Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

I have left many messages requesting an attorney but have not heard from one. I am at the stage where I have had to appeal to eht Supreme court pro se but i will do anything I have to to get my granddaughter. (legally that is ) I do need help so if there is anyone who is in a position that can help me then I would appreaciate it very much!

After battling cps for years and losing custody of two of my own children my 8 year old grandson was taken today and placed in cps custody. His mom was deathly sick and while she was in the hospital and my other daughter was there they came in and did an inspection of the home and found it unfit for him. This was because my other daughter had to work and had no one to help. It was just the worse day for them to do this, and most of the time their apartment was clean.
They also falsified records from the school and the school said he was doing well. They desperately need an attorney who will help them fight this injustice.

I need help to get my baby girl back cps removed her on false evidence and place her with family leaving her there and closed the case i still have right and do see her every other weekend and i wish it was more time since i live 2 hrs away from her. I live in South Central Pa. and I’m in need of a good aggressive lawyer to fight against CPS.
They took my daughter nearly a year and a half ago. They have continuously promised to give me visits with her but then would make some excuse for not going through with the visit. The few visits they granted me, they later lied about and said I was late or I was too early. When in fact it was the worker who was late and made me wait to see my daughter. My husband has been denied any contact with my daughter for well over a year and a half. This is not even court ordered. I also have supervised phone calls. This continues even though neither of us has done anything to deserve this.
Our court appointed attorneys are completely worthless! My lawyer never returns my calls and my husbands lawyer has been caught in multiple lies while covering up for the agency. His lawyer actually said to him that she had to work in this county and with this agency so she would not represent him the way he wanted her to. She would not get anybody from this county upset with her. All my husband asked her to do was question the CPS worker in court about the many lies that were told by them and the misconduct performed by them. We had the evidence, yet she still refused to do her job.
All we have gotten from both attorneys have been “do everything the agency says to do, and that will help get your daughter back”. Well we know better, in the very beginning when we were cooperating, they lied and made things up in court. They have been lying from the start, that’s how they got custody of our kids in the first place.
The whole time they were claiming they were working for reunification but all along from the start they have been sabotaging our chances of reunification. They have been brain washing my daughter by telling her lies about us and they have told her that we don’t love her or want her back. Our daughter now hates us.
Our lawyers are clearly working for the other side, they both have leaked information to the other side. confidental information about the case we were planning on using against the agency and the fact that we were going to sue them in federal court.
We need a good lawyer. I haven’t been able to find any for Pennsylvania. I am also looking for a family rights group in Pa or some sort of support group.

I live in Virginia Beach Va. I moved here with my husband, my three-year-old son and my one-year-old daughter. Beginning in December of 2008 a child abuse case was opened on my husband and me. My son is three years old and has been in and out of physchchiatric treatment, hospitals, counseling and foster care. I was unaware of my rights against CPS. They made us sign an intrustment to have my son in foster care. After he came home the case was unfounded. Now my son is in the hospital. CPS wants to open up another case against us. My son self inflicts many injuries toward himself and we want justice due to them acusing us of child abuse. We want to be able to provide and care for our children without the harassment of CPS.

I really would like to talk to a attorney. My niece had both of her children taken away by cps and at first my brother and his wife took them. now my brother and his wife are sepperated and he left them kids there. his wife gave them kids to her aunt to watch and they are now going to adopt them. Cps told the courts they are family and they are not. Cps at one time came to my house to inspect and then they said about two weekks later i dont quily because I signed off on three of my kids over 10 years ago.why does that disquily me.

