Child Protective Services laws and agencies are abusive to families and children. This site provides support and information to parents falsely accused of child abuse by Child Protective Services.

FightCPS does not advocate or condone violence or illiegal activities of any kind.

FightCPS is intended to help people learn enough about the law to be able to successfully defend themselves and their families against false accusations using legal documents and strategies that put parents in a stronger position when they go back to court.

For more information, see the FAQ.

Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.

Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.

Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.

Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.

Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.

CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.

Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.

It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

California: Foster Child Dies; Who is to Blame?

In Yreka California a foster child, Craig Britton, is dead. He was almost two years old. He had visitation with his family the day before and seemed fine then. His elderly foster parent didn’t check on him for eleven hours after putting him to bed at 9pm. When she went in to see him in the morning, he was dead. His stomach was empty except for some unidentified leaves.

Did he wake up in the middle of the night hungry, and eat a house plant? Nobody seems to know at this point.

Community members are distressed and confused. Why did this child die? Why was he taken from a loving mother? Why were the grandparents refused kinship care of their beloved grandson? Why are some people blaming the young parents because their non-abused child was in foster care?

Would you like to tell them how you feel about this? Go to: Mother, foster mother want answers in death of toddler by Mike Slizewski, published on September 17, 2009 in the Siskiyou Daily News.

  1. I am sorry for the real Mom as we all know CPS doest like reunifacation and now she will never have it ever. When will we begin to stop the abuse caused by DHHS and CPS and there corrupt judges who only believe the rich should have children. I am ashamed that the govt gets away with stuff like this, we have more injustice then most third world countries, yet here its all quietly swept under a rug. Lets hope they dont get away with it yet again.

  3. Hi, Did anyone hear of the case in Arizona where three children were taken for a month because of Wal-Mart? The parents got their filmed developed there and there were nude pictures of the kids in the bathtub. Hello, don’t most people take a bath nude! Wal-Mart contacted the police with concerns of child pornography. Thank God the parents got the children back and are now suing Wal-Mart and the town! Yeah!

  4. Do you think CPS will engrave “Best Interest Of The Child” on the tombstone?

  5. How do we fight and take down CPS? These people are disgusting and should be eliminated from society. Their crimes against families and children and so horrible I could write a book. Someone help organize a legal front to take down CPS and change the overblown child protection laws. Things are so out of control in this country. Sex and kids is a natural curiousity, spanking is healthy and since when are people proven guilty without proof? Yet all these things CPS is blind to, F**K CPS!!!!!

  6. CALIFORNIA has a wealth of attorneys and non-profit Law Clinics who can help in selected cases.

It also seems as if Calif has more Grand Juries convened over CPS’ misdeeds than any other state.

Please call the gentleman who wrote the article.

Fosters in their 70′s may not be a good fit for a toddler.

However, where are the relatives of this child?

  7. Thats the favorite word of the courts In the best interest of the child Has the courts ever ask the children what they want of course not because the courts ain’t going to like the answer the children may give them

  9. If you love your kids you will jump through all of the “hoops” that they give you. Do drug testing do parental classes get a good job put together a group of healthy people to be there for you when you do get your kids back. Also go get a therapist that can help you make the necessary changes to get your kids back. I know that fosterparents can do everything perfectly for fosterkids but it will never be enough the kids want to be with their parents and siblings I think that when kids have to go to fostercare the parents should have to go to therapy to help them sort things out.
I hope all works out for the best for you and your kids
