Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Hi Linda,
Some new things are developing in Washington State. An attorney by the name of Gary Preble, is looking for cases to file lawsuits. All Washington Residents who think they have a sound case (not wish they had a sound case) need to gather together all of their documents (if they don’t have court/CPS documents then they need to get them) and contact him. Extended family or parents either one on this.

DYFS in NJ is not protecting my children from their father who is a batterer and he neglects, is abusive, snaps and has a long history of abuse. He coaches the children against me. Tells my 10 year old she never witnessed him beating me (he was indited by the Grand Jury). He accused me of assaulting him with a envelope and obtained a FRO against me as he self inflicted a laceration on his face. DYFS knows he is “not right” yet refuse to (even with a counselors recommendation) have supervised visits Therapeutic ..
The FRO he obtained ended up with me being arrested (long story) as the cops got tired of being called and him making constant police reports against me. My 2 kids ended up in foster care. Lucky for me the cops filmed the incident and when the Judge saw it my girl came home that day. DYFS was ordered to get a copy of the tape in Oct - never did and my girls deteriorated in foster care for 84 days. They did nothing to return my kids. They were physically and emotionally deteriorating in foster care and DYFS ignored my cries. They are extremely incompetent , which is really frightening. They do not have my childrens’ best interest at heart. I am in the process of putting together a history of abuse and my ex-husbands medical records showing he has anger issues and is mentally ill… this should be their job to provide for the judge. They r refusing to look at the evidence that shows he is dangerous and a threat to the safey of my children.

Susan Reilly, the caseworkers don’t think it is their job to help prove you innocent. That really is your job, since the court appointed attorneys usually won’t help in that way. I’m very happy to hear you’re compiling evidence and paperwork to take to court. That’s the way to win. Take so much evidence that the judge knows you’re serious about getting your kids home. If he ignores your evidence you can appeal.

Social services does not want to give the good parent the children back, they want to give the unstable parent the kids, for they know that if they give the unstable parent back the kids chances are the children will end up back in foster care, which means more federal funding to the county..they can make more money also if they adopt out our kids. It’s not about the children and it’s all about money. L.a. judges are getting payoffs from the county.look up the attorney Richard fine who is still sitting in jail because he had the guts enough to expose those frauds, so called judges..How do these judges are social workers live with themselves?

I dont know where to start,the pain that cps has caused me &my sons.my case is now going to the appla courts, i havent met new lawyer ,papers were filed back on may 1st.Ive had this lawyer that never return phone calls. you see when my boys where taken,I left the state knowing i could do better for my sons .never stop trying to make a brtter life for us .I passed 3 home studys. still wasnt good enough.I cant stop fighting.they now have taken all commuticaion.didnt get say anything to them.my one son wants me so much 7 they have locked him up,medicade him .i guess i just want to tell my story ,maybe find a way to fight back s tory f ightory.be find a way t

I understand the services this site is trying to provide fo families but you are lumping all families together stating “CPS Kidnaps Kids and false allegations.” Yes, there are situations when there maybe “false allegations” but what about the many parents who do abuse their children? Are they victims also for getitng caught? First, as a CPS social worker in CA I can only speak of my experience within my county but I must say, that we can not “kidnap” children- we alone have no authority by ourselves to remove children from the home- We must have a court order signed by a juvenile court judge- how is that kinapping? I can not try to get an order from the Judge based on a hunch or what I feel- there has to be substantial risk to a child and the Judge needs to agree-
Websites like this can help people but also give people the impression and that everyone CPS works with are victims- Have you ever seen a baby burnt by an iron? Have you seen a child who has brain damage because of being abused? Do you know children who have disclosed that they have been sexually abused in horrendous ways? Until you have actually worked in the field and have first hand knowledge of the reason CPS was designed, your blanket statments are negligent- Also, not all CPS Agencies are corrupt- There are bad social worker just like there are bad doctors and lawyers- Oh, and you know what- all the parents who perpetrated the above abuse on children, also thought they were VICTIMS of CPS-
- also if you don’t agree with a CPS court case decision, that’s why you have the RIGHT TO APPEAL. Just to let you know, the number of case in my county that been over turned by the appeals court is very minimal.

Samarah, not every accusation is false, but too many are. Every CPS court report I’ve ever read (and I’ve read quite a few) had false allegations, misunderstandings of fact, sloppy reporting of dates/names/addresses/you name it, and some contained outright lies. It left me with the feeling that CPS workers writing these court reports were highly unprofessional and didn’t care what they wrote as long as they won in court.
As for the use of the word “kidnap”… my dictionary defines this as “to seize and detain unlawfully and usually for ransom.” I think that “kidnapping under color of law” is a good term for what happens with CPS cases based on a false accusation. If a parent isn’t guilty of child abuse, but the child is taken anyway and a puppet court rubber stamps a social worker’s recommendation, that is “kidnapping under color of law”… and is definitely not truly LAWFUL because it is based on a lie.
You are an advocate of family destruction policies of our government, apparently. How do you feel about the many hundreds of children injured, damaged and KILLED in foster homes? How do you feel about the forced drugging of foster children so that the foster parents can get special needs payments and adoptive parents can get subsidy payments?
I don’t agree that children are better off in foster care. I agree with Joseph Doyle Jr., an economics professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management, who did a study proving that most kids are better off in troubled homes than in foster care.

