred Tuesday morning at a Geneva Township home remain under investigation.
On Wednesday, Midland County Prosecutor Mike Carpenter declined to release details about what occurred. He said the people who know what happened — the victims — were traumatically injured, then endured surgery and had not yet spoken with investigators.
“The only person who knows for sure is the person who did it,” Carpenter said this morning, adding that person has been charged and has the right to not speak with investigators. He also said he has not yet received the full written report from investigators on the stabbing.
Carpenter was working to uncover the dynamics of the family, which includes a divorce and a remarriage, biological children from the first marriage and multiple adoptions.
Charged as an adult in the case is 15-year-old Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. He faces one count of open murder and three counts of assault with the intent to commit murder. Both are felonies punishable by up to life in prison. He was arraigned Tuesday and is being held without bond in the county jail. The case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 18.

Joshua Saylor, 32, remains in fair condition this morning at the St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital, where he was taken by FlightCare after the incident. It is believed that Kevin David Pribbernow, 15, was taken to Covenant HealthCare, and Kody Christopher Pribbernow, 13 1/2, was taken to the MidMichigan Medical Center. However, the boys are not listed as patients.
Principal Mary Pitchford of Coleman High School said Justin Pribbernow “was a respectful, nice young man and a good student.” He attended Coleman schools at one point in time.
According to a blog set up by a family member, Justin was planning to join the U.S. Marine Corps this year. The site also asks for donations for the family, which does not have life insurance. The site is http://jessicaandjoshdonate.blogspot.com/
Some of the family’s children also attended Midland Public Schools. Superintendent Carl Ellinger said, “From what I know …they’re good kids.”
“Just a nice normal family coming to the school system.”

i dont feel that steven did the killing of justin pribbernow do to i spoke with someone who told me that jessica has been truely mean with all of her adopted kids especially kody to she doesnt want him .she was making him stay in his bedroom alot and keeps him separate from the other kids alot from doing anything that they do for actives like the ice cream party doing that was going on at the school for her girls where she had aloud the rest of the kids to partake in .she blame steven and the rest of the kids for what happen with her girls .she causes all kinds of trouble at the schools and throws fits if anyone donts give her what she wants .if she takes the kids any where she makes kody sit in the car or van and doesnt aloud him to get out he has to stay put well the rest are aloud to go with her in the school or other places .well they are home he is made to stay in his room in the basement of the house for most of the day .she shows special treatment to her son tristen and her girls and treats the adopted other kids like their in jail.they cant eat until she feels like feeding them .they are praide out around people that come to her house and told what their names are well they stand in a line in front of her and who ever it is she is showing them off to than she tells everything about their disabilities and whos got what father and who doesnt .she talks them down to everyone who will listen too her school doing ,games ,ever place she goes with them .she tells everyone that she hates kody and wishes she never adopted him or his brothers .that they have all been nothing but a heartache to her and her family .kody had back surgey and she made him sleep on the floor and well he would cry out in pain she would yell at him to shut up and stop crying .she tried to turn the adoption around and get rid of the kids but the state wouldnt let her .and there is so much more ……..and the friends of her are up holding her in being mean with these kids by not helping them to get them away from her .

from what i understand that neither one of the parents have a job and are living off the adopted kids money from the state ,and are going to college as well off the kids money .she signs up for everything in the school and community and only does a small amount of anything she signs up for .she made kody go to a different school than his brothers do too she told everyone that his brother were a shamed of him and didn’t want people to know he was apart of their lives .Joshua has gone after the older boys if they would stand up for kody with the way that both him and Jessica was treating kody .these parents need to be in jail for child abuse on the 5 adopted children .everyone knows what these kids have been through now it time to stand and save them .they cant fight back for them self .she has had one child run away on her at her daughters birthday party and had to cut the party short do to it .she was told by the female prosercurtor that she needed help when her son Paul was going to jail on faults charges on her girls .her sister in law nor Joshua family like her do to her problems and her ex husband cant stand her either do to what he went through with her before their divorce .

we love you and your family too.I saw Kevin and Kody today standing in the hall of Siebert. They looked well but stood silent like little soldiers. I gHi there. We just picked up Emily from Siebert. The boys were not with Jessica today. She is no greiving mother that is for sure. She was yapping as always. I heard they moved to Mooreland street in Midland. That would mean she should move the girls to cook school but of course she would not do that. I wish she would. I had my phone on Video all ready to record them. I pick XXXXXXX up everyday so I will always try.
Well when Jessica came to our school she came in our class and just took over. The teacher could not even control her. She grabbed a little boy (XXXX XXXXXXX) by the arm and drug him into the hall and yelled at him. Then she made another boy cry and that was the wrong kid to upset. His mom is a principal at Jefferson. She would tell me my daughter needed to do this and that to improve her reading. The teacher did not tell me this Jessica did. She would do this to all of us. As if she was the teacher. She took over. She would stay in the class all day. She got into it with the librarian and would call her names to the kids. When a group of us got togeather and decided we could not handel seeing how mean she was to the boys and we did not want to hear her stories anymore We started not talking to her . . . . . I do not know an address. I have never heard the boys say anything. But it is her who has told us about making Steven sleep on the porch and there was something with Kody and he spilled blue stuff all over the floor and he was digging at the drywall and I cant remember what she said they did but she was so mean to him. I know he was kept in his room alot. She told us she did not want Kody but had to take him to get the others. I am surprised Steven did not tell them she was abusive to them. I do not know what happened that morn. If I hear I will let you know. Why isnt she being investigated?

We met with the principal and he agreed to try and put a stop to her but there is only so much he can do. Okay so When Paul got kicked out of school that morning he had been out in the
ditch since 5 am picking rocksbout of the ditch then had to go straight a kid
made fun of him and he got in a fight can u blame him? Those children are slaves
to her. She has said she won’t give them clean underwear unless they smell them
an they are clean if one were to wet the bed she would make them sleep in it.

