Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

I just don’t understand it. Everyone here has the same complaints. I cannot believe that by now someone would have all CPS statewide investigated, including the judges. How does one get the FBI involved? They are using federal funds. How long is this going to go on?

Excellent observations. Remember that CPS is part of the LAW PLUTOCRACY.
Remember that CPS has predated upon the working class for so long that some of them have become strong and asserted CIVIL RIGHTS, CONSTITUTIONAL ISSUES, etc.
My guess is the FBI does know about CPS.
However, with proven corrupt JUDGES IN THE JUVENILE SYSTEM, ( as in PA), JUDGES are considered an easier target than CPS. Confidence in the Judicial system has been tainted by the conspiracy in PA, FBI Luzerne Co, PA.
We urge every MOM and DAD who is innocent to contact the LAW CLINICS NOTED IN LINDA’S LIST HERE.
Please remember each state has different demographics.
CALIFORNIA HAS AN INSURANCE FUND FOR ABUSE IN FOSTER CARE.
Look on the lawyers list to see that CALIFORNIA HAS MORE LISTED ATTYS THAN ANY OTHER STATE.
Attorneys do not do CPS because it is emotional, time-consuming and provides a slim remuneration.
However, a law degree is almost worthless unless you can BRING IN CLIENTS.
Some attorneys such as Paula Werme in NH are principled and married.
CPS could be run more efficiently. We all know this instinctively. However, CPS nourishes a vast army of folks known as ‘WHORES OF THE COURT’.
Linda has been working in CPS Reform for years.
California has advocates. So does PA, NY, ME, AK, GA, MI, TX, CO, WA, MO, NH.

My Son Robert Johnston will turn 16 on May 13, 2009, is currently incarcerated in a Juvenile Detention Center in Savannah Georgia. In Georgia at 3am April 2, 2009 he and his friend, tried to break into a Liquor Store, when Police responded, the boys sped off in a stolen car they had been driving since they ran away from Vermont March 30, 2009, they led police on a high speed chase, getting on Highway 80, in the wrong direction, while crossing over trying to get on Southbound I-95 they lost control of the car and crashed into trees. One boy was taken into custody at the scene, the other found a couple of minutes later by canine unit, hiding in the trees. Thankfully neither boy suffered injury in the crash.
The boys were driving a vehicle that was stolen from the program both boys were enrolled in, while in Vermont. In the past, they had been transported many times in this car, knew where the keys were kept so it was very easy to use it to run away from there lives in DCF custody. No one at this program noticed the missing car until the boys were found in Georgia..
This alternate program, through DCF, has been involved in my sons live for most of the time he has been in DCF custody. They are wrap around services to assist special needs for troubled youth. Since early spring 2008, my involvement with my son’s caseworker and my son, along with his wonderful foster parents, have been working together as a team to help him to get on the right tract to be successful, and finish school. She has been fair, strict, understanding and always had his best interest. She wasn’t liked at times by her clients but still stuck by their sides through thick and thin I will always be grateful to you Lisa, you are my hero. Also, I am very grateful to foster parents, Marv and Angie along with their own extended family, who loved and nurtured him as their own, you will always hold a special place in my heart as family.
Now I need to look ahead to the future for my son. I need to be by his side as he is facing these horrible events that have happened and to help him to learn something positive for his future as he is facing multiple charges in Georgia, and Vermont.

It take time to get things done and believe be it will be done! Minnesota judges were all called in on an investigation in Minneapolis on my birthday March 13th and that was one of the happiest days of my life!

Child Welfare is trying to make me sign a Family Enhancement Agreement. They refuse to send me a copy so I may go over it with a lawyer and they say I cannot have one with me when I go to the office to view the document which they “expect me to sign.” I have done nothing wronge exept argue with a neighbor!!! This is discrimination as i have a history of drug addiction that was OVER 12 YEARS AGO. I need help, please tell me what I can do! My e mail is joann429 at hotmail.com

Karina, it is easy. Here’s my information page: Filing for a State Administrative Hearing. Basically just go into the welfare department and say you want a form for filing for a state hearing. Then fill it out and either leave it at the counter or mail it in to the state. There should be instructions on the form itself. They should also have a pamphlet about your state hearing rights.

Our special needs advocate sent this to me. Now I’m even more flaming mad. They allowed one of the school staff that abused my son to do an internal investigation, and just as I feared, it’s getting swept under the rug.