On April 10th 4 AM Central time an attorney called me and we spoke for an hour. I didn’t catch your name due to the early hour and in my amazement at you actually calling me and telling me that I have been harrassed and what I needed to do; I forgot to ask you for your name again. Please if you are reading this, call me back. It is going to take years of therapy for my happy children to be happy again after everything they have been through, and my little one can’t even come home after I get custody back until school is over with: he is in a mental facility for children and teens, a place he does not belong there. My little boy who was the most outgoing child in town is now pulling away if his brothers have a disagreement over a silly video game now. He will drop whatever he has and quietly sit there with his head down. I did get him taken off the Celexa; but the fact that my child has a completely different outlook on life is destroying me. My oldest, he has withdrawn also, that is because although it is my parents that have guardianship, my mother will not let my son talk to me alone, and my middle one is even quieter than he was before this all started. They were taken because of forged checks that were null prossed? CFS was concerned about a ‘felony’ charge? That is the largest pile of manure I have ever heard, especially with the first words out of their side on January 20th in court had nothing to do with the children, but with me, “We want four more months of drug testing.” I receive pell grants, you are not eligible for them if you do drugs, I have a 3.9 GPA at the University of Phoenix, which is harder than regular school because it is so much quicker. I am a member of the WMU, Women’s Mission Union, a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, the town couselor to all the teens in town, the organizer when someone needs help raising funds for something. Please call me back; I AM BEGGING YOU; and thank you for calling me in the first place.

While my children were taken away from me over forged checks this happened in the same jurisdiction that we are in. Last year four children in the state of Arkansas died in foster care. One little boy is in a coma after a grocery store worker reported his abuse to DHS, and when he was beaten into the coma, his mother and her boyfriend who did it were staying with a DHS worker. The system in Arkansas is corrupt and I am so sorry but I need vengeance for what we have been put through, please call me back.

Slideshow A judge has decided there will be no bond for the Pine Bluff father charged with killing his own 6-month-old daughter. Police say 31-year-old Edward Robinson killed the baby while the child’s mother, 23-year-old Keisha Williams, watched. We’ve also confirmed that Robinson was charged with domestic battery against Williams a few days before the baby’s death. The capital murder charges on Williams was reduced to permitting the abuse of a minor at the request of the prosecutor.
“I need some answers. I was close to my grandbaby.” Edward’s mother can’t believe her son is charged with killing his own baby, 6-month-old Reeanna Robinson.
Jefferson County Circuit Judge Rob Wyatt presided over the probable cause hearing where he told Edward Robinson what he was charged with. “You’ve been arrested and charged with capital murder. If convicted, you face life in prison without parole or death by lethal injection.”
Prosecutors tell FOX16 that on Wednesday Reeanna started crying, like most babys do. They say Edward Robinson started getting frustrated and began choking her. “He strangled her to get her to stop crying. When she didn’t stop, he attempted to do that again,” said Prosecutor Kyle Hunter. “The body was stiff and blood was coming from her nose and she was unresponsive.”
Outside the courtroom, Keisha’s mom, Lisa Williams, is emotional. “She didn’t ask to be killed because he was angry about something. He didn’t have to kill her; he could have given her to me.”
Lisa Williams thinks she knows why her daughter didn’t stop the child’s father. “She was afraid of him. He was abusing her.
“I didn’t think he was [capable of this], but he was very abusive. [I] never though he would kill his own baby. [I'm] surprised he didn’t kill his other two babies,” said Lisa Williams.
Keisha has three other children and is three months pregnant.
Prosecutors have not decided whether or not they will seek the death penalty in this case.
An autopsy was performed and determined that the cause of death was strangulation. Bond was denied for Robinson. Willimas is being held on a $100,000 bond.

There have been many lies and purgered doccuments filed by CPS in court the children were picked up 10/15/2008 CPS has severed all contact the children are loved and wanted back we need help the court appointed attorneys did not even cross examine. Now CPS are diagoniseing the children with post tramatic stress sydrome, how ever my # 1 rule was no fighting the children will tell you no yelling we did many things including going to church on sundays with great grandma, awwans the library I just lost my husband they are my life and I can’t even get to see them We need help