Steve was a good man! I then worked at the mall and always seen her getting

job other than the kids, she bragged about the clothing allowence she got and

for her house because the state helped since she had foster kids. She told how
Paul and the other boys were molested and beat, how they were forced to have sex
with older women and you guys video taped it. How the boys would stay out in the
streets while you guys were in bars or in strip clubs that that’s why the boys

neglected them they starved the list goes on and on. I can see how much you care

Judge: Midland Co. teen competent to stand trial as adult

The 15-year-old boy charged as an adult in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred over the summer has been found competent to stand trial.
At a hearing held this morning, Midland County District Court Judge Stephen P. Carras received a copy of a report from the Center for Forensic Psychiatry that states Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. is competent to stand trial and assist in his own defense.
Pribbernow was charged with one count of open murder and three counts of assault with the intent to commit murder after the stabbing, which occurred on Aug. 4 at 5180 W. McNally Road in Geneva Township. Both open murder and assault with the intent to commit murder are punishable by up to life in prison.
Killed was 17-year-old Justin Steven Pribbernow. Injured were Kody Christopher Pribbernow, 13 1/2; Kevin David Pribbernow, 15; and Joshua Saylor, 32.
Pribbernow’s defense attorney, Dan Duke of Midland, said the results of the forensic examination relating to criminal competency — the ability to be held accountable for the crimes with which he is charged — is not yet complete. Duke also said an independent examination of Pribbernow is nearing completion.
Duke said a preliminary hearing in the case — which is for a judge to decide if there is probable cause to believe a crime was committed and that it was committed by the defendant — has been scheduled for Nov. 23.
there is a man that lives in coleman that stated her son paul use to work for him taken care of his horses .and he said that she was so mean with the kids that he hated to come to her house or evevn drive by her house because she would be out side jerking this kids by the arms and calling them name .and when her son paul would get paid she would take his money from him .this man said that everything that has been stated about jessica was true and you better believe it she is something else .

i am a good mother and iwant my kids back .the state took them 4 years ago and broke our civil rights and theirs as well and we want too fight back help us.we were told they wont take them from us they would work to keep them in the home and they had us sign a paper stating they would put programs in line that would do just that and never did .2 weeks after they 1st came out we lost the kids at the school as we sit in court the 1st time in front of the judge .we got threaten if we didnt plea to somethings in the paper work the kids were gone for good if we did they would work with us to keep our kids but they lied .we didnt hurt them .my youngiest boy received a dog chain scratch on his foot by the dog at my brothers house where we were staying well were getting things done to buy a new home for the family .i treated it and the school said it was bad and reported us he was healed when we went to court and the case worker lied to the judge and said it wasnt healed when the doctor treating him sent over a report stating he was so they took them before we got out of court that morning .in standish mi on nov.7th 2003.

Teen stabbed to death in adoptive home after DHS removed from natural parents
Faith Baden of Iosco County, Michigan had no idea that when she last talked to her son Justin Pribbernow, while he was on a Marines recruitment trip, that it would be the last time she would speak to him. “The hardest part is when I said goodbye to him, I didn’t know I was saying goodbye for good.”, says Faith. This is not a story about another soldiers death in a foreign land though. Justin died during an attack, allegedly by his brother, 15 year old Steve Pribbernow, which also left two brothers and their adoptive father seriously injured.
Faith Baden had five sons. While married to Paul McBride Jr the first three, Mitchel J McBride, the oldest, Paul (McBride) Pribbernow, and Justin (McBride) Pribbernow were born. The relationship between Faith and Paul deteriorated and they eventually divorced. Paul McBride Jr now lives in Flint, Michigan. Faith describes their relationship as “not good”.
Faith is now married to Kevin Baden whom she had two more sons with. They are Kevin (Baden) Pribbernow, age 15, and Kody (Baden) Pribbernow, age 13. However, the youngest four boys were removed from the care of Faith and Kevin after Paul McBride, Jr made an allegation that both Justin and Paul were being sexually abused by Faith. However Social Services found that this allegation was not true. This followed the previous conviction of Doug Bemis for molesting the boys. He is now serving a 43 year term for that abuse.
On May 19, 2004 the Standish Court in Arenac County determined that Faith and Kevin had failed to protect the boys from the abuse and had also allowed Kody to be medically neglected. The boys were adopted by Jessica (Pribbernow) Saylor who is married to Joshua Saylor who was also injured in the attack. In 2006 Jessica divorced from Steve Jeffery Pribbernow and the three youngest boys remained with her. Faith says that is when Jessica went to child welfare officials and ask that they take the children back but was told that she had adopted them and was to provide for their care until they reached the age of 18 years.
Also in the home, prior to the arrival of Faith’s sons, was Steve Pribbernow, age 15, whose father had been found stabbed to death in a river. Steve and his mother lived with his grandparents for awhile before they died. Steven then went into the system where he was eventually adopted by the Pribbernows. Jessica (Pribbernow) Saylor and Joshua Saylor had four boys living in the home at the time of the attack.
Jessica Pribbernow may not have been a model parent herself and there is some question as to whether she was fit to parent these children. As Faith tells it Jessica had a criminal record and her application to be a foster parent was denied. But with the help of a state senator, Family Lutheran Adoption Agency of Bay City, Michigan arranged for the adoption of the children.
Jessica had three biological children of her own. Along with Faith’s four boys and Steve that made eight children living in the three bedroom home. At the time of Justin’s death there were seven children living in the home.
Faith says that Jessica made it difficult for her to have communication with her children, not allowing them to have a telephone and maintaining rigid controls over their lives. She also says that her oldest son Paul had once told her that Justin told him that Jessica had been fondling him.
Although there were no outward indications that this may have been coming, Faith’s son Paul had told her that the other children needed to be removed from the Saylor house. There has been no information provided to me that Steven Pribbernow was on any medications but I have been told that his back was recently covered in bruises.
Faith and Kevin Baden had hoped for the return of their children. Although they were hoping to start a custody action some time back the estimated legal costs prevented them from going forward at the time. Faith wants all parents to know that CPS is not interested in doing what is best for children but getting the money for the state. Under Title IV-E of the Social Security Act states get incentive payments to have children taken from their natural parents and placed into an adoptive family.
Kevin and Kody suffered serious injuries in the attack including Kody’s loss of some fingers and damage to Kevin’s internal organs. Both boys have been released from the hospital and returned to the care of Jessica (Pribbernow) Saylor who apparently failed to protect the children in her care from being killed or seriously injured.
The Badens saw their son Paul, who is age 19, on Sunday 06 September. He told them that he had witnessed Jessica sexually molesting Justin and that she had also molested him with the assistance of Joshua who held him down. In 2006 Jessica accused Paul of molesting her biological daughter and he is currently serving a 56 month prison sentence.
I contacted Jessica Cokar of Midland County DHS and asked her what many are wondering; Why were children removed from their parents based on an allegation that they failed to protect them from sexual abuse and then adopted by someone who then alleges that her child was sexually abused and now has failed to protect one of the children from being stabbed to death and two others seriously injured. To be blunt, do you actually care about children or are you just in it for the federal incentive money?
Ms Cokar was asked for comment on September 4, 2009 but had no comment for this article. Midland County DHS did say this, “The Michigan Department of Human Services appreciates the time you have taken to share your thoughts.”
The Baden’s were not allowed to attend the funeral of their son and do not even know where he is buried. An officer of the Midland County Sheriff’s Department allegedly called the Baden’s and told them that they could not attend the funeral. Although the call appeared as “Midland County” on their caller ID, upon returning the call the Baden’s were told that the Department knows nothing of it.
The Badens would like for anyone who knows their children to let them know about the condition of their children and to also let their boys know that they want them home and are continuing to fight to bring them home.
Justin Pribbernow was a good student who played football, basketball and was in track. His plans were to enlist in the Marines upon completing high school. His 18th birthday would have been the day the Badens went to visit Paul in prison.

