Child Protective Services laws and agencies are abusive to families and children. This site provides support and information to parents falsely accused of child abuse by Child Protective Services.
FightCPS does not advocate or condone violence or illiegal activities of any kind.
FightCPS is intended to help people learn enough about the law to be able to successfully defend themselves and their families against false accusations using legal documents and strategies that put parents in a stronger position when they go back to court.
For more information, see the FAQ.
Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.
Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

1. You or son must join Message Forum here. May take 2-3 days for Linda to approve.
2. You or son need to read this link:
Lawyers who take CPS cases.
http://fightcps.com/2007/08/10/lawyers-who-take-cps-defense-cases/
This site is California based and of of the over 150 attorneys mentioned, most are located in California.
3. Read this whole site. Your son has very real, enforceable rights here. Talk to one of the attorneys mentioned above in Point #2. CALL TODAY. You can sometimes get some guidance from the paralegal, or over the phone.
4. If the kids are taken to FC, your son may have an enforceable cause of action v DCFS, provided your son is clean. You need to follow up for your son.
Also read this site http://www.familyrights.us
Here’s another Calif site for you & son to look up and call the gentleman.

Next time, include your email addy. Use a fake name, and fake email addy to thwart DCFS in Calif.
Best. F.

are you interested at all in exposing a nursing home very suspect of abuse and money fraud. I have files and files that I have documented for more than 2 years. There is so much more that I do not want to expose in this email. It concerns a Nursing Home in Northern CA. Thank You for you time. Barbara Mickley

In 2008 I reported my ex husband for sexually abusing my 3 girls. When heard in Childrens Court it was turned around to my credability. Through a whole year of going to court no talk was done about the sexually abuse, but only about why I would force my girls to say this. In 2010 CPSS reopened the case against my current husband and myself for failure to protect our daughters. Two girls that have nothing to do with the ex. When the case reopened A detective stepped in to reopen the sexual abuse alligations. ( she believed it happened the first time and wanted to get him) The det dropped off a recording device to record all calls between myself and my ex, and my 1 daughter and him. During the conversation he admitted to doing this to the girls. An arrest was made and the D.A. dropped the case do to CPSS being involved. Now when we go to the court hearings never once has the sexual abuse been brought up, it has been about me making sure that I take 2 of the girls to all counseling and visits. I am the perpertrator again and he is the victim. CPSS will do whatever it takes to keep a case open even if everything the make up is false.

My husband was arrested for dv. We both was drunk. I woke up in the hospital. children with cps. They open a case on me. Keep threating to take my children. What should I do?
Comment by yolanda — August 29, 2011 @ 4:12 pm
Yolanda, if possible get the help of a lawyer right away. You must keep your children away from your husband. If they find you have contact with him they will probably take your children. If that happens it will be very hard to get the kids back because they’ll no longer trust you to keep them safe.

After a 8 year battle my daughter was taken from her gaurdian and placed as a 300 status in martinez California.I was informed of court Monday morning and am unsure what to expect….I’ve done phyc evals and parenting classes twice…I’m also fully disabled at 31 due to a spine injury and multiple surgeries and have a medical marijuana card in Nevada(where I live with new wife and 2 sons) any advice or help would be most welcome……thank you ….Dennis
Comment by dennis — September 23, 2011 @ 9:13 am
Dennis, so long as your wife isn’t using the marijuana and she’ll be the primary caretaker of your child, you could petition for custody. However most medical cannabis states will remove children from homes where they’re being supervised only by someone using the medication. You’re in a tough situation and I’m hoping that your effort to help your older daughter won’t cause the agency to try to detain your sons.