I need a lawyer In Riverside County, California. I have a 17y/o daughter with a history of being mentally unstable and violent. She had a baby, I also have 3 other disabled children. My husband recently returned to the home on temp visa. Now with my husband home while I was at work my teen could not have free run of home. She went to counseling that hospital sent her for post partum depression, my husband drove her to these appointments. She told counselor that my husband raped her 5 yrs earlier in another country. CPS came to my home, talked to everyone closed case stated unfounded. My daughter grew out of control even had a 24 year old homeless man she met only 2 weeks before sneak in her room and spend the night with her and premature baby only 4th night home from hospital. My Aunt and I spent 4 hours talking to her and explaining that she needed help that a well mother would not do this. I took her Hospital and 5150 her for 72 hour hold. They ended up keeping her 2 days more. My husband and I cared for her baby. The Dr. requested severals days more but then a few hours later and called for me to pick her up. CPS came out and had us sign a safety plan so she could not leave house alone with baby and I could not leave baby alone in house with her. She grew violent threatening to kill me, and she left the house with baby and a family friend. I called worker in AM they said case was closed and needed to call another number, I did not understand I was making a new case. there are many more details, but in the end the baby was removed even though my daughter requested baby stay with my husband and myself. My daughter was 5150 again but released to CPS next Am, she will be 18 in may but is in foster home. She went back to counselor after placement meeting which was a joke because we could not mention her past otherwise we were not being supportive. She said husband raped, and they opened another case even though they closed the previous case on same thing. My husband was ordered to leave house next day with only 5 minutes to get what he needed. He was not told why, and he could not return until investigation was over. I could not take my other children to see him. My husband lived in his car for over 1 week. his temp visa revoked because he was not in a safe home. He tried to get investigator to take statement before he was deported. They were not interested because the rape supposively took place in another country and they did not have juristdiction, CPS never spoke to the other children or answered my calls. When worker found out my husband was not being questioned she insisted my children be, when investagator did not want to question them she suddenly needed to do an case interview with them, although she had interviewed them previously. I was not notified of baby’s court date so I did not even get to request visitation. The worker who diddo her forgotten interview only asked my children if they wanted to see their sister which they told her they were scared of her due to she had chiked and punched them, the worker said don’t worry she changed (in only 3 weeks?) and they wanted to know if they had seen their dad since he was kicked out of home. Upon leaving worker stated if my husband ever comes back to states and she finds out I let him see his kids she will take them forever. and I better not go to that country. No one has ever heard our side or daughters history or from her friends who she told she was going to do this because I spend too much time with my husband, Now knowing my husband can not fight out of the country I received a notice of child abuse central index listing stating it is substantiated and he has to request grievance hearing within 30 days but he’s not here? How do we do that. And is this really something they are using to take my other disabled children? I really need help. Public defender tells me to let investigator handle it but going on 2 weeks and we still have not been heard and they are lying to my daughter that she will get to keep baby, no judge is going to give her a baby because they are saying she is bi polar and if she does not comply to all their request in 6 months they will have baby adopted but they are setting her up to fail, she is mentally unable to comply. Her foster mom was allowing her to go to park close to my home, but they required me to stay in home with other children even though she has threatened to burn down house.

I need to find a lawyer to represent my 15 yr old son who is currently incarcerated in Juvenile Detention in Savannah Ga. Since we live in Vermont I can not go see him and can’t believe cps here will expidite his return here. He ran away with another boy in custody to get away from custody, planned to stay gone till 18. My son has been so stressed out in their programs he felt he had no choice, but, to run.

this is for my daughter. we live in NY. she and her boy friend got into an arguement and the police were called. they took the 12 year old behind closed doors and intimidated him into saying things that didn’t happen. her boy friend was arrested and in court the DA again took the 12 year old behind closed doors and made intimidating threats to him for the truth. any way it all eneded up in family court where the CPS took the three kids and put them into foster home. there is so many people invloved with these kids well fare that no one knows what the other one is doing. now my daughter had to go for in treatment and yet there is no clear answer as to what CPS will do with the kids. according to NY law I have to have court permission to see the kids even though I am the grandmother. to many people have to much power in all of this. they haven’t even given an answer as to when my daughter can see her children, the oldest is 12 and then there is the 5 year old with special needs and the 1 year old. so far they are all with each other. she needs some help to get back some of her parent rights and some power.