The state of Michigan took them 4 years ago and in doing so, violated our civil rights as well as our children’s civil rights. And we want to fight to get them back, but we need help.
We were told that our children wouldn’t be taken from us.We were told they would work with us, to keep our children in our home. They had us sign a paper stating they were going to put programs in place, in order for us to keep our children. These programs were never put into place.
Two weeks after cps first came out to our home, we were in court and appeared for the first time in front of a judge. At which time, during this court appearance, without our knowlege, our children were being taken into state custody while they were in school. This happened in Standish, MI on November 7th 2003.
We were told ( felt threatend,) that if we didn’t plea to some of the charges against us, that our children would be taken from us for good. And that if we agreed to the plea agreement, they would work with us, so that we could keep our children. But they lied to us.
We didn’t hurt our children. My youngest boy received a scratch on his foot that was caused by the chain that my brothers dog was tied up with outside. While I was treating his scratch, his school reported that it was not being properly treated, and reported us to cps.
His foot was healed when we went to court on Nov 7th 2003. The case worker lied to the court and said that it wasn’t healed. The doctor that was treating him, sent over a report stating his wound was healed. While we were pleading our case in court for the first time, our children were being taken into state custody without our knowledge.
I love my children very much, and want them back home with me. I am worried about their safety where they are currently staying.

UNREAL PEOPLE CAN GET THEIR KIDS TAKEN AWAY FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS YET YOU CAN GO TO A NUDIST COLONY AND HAVE GROWN ADULTS BE NAKED IN FRONT OF OTHER KIDS AND WHO KNOWS WHAT KIND OF SICK CRAP GOES ON AT THOSE PLACES. In our local walmart , if your kid throws a tantrum, they call 911 because it is of the mind set if your child isnt happy at the moment the parents are doing something to the kid. The also play million questions with you if your child is with you during public school hours, seem to be totally out of touch with the fact that a lot of families homeschool for various reason.
It has gotten so bad we are almost afraid to take our kids anywhere in public . Both are Bi Polar and ODD as well as severe adhd and you never know when the mood will change and they will have a manic fit. Society as a whole needs to get a grip. We give them life, we feed and cloth them, nurture them, guide them. What is iit going to take to stop this insanity? NOT every child that has a tantrum, or is shown in a bath time photo is being abused in any way. The government needs to get a grip and give us our parental rights back.

The same scenario played out in NJ a year or so ago wherein a grnadmother was arrested for a photo of a grandchild.
Criminal charges were dismissed. I don’t know what happened with DCFS

Actually since I live in AZ where this happened, I have followed the case closely. They are suing Walmart 1st and formost. The state attonry generals office secondly. For the entire month this family was broken, our atty general said nothing to the media about the photos. Then about a week ago, when the suit was filed, suddenly the atty general goes to the media and releases comments like: there were close-ups of thier genitials which is why we see these parents as sick.
Amazing…all the while this was going on, a judge found nothing out of the ordinary and ordered CPS to return the kids. That took only 1 week for the court order, but 3 more weeks for CPS to comply.
The aftermath comments to the media are merely a ploy to cover thier collective asses and hope to derail the suit’s settlement amount. Its about reducing thier liability only.
Nothing was wrong with those photos. They were parents enjoying the art which is children covered in bubbles!!!!!!!!!!

There is this lady who was watching her neighbors for about a hour the bus stop was in front of her house the kids parents had to leave to go to work before the kids went to school somebody went and snitch on that kind person the state told this mother to quit watching the neighbor kids or she was going to be fine d or go to jail who ever told on this person had nothing better to do and snitch on this person the person watch the neighbors kids out of the kindness of her heart and she gets in trouble because of it I think the state was mad because the state wasn’t getting any money from it I read this in the newspaper and it was on tv today. the state people are so evil.

It’s my opinion that we are working towards a state were children are raised by the state. Something along the lines of Nazi Germany.
I don’t like Walmart, because the lines take forever. Maybe this is why the children are having a melt down. I know I’ve been there before, waiting forever in a line that doesn’t move and I want to have a melt down. Thanks for the info, another reason to stay away from Walmart.