We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on what we have done to respond
to your concern. Even though we have not had the opportunity to meet with you, we
want you to know that we take your concerns very seriously and have investigated
your complaint.
We have cooperated with the Thurston County Sheriff s investigation of Case #09-
001450. We provided documentation to Detective Ivanovich as requested. As you
probably are aware, the case has been closed with no findings.
The Principal, Mrs. Karla Kyes, has interviewed the other students who go to the
Special Education lab to see if there were any other concerns about treatment of
students. No further concerns have been forthcoming. She also had all the staff
who work in the Special Education classroom document any behavioral difficulties
between the staff and Collier. This documentation is included in the Sheriffs
report.
Finally,I did two trainings with all the Special Education staff. One forty five
minute training was on how to appropriately use Time Out, how to safely transport
an out of control sfudent, and notification procedures to the parent and Principal.
The other three hour training was on Behavior Management Techniquos With
Difficult Students.
We assume that you received our letter to you of March 13th offering to meet with
you and your advocate. We still are open to meeting with you if you so desire.

Of course, we aren’t getting any mail because construction workers tore up our driveway and the shoulder so the lady that delivers the mail can’t access our mailboxes. All of us are bottoming out coming in and out of the driveway onto a paved road and our vehicles are getting damaged.
The landlord called DOT and complained on Wednesday and here we are four days later and still not a damn thing has been done to repair our driveway. We have an invalid address according to the GPS system that my husband got me for Christmas!

CPS has multiple checks and balances in place, but they are worthless if the authorities ignore their use.
I really believe “transparency” to the public is what it will take before we see the proper agencies step up to the plate and thoroghly check out parental complaints.
Then, based on what they conclude, we’ll see if even more is needed.

Someone filed false accusations against me, a CPS worker banged on my door and forced her way into my house, no warrant, no cops no anything and intimidated my autistic brother, who will honestly say whatever he thinks you want to hear to shut you up, not only that but supposedly celebrities have hit him, yelled at him , spit at him, ummm darth vader cut his arm off with a lightsaber, a stormtrooper threatened him with a shotgun??? Number 1 the report stated my name wrong and also my age which means the person obviously doesnt even know who I am. Number 2 I just got home from boot camp and wasnt even home for the duration of the supposed “abuse”. Number 3 , i know who it is and shes just doing it because I told my brother to tell her I was going to report her for threats she made in front of him toward the president and shes the only one who thinks im the age that was said. Number 4 - wtf kind of “abusive brother” would spend more then haf his pay for 3 months which was someplace over 2700 on his little brother when he came home because he missed his birthday and wanted to get him something special? Number 5- After numerous pieces of evidence were shown to the caseworker she stated they were preprepared the day before, how are letters from a completly different state at random times during a 3 month period pre prepared?? Shes even spoke to my Drill instructors and refuses to believe that I was NOT home and wont drop the case. I mean i find it really funny, all i can do is laugh but seriously….. are the people that work for CPS complete morons? did they even go to school at all? like even kindergarten? and last supposedly i wake my brother up in the morning and bring him to a “undisclosed location” in my house and hold a gun to his head and beat him…. yet since i got home hes been waking up 5 hours before i do lmao. o and did i mention hes never been to the emergency room once for any injury, never had a bruise, never had anything. The only one who has a record with the police in my house is HIM because he has uncontrollable rages because of his disability and starts hitting random people and wont stop until he hurts them really bad for yelling at them meanwhile nobody says anything to him, so the cops have to come and restrain him and bring him to the physc ER…….. Im honestly thinking about a huuuge lawsuit on both the county, the caseworker and the accuser even though she THINKS i dont know it was her

There is no “entity” that holds DCFS/CPS accountable for the grave errors they make at the sacrifice of our children. Be it wrongfully removing children from a home, or refusing to take action when a child is in danger.

THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR EVERYONE SO PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
Everyone is misled by polititions. They want you to think that they give a rat’s ass about you. It could not be further from the truth. The president is nothing more than a puppet, a face for us to relate to, but has no power. Even if he did give a rat’s ass about us, he couldn’t do a thing about it.
You tell me: The man claims to be a Christian but he wants all of the black babies murdered? He allowed the abortion law to kill live babies. He doesn’t fess up to being a Muslum and he’s not even black. He didn’t come from a black woman’s womb.
You tell me: He refuses to produce a birth certificate and wasn’t born in this country but he was still given the presidential seat? He wasn’t born here. We don’t really know where he was born or his real age, once again he is proven untrustworthy. We are supposed to believe what ever he says.
You tell me: He said he would fix our economy and end the war but he avoids answering we the people’s questions on where the jobs are going to come from and sends more of our men and women over there when they should be here? Tells us that the stimulas check is a good thing but since we are already in debt where is he getting the money from and why is so much of it missing with no evidence of where it went to or what it was used for. People everywhere are worshiping the president including citizens of other countries because they have been brainwashed that the president is our savior.
You tell me: How is our economy being strengthened when the gas prices are going up again, prices of everything are inflating even further and we are not able to pay our rent or mortgage and utilities, can’t afford to choose our children’s schools and no longer have the means to clothe and feed ourselves because even minimum wage stays the same and a college degree doesn’t guarantee a decent paying job? If you are a single parent household for any reason, physically or mentally disabled, have a history of being abused or neglected by a parent or spouse, have a child with any learning disability, have ever been on a preseription medication, have ever visited the ER for any injury or one of your family members that required an exray or other procedure that required a doctor to administer a prescription narcotic or mustle relaxer, have children who have ever had an alergic reaction from anything including bee sting or bug bite, have a child who had an earache, has a child who ever had a sunburn, a scraped knee, cut on their finger, have a child who cut their own hair or a sibblings with scissors, got suspended from school, arrested for anything, had a traffic ticket even if it was only for a tail light out or financially challenged your kids are the first to go. If you can’t afford to keep a roof over your head and you are just scraping bye you are doing nothing more than living to fill their fat pockets while the government sits on their hands and smiles pretty.
You tell me: Why are our children being ripped away from us at a lightning speed if we are still a free country and polititions really care about us and our kids? Do you not think that it’s strange that they watch CPS continue to violate us and traumatize our children and do nothing to stop it from happening? While they keep advertizing that we don’t have enough CPS workers, fosterhomes and such? There are millions of people making money at our children’s expence. There are people who go into foster care business just to adopt our kids and they get paid to do it! They are child collectors. Notice that your attorney isn’t helping you get your kids back? He/she gets paid not to.
You tell me: Why was family court invented? Did it occur to any of you that family court only exists to convict you of crimes that you can not be convicted of in any other court? Family court and it’s minions violate our constitutional rights, go by color of law, not inocence or guilt and no crime has to have happened. No proof has to be shown. No warent has to be issued. Our children are brainwashed and tortured to testify against us, are taught that it’s not okay to love their parents, that their parents don’t really love them and that parenthood is a privilege, not a God-given right. We are told that we have no choice on how we raise our kids and that the kids have all of the rights. Kids turn in their parents when they don’t like the rules, go into the system and the parents get stuck paying child support until their rights are terminated or the kids are “aged out” of the system. I could go on but…
NOW YOU TELL ME THAT YOU STILL THINK THAT THE PRESIDENT GIVES A RAT’S ASS ABOUT US AND IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING TO HELP STOP CPS!

Im not from california im from florida and dcf ruined my life and my 2 childrens lives. I was a single mom who lived on a 400 acre farm filled with cattle and horses and had a life millions would dream of but also one the dcf planned on ruining. after a break up with my former boyfreind i deciede to go to a party over the weekend beings i didnt have the children and they were with their fathers one thing lead to another and i got intoxicated and snorted a line of what i thought was cocaine someone there must of been a spy for one of my kids dads cause monday morning the dcf showed up although the kids still wasnt back yet i didnt think i should of took the drug test but they said if i refused they would still pull them away well i failed for cocaine and methemphetemine. my kids ages 11 and 4 spent everyday with each other and with me they both slept in the bed with me, except for every other weekend of course. the dcf took my rights and gave them to the kids fathers which my 11 year olds father was on comunity control at the time for child abuse charges. and my 4 year olds father has been arrested several times since he has had my son. now take in mind i never had a speeding ticket and there was no abuse allegations what so ever just that i used drugs not in front of the kids or anything like that just because of one drug test. hell i passed over18 test after the first step when i was suppose to see the kids they gave me a false test i went crazy and demandded the lady give me another right then she stuck the test strip in the same urine and it was negative but i still couldnt move up and see my kids it was like they had died. i was desperate and willing to do anything to see my kids but i relized they was playing dirty games so me and my mom got a iv bag and made a device and filled it with sobe energy drink and on the day i had to be at the cope center they called and said i had 15 minutes to get there and give a drug test or i wasnt gonna be able to see the kids i asked why couldnt they accept the urine sample i was fixing to take at cope? they said no so we rushed over with the iv bag ready me and the worker went into the restroom while my mom waited we exit the bathroom and sure enough positive for the same 2 drugs i became so irate i offered to pay for another test 100 dollars i just wanted to see my kids they threatened to call the law and made me leave their office well discourage and late for cope class i said fuck it and missed cope and of course then i didnt follow the case plan that i had signed for god sake i would of signed away my family farm at that time and not known it and im sure theyll end up with it cause without my kids its no longer a home please help or give me advice im ready to give up completly