Now ,I agree it is hard to find an attorney to sue them( I was informed that Robert Powell maxed out , can’t take more cases)here what you do ,Go to the county manegar office and got a claim form, to at least start the law suit process, as you have limited time to do so , then you have time to keep looking for an attorney to sue .peaple this is America , we have constitutions, take no shit.

My boyfriend was caught shoplifting last night at our local Safeway in Tucson, Arizona. He told the police he needed to get back home to see his baby. They put him in jail, and walked right in without me answering the door and without a search warrant. They found my son had a diaper rash, and now they want to remove him from the home. I was waiting for my boyfriend to get home so I could buy some cream and formula. They called me a liar and said I was on drugs, they also searched my apartment. His knees had a rash because in Tucson its very dry and he crawls around, they said the rash told them I was abusive and neglectful. I am now constantly being monitored by cps, and my family has no privacy just to be. I thought a diaper rash was a normal part of being a baby! I love my son and would take a bullet for him, and now I’m going to lose him because of a diaper rash? They literally came into my home and called me an abusive parent and reduced me to a sobbing mess. I love my son, and because my boyfriend does something irresponsible somehow I’m a bad mother, criminal, etc.

Don’t panic—CPS has received some damning press lately. Folks generally go to the media as a last resort. However, LA has a reporter whose beat is DHS.
Papers are having to concentrate on local news today, and CPS is firmly in their area of expertise.
Those whose children are currently in NON-KINSHIP FOSTER CARE SHOULD REMEMBER THAT IN 10-08 Bush signed the “Fostering connections” act which provided that CPS must NOTIFY KIN ABOUT FAMILY BEING PLACED IN STRANGER FC. ( Do not know about enabling laws in Calif). Consult an atty.
California man won a judgment v DCFS in Calif due to Calif’s negligence in not promptly locating the child’s Dad.
DUE DILIGENCE IS A KEYWORD IN REFERENCE IN FOSTER CARE IN CALIF DUE TO THIS ESTABLISHED CASE LAW.

Please…anyone…I need help with a case out of Coffee County, Alabama. My case is very complicated to explain and very emotionally exhausting to go into details about. I am pleading with anyone who may be able to contact me or steer me in the right direction to an attorney that can help me in Alabama. The system there is horribly corrupt and I’ve been fighting for custody of my daughter for over 2 and a half years now. Enough is enough…like many others I’ve read about, I’ve done everything plus that CPS asked of me and still nothing. No one is thinking about my daughter here…they are only worried about covering up all the corruption involved in my case.

please help i live in las vegas my 3 children was taken by california cps from my ex-wife so far I have been getting all my hearing notices sent in the mail after the hearing has taken place cps has also used my PTSD from military service against me in the petition. In 2000 my family was talked into moving to Palmsprings,Calif./ Riverside county. In 2001 CPS swooped in without notice made alot of false accusations about my husband.Everything they were saying was false. He was a great dad to my son who was his step son 9 yrs. at the time we also had our son 2yrs at the time. We had low income but we always made sure the kids were provided for. We did everything they asked and it was never presented in court they said we refused to comply when all we did was comply. We got one 15 min. visist with our youngest the 2yr.old but, we did not get to visit he was there but the used all the visisting time to ask us a bunch of questions about his sleeping habits! When we tried to get a visit set for my oldest they said he did not want to see my husband so I said thats fine I’ll visit him alone then they said my mom told them she did not want me to see him, she was the foster care at the time as well as maternal grandmother. The CPS worker told me later that she discontinued my parental visistations with both children because she felt I was aggressive with her. Anyone who knows me KNOWS thats not true.We are excellent parents even the parental class we had to take told us that we were the best they’ve seen in class they did not understand why we were there! my mother still has guardianship and is desperatley trying to get the youngest her to texas back with his loving family and Riverside county is refusing to do anything she said she is afraid they are going to take him from her this summer she had told them she could no longer take care of him she is fixing to be 80 yrs. this upcoming Feb. We are lost ,we don’t know what to do? My brother found a website called ripoff report and all the attorneys we had in juvenile court there where listed in it for legal kidnapping I made copies!!! We also went to criminal court there in Indio Ca./Riverside Co. and the entire case was dismissed but juvenile court refused to do anything to help us they never brought our witnesses in and they were there!!!!