Nudist CLUBS should never be referred to as colonies. There is no “sick crap” going on at nudist parks. Therefore CPS is just as likely to misrepresent them in court and label a member unfit.

all this goes much,much deeper than great majority of us know.
We live in a police state of our own making and allowing . The least capable people,the emotionally weakest,mentaly disabled are in majority of positions of power.Every time some crime (and those certainly are crimes!) is commited by the agents of what we out of ignorance call the goverment and the victims - the parents do not fight back to the end with everything they got ,if they don’t lean on Amedments of our Constitution,common sense , decency , their families , the other victims they meet at the ”halls of justice” of the juvenile courts, friends ,neighbours , teachers , and Linda Martin - our situation as a society get’s worse . The concerted attack on our human rights is not limited to the grossly unconstitutional ,destructive actions by the terrorists from the ranks of CPS , the ”educational” institutions of this free land have currently the power to imprison you if you take your child to a funeral of a life long friend,dear neighbour , grandma , or any person of value in your life except the immediate family , otherwise it is an unexcused absence and you,as a parent are guilty of an infraction ,liable - if you don’t cow to them and beat your breast - to serve some time in jail.In about that time your children can be taken by the juvie court , any referee can do it, and trown as a tasty morsel to the local CPS. But you can not worry about that,you have to go and live your life not as an indentured servant ,who’s destiny is to provide the employment for drows of useless bueroucrats , but as a human being endowed by the Creator of his rights.
I am suprised that it is not mentioned here , WallMart is basically innocent of any wrong doing here , no one mentions that we have in existence in this country now the same institution that flowrished wonderfully in Stalinist Russia, East Germany ,Naci regime and other flowers of human experience - such as (under many names) the Mandated Reporters. Any professional caretaker in our free Society is bound ,by law, to report any SUSPICION of child abuse what so ever or they will be legally liable , punishable by imprisement ,fines,loss of licenses and everything else under the sun if they don’t report !! What do you think they will do ? The 26.2% of our population has one or another form of mental or/and emotional disorder , the wisdom,kindness,rationallity is a dirty word to many and an unknown one to the rest. By the way ,my children were stolen from me by San Joaquin Co. Calif. CPS with ruthless assistence from the County Sheriffs Deputies , they were forced continuesly for 10 months to agree to fabricated allegations against me . They did not do that. We were denied any contact with each other,while CPS was planning on adopting them out because they are smart and beautiful,cheerful and kind to others.Good selling points. After two years of fight and learning I got them back . Damaged but mine.
The main allegation against me raised by 73 y old lonely woman was that I have ordered them to remove their bathing suits so i can take nude pictures of them by the creek while we were camping .
We were not camping , they had no bathing suits that day , I had not taken any nude pictures of them . CPS or any other nut house care takers did not have any photos of this sort because THEY DID NOT EXIST !! They (and the judge Parker of the Stocton Sup. Court ) took them anyway and nearly killed us all in process.

My children were taken by corrupt cps agents and a judge who a year before praised how cps needs to learn from their mistakes only to take them away because i refused to give in to them. i feel for these others. Corrupt judges, caseworkers with NO psych or drug testing themselves, yet willing to hurl accusations at us parents!, lesbians who have major control issues (and working at cps to boot!), and we are dealing with a nation of apathy, except for sites like these where our voices can be heard. Being ”popular” in this strange way may make someone in the system listen and read what I know to be the truth and maybe allow it to enter their mind and heart , and understand that it’s five past twelve and we are in this sinking boat together , I and them,
that CPS caused disasters are in line with ”law enforcement” dropping baggies of ground up wallboard into citizens cars to charge them with a possesion of cocaine (in Texas) , plea bargainings with criminals who thru their false testimonies in court ,provide district attorneys with ”proof” of their ”good” work to be reelected again , all the way down to county ”code enforcement”official s jumping fences of residences to gather ”evidence” against their fellow neighbours who are not on county pay roll. We do have our Constitution an in the absence of a true and responsive Goverment we have to rely on it ,with the help of the Judicial branch or without it , if it doesn’t follow the law.
I was always amazed that in this society where people can shoot each other over a parking spot or a loss of a job practically no one will take an aim at an entity who ,without any good reason, stole their flesh and blood , the only one source of visiable purpose of life,their children,lack them up,prostituted them to chain of psychologists ,therapist , social workers, medical ”proffesionals” ,the court lankey’s , fosteres - all for habitual maintanence of the existance of the agency who’s ”inventor” ,Walter Mondale’(may he turn around in his grave) warn us about ,that it COULD became what it fully HAS BECAME now , lawless and damaging cult, who presents more dangers to American children then tobacoo,alcohol,drugs,and more combine.
Mine explanation why some of the CPS workers walk this earth unmolested , is that while the CPS lies ,steals ,manipulates ,falsifyes ,witholds ,denys, and misiss the point of their very existence , it targets nearly exclusively the families who’s members are basically wholesome human beings,with their faults and problems , but with their spine in place straight,who will follow the law,not lie in court ,will attempt to be a good citizens ,who to their detriment will say ,,I don’t know ,,
while their ”opponent” (and that is who CPS sees itself to be) will simply lie ,falsify,manipulate etc.In court of law , if you don’t deny something,it becames an evidence and you are doomed ,by a lazy ,uncaring,subservient judge , and by genetically altered robots of CPS. When pendeluum swings it unfortunatelly mows down everybody ,guilty and innocent alike ,like the revolution in Russia did,including and the formost the victors .That is the nature and results of violence in human terms .The loving ,,thy neighbour ,, changes the landscape , and introduces completely different set of laws.Freeing our hearts of hatred is a more then a good start , it leaves us with enough energy to inquire , observe ,understand and act correctly at a proper time.

I agree with everything everyone here is saying. It is happening to me right now. But, we can complaint all we want but until we unite and do something about it, this will only get worse. I am fighting with dcs and with my own child who don’t want to come home because she has the freedom that I will never allow. She is 13th, dating a 19 yrs old gang member, didn’t graduated from jr high and skipping classes and wondering around the streets all day, foster father having a very close!?!?relationship with her, but the state is protecting her more than I had in 13th yrs. yes i would like to be known that Steven j.pribbernow isn’t our son .and that our kids are Mitchell j.McBride ,Paul(McBride)pribbernow,Justin(McBride)pribbernow,Kevin(baden)pribbernow,kody(baden)pribbernow .we are not bad people and this is really sad that we are being pulled through the mud for something that had nothing to do with us .yes we lost our kids but it wasn’t because we were bad parents as everyone is being told .it was for far less than what has happen with this family on this case with Steven j.pribbernow .there has been so much that has came out on this family is for why they and their friends are trying to put the blame on us and its not going to work we are not at fault .what problems we may of had as a family had nothing to do with this .that caused my son Justin to dead ,or his 2 little brothers to get hurt either .it lies with in their home not ours. ”