I am at a loss for words….CPS took my baby girl two weeks after my husband committed suicide. They said I made a poor choice by leaving her alone in the house, knowing he was depressed, and they assumed he was intoxicated. His tox report came back with nicotene, caffine, and 0.17mg of alprozalam. He was prescribed 2mg per day. I will be honest, i have admitted to a previous drug history, but i have been clean for 4 years. And I was not intoxicated by any means when the incident happened. It is now 7 months later, and I feel like no matter how high i jump for these people, I am getting nowhere. Please, someone help me.

I’m so sorry… Sometimes I call CPS the “kick them while they’re down” agency because they look for a family enduring a hard time, and choose that time to attack. That’s their typical modus operandi. I have been reasearching this and been “in the system” since 1986.
I have never had my children taken. All investigations were unfounded - until now. However, there isn’t enough evidence to convict me of the neglect that DCFS has indicated me for.

Children’s Services in Tennessee are extremely corrupt. I can give you example after example. In my case, I have two children and 8 and a three and a half year old, I have 50-50 custody of. My ex has never liked the fact I had 50-50 custody and for years has done everything she could do to cause me problems. About four months ago, my three and half year old somehow ended up with a bad bruise in the back area. I do not know how it happened and that is the truth. She took the child to the doctor and then called Children’s Services. I have had no contact with my children in four months. The 8 year old told them in the interview I would never hurt either one of them and did not hurt the three and a half year old. I don’t even spank my children. They targeted me, I have spent thousands on legal fees and it hasn’t matter one lick. Forget contacting the governor, etc. they do not care plain and simple.
Also and I am not trying to spam this board but I have set up an online petition about DCS in Tennessee in particular. If you will, go by and check out the horror stories people have already posted and please share yours. Even if you are not from Tennessee, I hope you will sign it.

I have been trying to get my granddaughter for the past 40 days, or so. My daughter is in custody and her attorney, my granddaughter’s attorney and the attorney for CPS (ha, ha) want to place the child in my home. An inspection of my home has been done, but now CPS tells me they have to wait for my daughter to be sentenced. She is to be sentenced today. How long should I wait for CPS to make their next move/ What can I do in the interim to ensure that this placement will actually happen.

Grandparents groups for specific laws and rights.
Many states have signed the Federal legislation ” Fostering connections…” ( Bush law, October, 2008 )
This law provides that in states which have joined, kin must be searched for diligently.

Need some information
My sister is having a problem with her ex-daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law, has called DSS a few times on my sisters family, but the alligations did not even get to an investagation.
Today my sister got a call from American Humane. I happen to know from edcational back ground, that CPS beginings were in American Humane society. They are coming to my sisters house for a meeting. They claim that they are there to help both famlies work out their problems. I have begged my sister to call her attorney before speaking to them, but she thinks they are there to help. I can’t find enough information but I know they investagate child matreatment. I don’t know if they have the same power as CPS, does anyone have any more info?

We believe that in this way you are decreasing the future incidence of people will abuse legal and illegal drugs and our streets will be safer. The people who are using the breakup of families for financial gains should also thank you for making our society safer it is their society and their future also. Every deed we do will come back to us whether it is negative or positive, that is why we all must do our best in every moment.
Also we believe in heaven and other places, maybe purgatory and much worse, and we think that FOREVER is a very long time to live in one place. I have never met dishonest cps workers but have friends, coworkers and others who have been victimized. I would not want to be anyone who trades the health and happiness and safety of children and family togetherness for money and risk being in pain forever.
I am against violence and will always be a citizen who never breaks any laws, I do not drink or smoke or take any illegal drugs and never have been a user of those things. I have tried alcohol but hate it too, I have scientific proof of everything I am writing.
So I think these scriptures I noticed on youtube about this matter are too exaggerated but I want to write the locations of these. Isaiah 10:1-4 and Exodus 21:16, and St Matt 18:2-5 says that if we are not humble like a little child that we will not enter into heaven. Anyone who harms a child in any way according to verifiable scriptures would be hurting themelves now and forever.