I have been dealing with CPS since 2001. There has been numerous cases brought against over the last 8 years. As a result all 7 of my children have been taken away from me. The first four, I was naive and let CPS take and place them permanently with relatives. Right now I am fighting to keep may last 3 children in my care. This last incident with CPS has convinced me that CPS can do anything they want and get away with it. My 4 year old burned my one year old with an iron. They accused me of burning him, put me in jail, and tried to adopt them out. But God had other plans. After 7 months, the charge against me was dropped and now I have to complete “services” to get them back. This is a long and complicated story. But long story short—I believe my rights have been violated and I want to sue. I’m broke and I need help. I know that no one wants to work for free but I am just praying that someone is willing to help. I have to something to stop them because if I don’t, they will be after me forever. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi, I lost my 3 girls last month, CPS took them from school, my husband is being accused of sexual abuse by the the 2 older teenagers and now my own lawyer is asking me to sign a paper where I’m pleating guilty of an unfit mother, I think I have the wrong lawyer and will like to now if is any lawyer in my state that will actually work for me. I am a grandmother of 2 young children and have had custody of both since thier births with my daughters permission as well as CPS permission. After my grandson was born he was 3 weeks old a CPS worker who is extremly prejudiced because of a legal problem that my boyfriend and her husband had a few years ago while he was the county attorney of La Paz County came to our home that we had only moved back to the day before and were just begining to unpack and removed my grandchildren making it look on the paperwork as though they had already been made wards of the court. I was arrested 4 days later because by boyfriend had left with my 16month old granddaughter because he was unaware that they wanted her. anyways I was arressted on Kidnapping and have just recentily recieved a copy of the grand jury inditment in which the officer who testifies lies and claims that cps had a court order to remove the children from my home. CPS never conducted an investigation and made no reasonable efforts to prevent the removal of the children however lie to the court and say they did but no where in the record that I have seen does it state what those efforts were. because there were none I live in Arizona and I have all documentation to prove the lies and the court refuses to make me a party to the case even though I had the children from the time they were born the dependency case is against my daughter so I can not get a lawyer I need help before they perminetly take my grandchildren please help my email address is tammydoud at yahoo.com thank you