A rural Coleman teen accused of killing a brother has undergone a psychological examination, but results are not expected for at least two weeks.
No trial date has been set for Steven Pribbernow, 15.
Pribbernow was scheduled to undergo a psychological evaluation at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry in Washtenaw County last week, Midland County Prosecutor Michael Carpenter said Thursday.
Results, to determine if Pribbernow understands the charges against him and can aid in his own defense, could take two weeks or longer, Carpenter said.
No court dates have been scheduled because results of the examination must be reviewed and a determination made, Carpenter said.
Pribbernow, who is charged with one open count of murder and three counts of assault with intent to commit murder, is accused of stabbing his 17-year-old adoptive brother, Justin, at the family’s home in rural Coleman Aug. 4.
Multiple stabbings had been reported in the early morning hours at the Pribbernow home at 5180 McNally Road in Geneva Township.
Pribbernow, who is being charged as an adult, faces life in prison if convicted.
His mother, Jessica Pribbernow and her husband, Joshua Saylor, own the home on McNally Road near Lewis Road where the rampage happened.
The household was a mix of Jessica Pribbernow’s biological and adopted children.
Neighbors described Jessica Pribbernow as a good mother who wants to make life better for her children.
She had adopted the children of an extremely troubled family in order to give them a better life, a neighbor said.
Court documents indicate that was a tough assignment.
The parental rights of that family, all boys, were terminated by Arenac County in 2003 for a variety of reasons.
Three other family members were injured when Pribbernow allegedly attacked them with a knife.
Justin Pribbernow died at the home, where the family moved from Sanford about two years before the incident.
Saylor, 32, and two of the couples’ children, Kody, 13, and Kevin, 15, were also injured.
Carpenter opted to charge Steven Pribbernow as an adult because of the seriousness of the offense and other aggravating factors.

15-year-old Steven J. Pribbernow sits in the Midland County Courthouse during his arraignment on Tuesday afternoon. Pribbernow is accused of stabbing and killing a 17-year-old as well as injuring three others. He is charged as an adult in the case.
Officials are mum on what was behind a Tuesday morning stabbing that left a 17-year-old dead, three hurt, and a 15-year-old boy charged with murder.
Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. is charged as an adult in the case, and faces one count of open murder plus three counts of assault with the intent to murder.
Officials released the names of the victims in the attack at a Geneva Township home late this morning. The Daily News had already learned those names though court documents not filed in this case and through comments made to the paper’s website.
Killed was 17-year-old Justin Steven Pribbernow. Injured were Kody Christopher Pribbernow, 13 1/2; Kevin David Pribbernow, 15; and Joshua Saylor, 32. Saylor was taken by FlightCare to the St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital where he was in fair condition this morning. Kody was believed taken to MidMichigan Medical Center, where a spokeswoman said he was not listed in the hospital’s patient directory. Kevin was believed taken to Covenant HealthCare, and a spokeswoman said he was not listed as a patient. All three underwent surgery, officials have said.
At Steven Pribbernow’s arraignment, conducted late Tuesday afternoon, Midland County Prosecutor Mike Carpenter asked District Judge Stephen P. Carras to deny bail and place Pribbernow in the county jail rather than the Juvenile Care Center. Carpenter said considering the ages of the juvenile victims, Pribbernow presents a risk to other youngsters at the detention center.
Midland attorney Dan Duke has been appointed by the court as defense attorney, and said he discussed the prosecutor’s request with Pribbernow.
“I think at the present time … it makes sense,” to place his client in the jail, Duke said.
Pribbernow was brought to the hearing, his hands cuffed behind his back, scratches visible on his right forearm. He wore a baggy dark blue patterned polo shirt and green slacks that emphasized his small stature, facing Carras as he read the charges. At the third count, Pribbernow looked down.

Both open murder and assault with the intent to commit murder are punishable by up to life in prison. In making the decision to charge the teen as an adult, Carpenter said he took into account the seriousness of the case as well as other aggravating factors.
Carpenter said laws regarding juveniles dictate that youngsters must be charged within 24 hours of the offense. He said family dynamics include numerous children, a divorce and adoptions — the records of which are sealed as a matter of customary court rules. The home is not a foster care provider, local court officials said.
Joshua Saylor is the husband of Jessica Pribbernow, who is the adoptive mother of five boys and the biological mother of two girls with her ex-husband. All of the children, including the adopted boys, share her last name. State appeals court documents show the adopted boys were taken away from their biological parents due to neglect and failure to protect. They share one biological mother; the oldest three share the same biological father, while the youngest two have a different biological father.
Jessica Pribbernow’s ex-husband lives in the Farwell area, officials said in court. They were unable to contact him before the arraignment.
Midland Public Schools Superintendent Carl Ellinger said some of the Pribbernow children attend schools within the district. He said “a couple” of them attend MPS elementary schools, and one attends a middle school.
“It’s a very difficult situation for the family and the communities involved,” Ellinger said.
“From what I know … they’re good kids,” Ellinger continued. “Just a nice, normal family coming to the school system.”
The stabbing was reported at 6:30 a.m. by Jessica Pribbernow, bringing all on-duty sheriff’s deputies, the Coleman Community Fire Department, four ambulances from MidMichigan Medical Center EMS, Chief Deputy Medical Examiner Dennis Wagner and the helicopter, which landed in the home’s front yard.
First responders were told to wait a distance from the home while deputies secured the scene before entering to render medical aid.
The suspect also was hurt, and was taken to MidMichigan after the incident. Midland County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Goodall said Pribbernow was taken into custody without incident and he did not know how the boy was hurt.
Goodall said the weapon was a knife, but he did not know what kind of knife.
There were family members inside the home who were not injured, and they were interviewed by a detective.
The home — a ranch with a basement and attached garage — is set back from the road, accessible by a gravel drive and ringed by a fence and pine trees. Technicians from the Michigan State Police Crime Lab at Bridgeport also were at the scene collecting evidence.