There are laws in place to stop the “kidnaping”. Yes, a court order must be obtained. But was it obtained in my case…NOPE! Yes the law allowed me to speak in defense. BUt was I allowed to… NOPE! Did the judge presume guilt over innocents. YUP!
Not even ONE law in place to protect my family was adhered to!!! Not one!
THAT IS WHAT MAKES TAKING THE CHILDREN “KIDNAPPING”. NO COURT ORDER WAS ISSUED.
And had I lost? Big deal…I would get to appeal. Now what in h_ ll do you think would have happened there? If I was not allowed to speak in defense, and my attorney did ZIP to collect his paycheck…guaranteed…what good would an appeal do? If the judge is already biased, he’ll be just as biased in a appeal.
It would have been a total waste of time and money. And you know what…they would have added the “lack of money” after this, to the very reasons I could NOT have my grandkids!!!
I’d just give them more fuel for the fire.

Reading what that lady said truely upset me. Of course they all stick together and group up to protect one and another. As my case came to an end recently my social worker fought her hardest to make sure my son would never live with me. She won. She said that the father as well as his brother and sister would work with me to see my son. But do i??? NO! I call, I email and even when I am in town I get rejected. My son has gone downhill and does my social worker care? NO! You guys dont care about anything. I try and try to get my son removed but Im the bad parent. I was an easy target. Being 22 years old and on Welfare. I wasnt allowed to go to school, or get a job. When I did go to school I went for a few weeks and had to drop out. No one would watch my kids not even their own FATHER. I’m the one who stayed at home, I sacrificed everything for them and this is how I get treated? You left my son with an abusive family and its just OK right? You guys make me sick. The only way I ever get updates on my son is through a second hand source because the family refuses to let me know anything. When I did see my son he always had brusies, cuts on his face and was very abusive to anything he had in his hands. Now… I hear he doesnt cry, that he forgot to cry. HOW DOES A 4 YEAR OLD FORGET TO CRY? Nothing makes sense. Thanks for ruining my life really.

i cant believe that these people can do this to us. they take families and rip them apart. they took my 3 kids from me in 2003 made me fight tooth and nail to get them and in the end after 6 “family plans” completed they still did not return my kids to me. they gave my baby’s dad who was abusive my daughters and adopted my son out. they made me lose everything i worked for my home my furniture everything that belonged to my babies. they took ALL MY MONEY and screwed me majorly, to the point i just left the state cus if i didn’t i was going to kill myself. now im so far back in child support debt that i aint never going to get no where in life. i cant stop thinking bout them every minute of every day and nobody i know knows what i been thru so they don’t understand me.

Hi I am a Grand mother with two kids in foster care they are two and four years old. My mom recently found ot that the foster teaches at a Jewish Preschool and have strong suspicion that the four year old is going to this school and we are a Catholic family. CPS is well aware of this. I respect other peoples religious customs and beliefs and sincerely hope no one here is offended. The problem is CPS is blatantly ignoring our beliefs allowing my grandson to go to a school that is in direct conflict with the religious beliefs of his biological family and we worry that he might be very confused if and when he comes home. I thought there were laws in place that required cps to ensure that the religious upbringing that a child had while with the biological family had to continue in foster care. This is just the latest in a number of problems we have had with cps.

Lilypearl, check your state’s child welfare regulations. They may state that children should be placed with foster parents of the same religion as the natural family. If they do you can file for a state administrative hearing on this issue.

I have 6 children. My 3 year old son who has been tube fed since he was 2 months old was removed from my home 2 months ago. A doctor who only saw him once stated that his problems all accured because we do not feed him. This is not true and if they were so concerned why are all my other children still in my home.
The county attorney stated that if we agreed to services being placed in the home our son could come back, but the case worker has done nothing in 2 months and only met with us once. We feel that they are trying to keep him from us and as of now with having our other kids we can’t afford an attorney.
We live in Nebraska and both have court appointed attorneys. I have completed my phych eval which was not court order only asked of us. My husband is working on his and we have paid for this ourselves. We have kept all visits and they have now taken away us attending doctors appts because the foster family said I asked too many questions and asked about what we should do once he is home.
He was removed for his medical condition but we as his parents can’t attend doc appts. Even in the detention hearing the case worker stated we get nightly phone calls, one of us can attend appts and 4 visits a week. We now have also lost calling on sat evening because the foster mom don’t think it fits her schedule. Since when does a foster parent make all the choices. We live in Nebraska so if anyone knows someone who can help us please contact me.