My name is JoyCe and my husband and i are the oroud grandparents of 5 beautiful grandchildren, and on 11/7/07 CPS came and removed them from our home, b/c they kept getting numerous complaints, by my son, and other family members, for years… Anyways 2 of them have severe mental disabilities, and 1 is physcially handicap, but that doesn’t matter to us, we have raised them all since birth, and could of them any more than if they were our own… My son and his wife were unfit parents, and had dropped their 2 boys off when each of them were born, and b/c after 6-7 yrs, we would not return them, b/c they still weren’t fit, they decided and got with other family members, and constsntly made a bunch of complaints…. These children were removed, b/c they say they were neglected, and abused, and sfter an investigation, they found nothing, and yet CPS still would not return them, then 6 months after being in the foster care system, while we were fighting to get them back, CPS, then came up with allegations, of me molestating .. Well never the less i was devastated, and apauld, by these allagation, b/c i hate child molesters, i came from that kind of life sytle, and i know the truma it puts on children… Well of course there was an investigation done, and the det, on that case said he found nothing, and that they were taking things out of context, that he found nothin…. I even offered to do a polygraph test, to prove my innocent… Also during this investigation, my son had later called the det., back, and told him, that b/c of the interview, that he had remember that when he was little, that i molested him, but when the det., tryed numberous times to contact him on this matter, he never returned the calls, which i knew he wouldn’t b/c the det., told him, during his investigation, that if he and his wife would take a polygraph test, and they both refused… Anyways it has been almost 2 yrs, since we have had these babies, we are being told that my son’s youngest boy, is having alot of problems, and at 1 time had to be put in a mental hospital, , all of this b/c he just wants to come home and doesn’t understand what is going on…
We have raised these babies for years, and it is killing us knowing that they are hurting, and suffering…
We were told by CPS when they were first removed that we would never see them again, but b/c we had had guardianship on 3 of them, we got to see them every now and then, we even had court appt. attorneys, which in our case was worthless, at first tehy said yes we will fight for u, but when the allegations, of molestation came out instead of backing us up, they told me they would no longer represent us, and that i needed to go on with my life, b/c i would never see them again, and my husband’s attorney, told him that he should divorce me, b/c i was going to go to jail for a long time., and not to fight it, b/c i would only be dragging him down, and that he needed to go on with his life… They had me tryed and convicted, and sentence b for i was even investigated…. We have been fighting CPS, for over a yr, and getting nowhere, every attorney we see saids yes u have a case, and they are just harassing u, but it will cost us anywhere between $12000.00 to $15000.00 or more and we don’t have that kind of money, we are not saying that these babies aren’t worth it, b/c they are we just don’t have that kinda money, and it is killing us that we can’t see these babies… Everytime i ask CPS why we can’t see them, b/c they found nothing on the investigation, they tell me that they can not talk about it, and that we just can’t, 1 reson they gave us was that we weren’t a party to the case, but yet my youngest daughter is not, and she gets to c them, and 2 other sets of grandparents get to see them, and they aren’t either, and when we tell them this they just say we can’t talk to u….
They have even went as far as telling my youngest daughter that if she moves out then she could be a placement for these kids, and she did, but now they are not doing that, and won’t say why… They even told my daughter and her husband, that if they have contact us, or see us, that they will not get their 3 children back, b/c there was a no contact order against us, but when we checked there was none, and when i confronted them about it, then they told them that at the next court hearing, which was they 6th or 9th of this month hearing they were getting one, but they never did, it is just 1 more way to harass us… Now they are talking about severing my daughter’s rights, and we want these babies back, but us we get the help we need, we will never see them again…
I have even went as far as contacting the governor’s office, and the state, and am getting no where
We need help, if there is anyone out there that can HELP US, Please we beg of u, if not for us for these babies that are being victimize by CPS and the court system… All they want is the right to come back home, and they should be allowed that, the last time i seen them, that kept apologizing to us, for writing on the walls, and we could not even tell them that that is not the reason they were taken, and they have no clue y they are there… I told the courts, and CPS that if u could see the way these children interact with us, and how they cling to us, crying, and begging us to take them home, and having to be pryed off us, and we are being told that we can not show emontion, and we have to turn our heads, b/c we are crying, and it is killing us deep down inside, we want to just pick them up, and hold them, and love them, but we can’t… They would c that these children were not abused, by loved very much… CPS even went as far as telling us, that we have to big of a bond with these children, and that they need to break it, that’s all there is…
We have even been told that CPS thinks they are GOD, b/c what they say rules over everything else… The system is wrong, and some one needs to stop this before more children like ours are hurt….
Please if there is any one out there that has a heart, and that can help us, we really appreciate it, we had tryed an avocate, to try to help us, but all she did was take our money and ran…..