Stabbing victims remain hospitalized

The events surrounding a fatal stabbing that occurred Tuesday morning at a Geneva Township home remain under investigation.
On Wednesday, Midland County Prosecutor Mike Carpenter declined to release details about what occurred. He said the people who know what happened — the victims — were traumatically injured, then endured surgery and had not yet spoken with investigators.
“The only person who knows for sure is the person who did it,” Carpenter said this morning, adding that person has been charged and has the right to not speak with investigators. He also said he has not yet received the full written report from investigators on the stabbing.
Carpenter was working to uncover the dynamics of the family, which includes a divorce and a remarriage, biological children from the first marriage and multiple adoptions.
Charged as an adult in the case is 15-year-old Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. He faces one count of open murder and three counts of assault with the intent to commit murder. Both are felonies punishable by up to life in prison. He was arraigned Tuesday and is being held without bond in the county jail. The case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 18.
He was taken into custody after a 911 call brought Midland County Sheriff’s deputies and first responders to 5180 W. McNally Road. They found multiple victims, as well as the suspect.

Joshua Saylor, 32, remains in fair condition this morning at the St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital, where he was taken by FlightCare after the incident. However, the boys are not listed as patients.
Principal Mary Pitchford of Coleman High School said Justin Pribbernow “was a respectful, nice young man and a good student.” He attended Coleman schools at one point in time.

Some of the family’s children also attended Midland Public Schools. Superintendent Carl Ellinger said, “From what I know …they’re good kids.”

i dont feel that steven did the killing of justin pribbernow do to i spoke with someone who told me that jessica has been truely mean with all of her adopted kids especially kody to she doesnt want him .she was making him stay in his bedroom alot and keeps him separate from the other kids alot from doing anything that they do for actives like the ice cream party doing that was going on at the school for her girls where she had aloud the rest of the kids to partake in .she blame steven and the rest of the kids for what happen with her girls .she causes all kinds of trouble at the schools and throws fits if anyone donts give her what she wants .if she takes the kids any where she makes kody sit in the car or van and doesnt aloud him to get out he has to stay put well the rest are aloud to go with her in the school or other places .well they are home he is made to stay in his room in the basement of the house for most of the day .she shows special treatment to her son tristen and her girls and treats the adopted other kids like their in jail.they cant eat until she feels like feeding them .they are praide out around people that come to her house and told what their names are well they stand in a line in front of her and who ever it is she is showing them off to than she tells everything about their disabilities and whos got what father and who doesnt .she talks them down to everyone who will listen too her school doing ,games ,ever place she goes with them .she tells everyone that she hates kody and wishes she never adopted him or his brothers .that they have all been nothing but a heartache to her and her family .kody had back surgey and she made him sleep on the floor and well he would cry out in pain she would yell at him to shut up and stop crying .she tried to turn the adoption around and get rid of the kids but the state wouldnt let her .and there is so much more ……..and the friends of her are up holding her in being mean with these kids by not helping them to get them away from her .

from what i understand that neither one of the parents have a job and are living off the adopted kids money from the state ,and are going to college as well off the kids money .she signs up for everything in the school and community and only does a small amount of anything she signs up for .she made kody go to a different school than his brothers do too she told everyone that his brother were a shamed of him and didn’t want people to know he was apart of their lives .Joshua has gone after the older boys if they would stand up for kody with the way that both him and Jessica was treating kody .these parents need to be in jail for child abuse on the 5 adopted children .everyone knows what these kids have been through now it time to stand and save them .they cant fight back for them self .she has had one child run away on her at her daughters birthday party and had to cut the party short do to it .she was told by the female prosercurtor that she needed help when her son Paul was going to jail on faults charges on her girls .her sister in law nor Joshua family like her do to her problems and her ex husband cant stand her either do to what he went through with her before their divorce .

we love you and your family too.I saw Kevin and Kody today standing in the hall of Siebert. They looked well but stood silent like little soldiers. I gHi there. We just picked up Emily from Siebert. The boys were not with Jessica today. She is no greiving mother that is for sure. She was yapping as always. I heard they moved to Mooreland street in Midland. That would mean she should move the girls to cook school but of course she would not do that. I wish she would. I had my phone on Video all ready to record them. I pick XXXXXXX up everyday so I will always try.
Well when Jessica came to our school she came in our class and just took over. The teacher could not even control her. She grabbed a little boy (XXXX XXXXXXX) by the arm and drug him into the hall and yelled at him. Then she made another boy cry and that was the wrong kid to upset. His mom is a principal at Jefferson. She would tell me my daughter needed to do this and that to improve her reading. The teacher did not tell me this Jessica did. She would do this to all of us. As if she was the teacher. She took over. She would stay in the class all day. She got into it with the librarian and would call her names to the kids. When a group of us got togeather and decided we could not handel seeing how mean she was to the boys and we did not want to hear her stories anymore We started not talking to her . . . . . I do not know an address. I have never heard the boys say anything. But it is her who has told us about making Steven sleep on the porch and there was something with Kody and he spilled blue stuff all over the floor and he was digging at the drywall and I cant remember what she said they did but she was so mean to him. I know he was kept in his room alot. She told us she did not want Kody but had to take him to get the others. I am surprised Steven did not tell them she was abusive to them. I do not know what happened that morn. If I hear I will let you know. Why isnt she being investigated?
Well she just feed off that. If I was talking to someone she would step in and interupt, she loves to be in peoples face. We met with the principal and he agreed to try and put a stop to her but there is only so much he can do. Last year when my older daughters would pick up XXXXXXX Jessica would always harass them so after school I stopped her and a matter of fact Justin was with her and I told her This was a warning and there would not be another but she better stay away from my kids. She mouthed something and walked off. We told Mr. V if our daughter was not put in another class and if we have one problem with her we will move our daughter and we will make sure the school board know why. My good friend that works at Jefferson said they had nothing but trouble with her. She is Evil. She stopped her husband from being close with his family. Joshes dad used to write paul in jail and she told him if he did not stop he would never hear from them. Trust me I am not her only enemy. Her sister in law Hates her. She is one of the most disliked people I know. I am going to a baseball game tonight but I will Keep in touch.