Cps and doctors are working together in california. I have wrote the governor and I have talked with Sam Blakeslee a representative. These government officials are not going to do a thing except make more money stealling children. This has got to stop. We need to start asking for their resignations or find a way to get them out of their possition and put a human being in their place this is insanity. In Orange california those cps worker are out off control I believe all of them are. We need to have a tea party outside these juvenile proceeding and tell them no more. My child was also taking by cps and is now with her abusive father He didn’t want anything to do with for sixteen years but here’s the kicker he admitted to a child molestation charge in Arkansas I received a picture of my daughter dressed like a flusy and they make her do some really terrible thing s is what I am hearing. Every thing stated in the deposition was lies and I could prove this yet they won’t here of this. My daughter and I are from Arkansas it’s not quite as bad as california but the way our government is out off control it probly won’t be long My child was not a government issue and I never would have believed the injustices had I not seen them first hand. My friend was with me when the incident occured and he said he couldn’t believe it I had a cps monitor take up for my daughter and me he nearly lost his job he said he would testify for me if suppeneoned like many others the attorneys or most will not fight for you and the public pretenders are what their called and are a waste of our time and tax dollars as is the judges legislature govenors and those stupid people that take their jobs more seriosly than the lives and happiness of our children.

Please help in Northern California. Our son in law has a child from a past relationship. The Mother was losing custody due to drug use. Our son in law was getting custody. The lady that was losing custody called the police and pressed charges saying that He was beating the child with a belt. The police arrested him, never read him his rights. He asked for a lawyer the night he was arrested. He was told he did not get a lawyer until he goes to court. They questioned him for five days and then sent a cps worker in to tell him that if he did not admit to spanking his child they would go and take all their children away and arrest his wife. He then said he spanked his child. We bailed him out and got a lawyer for him since no lawyer was ever provided for him. The next evening after business hours a cps worker came to the house and pushed her way into the house. Our son in law said she needs to speak to his lawyer. She told him that if she isn’t allowed to search the house, she will take all their children immediately. We were told that cps might drop the case due to lack of evidence but in the mean time, they said they wanted them to take a parenting class and they will place all their children as a ward to the court so they can take the class for free… I told them I will pay for the class but we don’t know what they will do next or what we can do. We will talk to the lawer in a couple days but if anyone knows what we should do, please let me know. Thank you for your time. Gary

I need an attorney in Nebraska that can help me overturn my relinquishment. I was threatened and harassed to agree to this. I’m willing to pay what ever it takes. My children were adopted by one’s paternal grandmother and she is neglecting them and berating them and basically brainwashing them. I’m concerned about their current and long term mental health. My youngest is only 10. He is also the one who is being neglected and ridiculed the most. I’m scared she’ll push him to be suicidal. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have experinced CPS here in canada, they fabricated accusations that another cps in another province had taken my childs on numerous occasions , that I had thrown him in and out of foster care and had a banndoned him several times?????? I got it on paper that none of this ever happened from the agency they said did it….no one care, my child remained locked up for 3 weeks, all because he had stolen some money and was arrested, he was only 12!!!
the social workers would not even look at his copious amounts of issue since he was 5yrs old,,,they told me “We don’t want ti here anything you have to say”
they now say they acted in good faith…I need help and I can”t get any here unless I spend tons of money… HELP in canada needed

Our daughter has been taken through a legitimate CHIPS case, however, after complying and more, and in spite of the Assistant DA and Social Service requesting that she be returned home, my niece has taken custody through purgerary and blatant lies in court. My niece is refusing to allow any and all contact with our daughter. We have ‘parental rights’ that are being denied daily. We have been accused of abuse and crimes beyond comprehension, with no proof of any kind, actually, we have medical proof that abuse did NOT take place. Please, someone help, just because we are poor should not mean we cannot fight back! This case is very unusual, and I believe that if you read our court papers, you will want to help! I need a lawyer. My children were not removed, but CPS has harrassed, threatened and slandered myself and my husband, breeched confidentiality, and submitted falsified documents to the court and other agencies. We are both social worker students; we stood up for our rights and refused to cooperate w/ CPS, which ended up in a neglect charge. We got a lawyer, and she “can get it dismissed” if we are willing to stipulate probable cause for the petition. I am not willing to do that; so our lawyer says we have to find new counsel. We’re near Ashland, Ky. Thank you for any help you can provide.

My brother was acussed of child molestation in 2005 someone made false reports to CPS against his own children ,but didn’t find evidence of child molestations NO REPORTS WERE FILED but one month later he gets arrested and taken to jail to be be interrogated . My brother was never in jail or any other trouble. He was convicted did not have a fair trial ,his lawyer ,never investigated or did anything to defend him . His wife was attending to meetings with alledged victims who filed the second report But we don’t know who filed the first report ,different allegations is there any way to find out CPS does not give any information but I have a copy from the first report . CPS has ruined my life and my children’s lives. They were removed on bs “abuse and neglect” charges that were dropped because they didn’t have enough evidence. They are now back and coming to my house every week, sometimes twice a week and then making bs complaints about my clean home, or my infant sleeping, or other crap. I have signed a safety plan and have been waiting for over two weeks for my case to be staffed. Everything to this point has been “voluntary”. I am preparing a letter to resend my signature on the safety plan so that I can go get my children. They at the present time are staying with the father in another town. My children want to come home. I live in a rural community and I am well aware that getting representation will be difficult so I am going pro se. There was an incident at daycare on Wednesday, April 8th. I dropped my kids off, and they were both fine (2 1/2 years, and 8 months) I leave work, to pick them up, and my 8 month old daughter has a bruise 2in wide on the left side of her temple. They had an accident report written out, but had asked me what happened to her. I was so furious that they turned it around on me, especially when I took her in, she was FINE! The nest day, on the 9th, I get a call from a CPS case worker, saying that she just saw my daughter at daycare, and needs me to take her into see her pediatrician as soon as possible. I leave work immediately. I pick my daughter up, and she is examined by my doctor. She checks out fine, but I’m referred to take her to the childrens hospital downtown for a head CT. I wait at the hospital with my daughter and sister for 4 hours. We did a Head CT, and Full Body X-Ray, and EVERYTHING was fine. Next day on the 10th, I am called at 10:00am to come in and sign a VPA, or else I’ll loose my rights as a parent. so, not knowing anything about how low CPS is, I sign the VPA for 30 days, and my daughter to be placed with my parents. She’s been there for 28 days now. I see her (with my son, whom by the way still lives with me) every morning before work, and everyday after work. Plus the WHOLE WEEKEND! I was asked at a Family Team Meeting, to be Phsiciatrically Evaluated (I was on the 20th of April, and the 24th of April) and to have a Parental Assessment with someone CPS hires to watch you interact with you kids for an hour each visit. I’ve had two visits both of which had to be moved, because the assesser was ill, or had something come up, and needed to push the appointment out further. They’re done now. I have a followup with this person next Wednesday on the May 13th, and it’s just me, no kids. This person just wants to ask me some parental questions??? Anyway, the VPA is up in two days, my parents were asked by CPS when my daughter first got there on the 10th of April, to do a backround check, personal information questionnaires, and a packet to do a home study…..I’ve heard a home study is conducted when they’re going to place a child in foster, or perminent placement. My parents have been very complient, escpecially when I know, god knows, and my whole family and friends all know I’ve done nothing wrong! I was also asked to do a Urine Test last wednesday on the 29th of April. I Requested copies of everything from the Psych Eval, to the Parental Assessment, to the UA, and when I was questionned by the CPS case worker, about why I wanted a copy, and if I were asking because I knew that it were going to not come out normal. Confused, and Hurt, and a little angered, I simply requested a copy anyway….becuase I know what my results will be. I got the results OVER THE PHONE from the Case Worker, and she asked why I have such low Creatinine…..? I simply replied, that I drink a lot of water on a daily basis, because of a gallbladder removal surgery in late 2002′. Then she stated I was clean. What the heck are THEY trying to find? I am clean, a healthy, young, smart, responcible mother, with loving friends, co-workers, and family! I am lost, and have a meeting today (called a followup meeting) with CPS at noon. I am not sure what’s going to go on. Seeing as how I am in limbo, and no one tells me anything. I need help. I want my daughter home with me and my son where she belongs. And, I DON’T want THEM to come and take both from me! PLEASE, someone help me in Spokane Washington! I will pay anything to have my house a home again!!!!!!!!