Okay so When Paul got kicked out of school that morning he had been out in the
ditch since 5 am picking rocksbout of the ditch then had to go straight a kid
made fun of him and he got in a fight can u blame him? Those children are slaves
to her. She has said she won’t give them clean underwear unless they smell them
an they are clean if one were to wet the bed she would make them sleep in it.
She would make them sleep outside. She went around telling eveyone about their
so called pasts. Whn she meant Josh she was gone all the Time he played
basketball with my husband and she was always at his games late at night 30
minutes from home with no kids you would always see her and Josh but no kids.
Steve was a good man! I then worked at the mall and always seen her getting
manicures and pedicures, highlights and shopping all the while never having a
job other than the kids, she bragged about the clothing allowence she got and
that she didn’t have to pay much
for her house because the state helped since she had foster kids. She told how
Paul and the other boys were molested and beat, how they were forced to have sex
with older women and you guys video taped it. How the boys would stay out in the
streets while you guys were in bars or in strip clubs that that’s why the boys
know how to dance well because you had them always in bars. Pretty much that you
neglected them they starved the list goes on and on. I can see how much you care
for your children and how much you will fight for them. Faith I do not know
where he is however if you keep my name a secret for now I’m sure I could figure
out for you, I will try my hardest in the morning no matter how hard it is to
hold my younger from telling people what I really think. I don’t know the story
of the day at all, I wish I knew something can u tell me anything of the day?
I’m out of state now so didn’t even get the news. Jessica thinks she is so hot!
She is
always bragging and flirting with everyone including the high school boys it’s

have known Jessica since 2005…. He was a
wonderful boy and I don’t believe for a second that he did what Jessica accused
him off. If he needs anything I would love to help him as well! I believe the
money was going to be up so she tried to do what she could to get rid of him,
she is always flashing the checks around that she gets from them . . . I don’t want you to think I’m some teenager. I have learned about jessicas punishments from her mouth

Judge: Midland Co. teen competent to stand trial as adult

The 15-year-old boy charged as an adult in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred over the summer has been found competent to stand trial.
At a hearing held this morning, Midland County District Court Judge Stephen P. Carras received a copy of a report from the Center for Forensic Psychiatry that states Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. is competent to stand trial and assist in his own defense.
Pribbernow was charged with one count of open murder and three counts of assault with the intent to commit murder after the stabbing, which occurred on Aug. 4 at 5180 W. McNally Road in Geneva Township. Both open murder and assault with the intent to commit murder are punishable by up to life in prison.
Killed was 17-year-old Justin Steven Pribbernow. Injured were Kody Christopher Pribbernow, 13 1/2; Kevin David Pribbernow, 15; and Joshua Saylor, 32.
Pribbernow’s defense attorney, Dan Duke of Midland, said the results of the forensic examination relating to criminal competency — the ability to be held accountable for the crimes with which he is charged — is not yet complete. Duke also said an independent examination of Pribbernow is nearing completion.
Duke said a preliminary hearing in the case — which is for a judge to decide if there is probable cause to believe a crime was committed and that it was committed by the defendant — has been scheduled for Nov. 23.

there is a man that lives in coleman that stated her son paul use to work for him taken care of his horses .and he said that she was so mean with the kids that he hated to come to her house or evevn drive by her house because she would be out side jerking this kids by the arms and calling them name .and when her son paul would get paid she would take his money from him .this man said that everything that has been stated about jessica was true and you better believe it she is something else .

At 9:00am on October 1, 2009, faith and kevin baden said…i dont feel that steven did the killing of justin pribbernow do to i spoke with someone who told me that jessica has been truely mean with all of her adopted kids especially kody to she doesnt want him .she was making him stay in his bedroom alot and keeps him separate from the other kids alot from doing anything that they do for actives like the ice cream party doing that was going on at the school for her girls where she had aloud the rest of the kids to partake in .she blame steven and the rest of the kids for what happen with her girls .she causes all kinds of trouble at the schools and throws fits if anyone donts give her what she wants .if she takes the kids any where she makes kody sit in the car or van and doesnt aloud him to get out he has to stay put well the rest are aloud to go with her in the school or other places .well they are home he is made to stay in his room in the basement of the house for most of the day .she shows special treatment to her son tristen and her girls and treats the adopted other kids like their in jail.they cant eat until she feels like feeding them .they are praide out around people that come to her house and told what their names are well they stand in a line in front of her and who ever it is she is showing them off to than she tells everything about their disabilities and whos got what father and who doesnt .she talks them down to everyone who will listen too her school doing ,games ,ever place she goes with them .she tells everyone that she hates kody and wishes she never adopted him or his brothers .that they have all been nothing but a heartache to her and her family .kody had back surgey and she made him sleep on the floor and well he would cry out in pain she would yell at him to shut up and stop crying .she tried to turn the adoption around and get rid of the kids but the state wouldnt let her .and there is so much more ……..and the friends of her are up holding her in being mean with these kids by not helping them to get them away from her .

i am a good mother and iwant my kids back .the state took them 4 years ago and broke our civil rights and theirs as well and we want too fight back help us.we were told they wont take them from us they would work to keep them in the home and they had us sign a paper stating they would put programs in line that would do just that and never did .2 weeks after they 1st came out we lost the kids at the school as we sit in court the 1st time in front of the judge .we got threaten if we didnt plea to somethings in the paper work the kids were gone for good if we did they would work with us to keep our kids but they lied .we didnt hurt them .my youngiest boy received a dog chain scratch on his foot by the dog at my brothers house where we were staying well were getting things done to buy a new home for the family .i treated it and the school said it was bad and reported us he was healed when we went to court and the case worker lied to the judge and said it wasnt healed when the doctor treating him sent over a report stating he was so they took them before we got out of court that morning .in standish mi on nov.7th 2003.

Teen stabbed to death in adoptive home after DHS removed from natural parents
Faith Baden of Iosco County, Michigan had no idea that when she last talked to her son Justin Pribbernow, while he was on a Marines recruitment trip, that it would be the last time she would speak to him. “The hardest part is when I said goodbye to him, I didn’t know I was saying goodbye for good.”, says Faith. This is not a story about another soldiers death in a foreign land though. Justin died during an attack, allegedly by his brother, 15 year old Steve Pribbernow, which also left two brothers and their adoptive father seriously injured.
Faith Baden had five sons. While married to Paul McBride Jr the first three, Mitchel J McBride, the oldest, Paul (McBride) Pribbernow, and Justin (McBride) Pribbernow were born. The relationship between Faith and Paul deteriorated and they eventually divorced. Paul McBride Jr now lives in Flint, Michigan. Faith describes their relationship as “not good”.
Faith is now married to Kevin Baden whom she had two more sons with. They are Kevin (Baden) Pribbernow, age 15, and Kody (Baden) Pribbernow, age 13. However, the youngest four boys were removed from the care of Faith and Kevin after Paul McBride, Jr made an allegation that both Justin and Paul were being sexually abused by Faith. However Social Services found that this allegation was not true. This followed the previous conviction of Doug Bemis for molesting the boys. He is now serving a 43 year term for that abuse.
On May 19, 2004 the Standish Court in Arenac County determined that Faith and Kevin had failed to protect the boys from the abuse and had also allowed Kody to be medically neglected. The boys were adopted by Jessica (Pribbernow) Saylor who is married to Joshua Saylor who was also injured in the attack. In 2006 Jessica divorced from Steve Jeffery Pribbernow and the three youngest boys remained with her. Faith says that is when Jessica went to child welfare officials and ask that they take the children back but was told that she had adopted them and was to provide for their care until they reached the age of 18 years.
Also in the home, prior to the arrival of Faith’s sons, was Steve Pribbernow, age 15, whose father had been found stabbed to death in a river. Steve and his mother lived with his grandparents for awhile before they died. Steven then went into the system where he was eventually adopted by the Pribbernows. Jessica (Pribbernow) Saylor and Joshua Saylor had four boys living in the home at the time of the attack.
Jessica Pribbernow may not have been a model parent herself and there is some question as to whether she was fit to parent these children. As Faith tells it Jessica had a criminal record and her application to be a foster parent was denied. But with the help of a state senator, Family Lutheran Adoption Agency of Bay City, Michigan arranged for the adoption of the children.
Jessica had three biological children of her own. Along with Faith’s four boys and Steve that made eight children living in the three bedroom home. At the time of Justin’s death there were seven children living in the home.
Faith says that Jessica made it difficult for her to have communication with her children, not allowing them to have a telephone and maintaining rigid controls over their lives. She also says that her oldest son Paul had once told her that Justin told him that Jessica had been fondling him.
Although there were no outward indications that this may have been coming, Faith’s son Paul had told her that the other children needed to be removed from the Saylor house. There has been no information provided to me that Steven Pribbernow was on any medications but I have been told that his back was recently covered in bruises.
Faith and Kevin Baden had hoped for the return of their children. Although they were hoping to start a custody action some time back the estimated legal costs prevented them from going forward at the time. Faith wants all parents to know that CPS is not interested in doing what is best for children but getting the money for the state. Under Title IV-E of the Social Security Act states get incentive payments to have children taken from their natural parents and placed into an adoptive family.
Kevin and Kody suffered serious injuries in the attack including Kody’s loss of some fingers and damage to Kevin’s internal organs. Both boys have been released from the hospital and returned to the care of Jessica (Pribbernow) Saylor who apparently failed to protect the children in her care from being killed or seriously injured.
The Badens saw their son Paul, who is age 19, on Sunday 06 September. He told them that he had witnessed Jessica sexually molesting Justin and that she had also molested him with the assistance of Joshua who held him down. In 2006 Jessica accused Paul of molesting her biological daughter and he is currently serving a 56 month prison sentence.
I contacted Jessica Cokar of Midland County DHS and asked her what many are wondering; Why were children removed from their parents based on an allegation that they failed to protect them from sexual abuse and then adopted by someone who then alleges that her child was sexually abused and now has failed to protect one of the children from being stabbed to death and two others seriously injured. To be blunt, do you actually care about children or are you just in it for the federal incentive money?
Ms Cokar was asked for comment on September 4, 2009 but had no comment for this article. Midland County DHS did say this, “The Michigan Department of Human Services appreciates the time you have taken to share your thoughts.”
The Baden’s were not allowed to attend the funeral of their son and do not even know where he is buried. An officer of the Midland County Sheriff’s Department allegedly called the Baden’s and told them that they could not attend the funeral. Although the call appeared as “Midland County” on their caller ID, upon returning the call the Baden’s were told that the Department knows nothing of it.
The Badens would like for anyone who knows their children to let them know about the condition of their children and to also let their boys know that they want them home and are continuing to fight to bring them home.
Justin Pribbernow was a good student who played football, basketball and was in track. His plans were to enlist in the Marines upon completing high school. His 18th birthday would have been the day the Badens went to visit Paul in prison.

My name is Faith Baden, and I am the biological mother of Paul, Justin, Kevin and Kody. I am a good mother and I want my children back. The state of Michigan took them 4 years ago and in doing so, violated our civil rights as well as our children’s civil rights. And we want to fight to get them back, but we need help.
We were told that our children wouldn’t be taken from us.We were told they would work with us, to keep our children in our home. They had us sign a paper stating they were going to put programs in place, in order for us to keep our children. These programs were never put into place.
Two weeks after cps first came out to our home, we were in court and appeared for the first time in front of a judge. At which time, during this court appearance, without our knowlege, our children were being taken into state custody while they were in school. This happened in Standish, MI on November 7th 2003.
We were told ( felt threatend,) that if we didn’t plea to some of the charges against us, that our children would be taken from us for good. And that if we agreed to the plea agreement, they would work with us, so that we could keep our children. But they lied to us.
We didn’t hurt our children. My youngest boy received a scratch on his foot that was caused by the chain that my brothers dog was tied up with outside. While I was treating his scratch, his school reported that it was not being properly treated, and reported us to cps.
His foot was healed when we went to court on Nov 7th 2003. The case worker lied to the court and said that it wasn’t healed. The doctor that was treating him, sent over a report stating his wound was healed. While we were pleading our case in court for the first time, our children were being taken into state custody without our knowledge.
I love my children very much, and want them back home with me. I am worried about their safety where they are currently staying.
I am asking for your help.