I’ am sorry for both your losses. You should not have been punished twice. Once by losing your husband to a medical disorder. (depression is a medical problem) and secondly to have your child taken because of that. Contact the ADA and see if they can give any advice. God Bless

The philosophy of this website is very thwarted and unrealistic. To portray the idea that children being removed from their parents as a universal evil act is preposterous. No one can legitimately tell me that placing children out of their biological home is never in the best interest of the child, or even the family. I understand injustices happen, and by all means these wrong doings must be stood up for and overturned. But to make an entire site demeaning an agency without a word about the necessary service they provide to certain areas of our society makes your arguments fall on deaf ears. No one will listen to your injustices unless you approach the issue from a realistic and unbiased perception of the problem. If this site believes that children being physically and sexually abused by their parents need to stay in that abusive home, then conversations with rational people are irrelevant. But if you really feel like children are being removed from the homes of their parents for unfair reasons, then takes your quarrel seriously. Zealousness gets very little done when it comes to reforming our countries laws and regulations. Put your emotions aside for a moment, and think about the problems and realistic approaches to the overall problem.

In the two instances that I have seen a baby or child removed. Please, believe me when I say that the biological parents NEVER lifted a finger to hurt, harm or injure a baby or child in any way, shape or form. NO CHARGES OFWRONGDOING MEAN EXACTLY THAT!!! There is a reason. These are the instances that I refer to in speaking up against CPS. They probably fall under the category of injustices; but I cannot tell you otherwise. My mother and father did not believe in spanking; but yes they have had there run in with CPS over ARGUING WITH A SCHOOL PRINCIPAL ABOUT RESOURCE CLASSES!!! The other couple; there was a concern about the mental health on the mom while giving birth and the father was of “low intelligence”; but none of this has anything to do with child abuse or neglect!!! There healthy baby was removed directly from a hospital room. Before the family (grandparents or aunts) could even speak these children were gone! Foster parents, CPS and adoptive parents had more of right to destroy that couple than a relative’s right to try to help that couple to stay a family. Also, there is a difference between Superior Court “Juvenile Court” and criminal courts. The instances I refer to are in Juvenile Court. I believe this site is referring to Juvenile Court.

Unless you’ve been through it you can’t begin to understand the implications of such a situation. You sound like another CPS worker.
I will have you know that when I was a child I was abused by my parents. My mother abandoned me when I was 7. She left me with my dad who married a woman who hated kids and I paid the price for it.
I was physically, mentally and sexually abused. I was starved and neglected. I was their personal slave. I was imprisoned. I had no social life. CPS told me that I deserved the abuse. My dad and his wife were very good at covering their tracks. Several people made reports but they just said that I was a liar and was making the abuse up.
From the time I was 13 to the age of 17 I was in fostercare.
I will have you know that it wasn’t a walk in the park.
I remember at least 12 state funded institutions.
I was abused physically, mentally and sexually. I was starved and neglected. The foster kids did all the chores. We took care of all the younger foster kids.
There were padlocks on the fridge and cupboards.
In 2 of them we were locked in the basement at night, the second one we were locked in the basement whenever the foster “mother” had company or she left for the day.
Being in the system was much more dangerous than being at home.
I didn’t graduate high school so I got my GED.
I was aged out of the system when I was 17 1/2.
I am a good mother yet I only have my youngest child because of the stunts my parents pulled. It didn’t help matters that I was a single parent with no money to spare, a former foster child, and had a history of finding guys that abused me.
I watch the people I care about lose their kids to CPS. They are good parents who love their children very much. They don’t abuse their children in any way ever.
I know I am at risk because of my history with CPS.
I am a homeschooling parent because my son was abused by teachers in the public school he was in. He has special needs. I had to protect my child.
The government swept the incidents under the rug. They had the school principal conduct an internal investigation. She was one of the people who abused my son.
I filed a report with the sheriff. He or a CPS worker shouldv’e conducted the investigation.
You can’t tell me that CPS is necessary.
You can’t tell me that foster homes are a necessity.
If, and only if, a child is abused, they should be removed from their current enviornment. Someone should be calling the police, not CPS. The child should be placed with a loved one, either a family member or a family friend.
CPS doesn’t save children. They are just as guilty of being abusive.
Maybe you should visit http://www.americanfamilyrightsassiciation.org or better yet, listen to the Alex Jones Show at http://www.infowars.com and your eyes will be opened. My belief is that children should be loved, that life begins at conception, that life is a precious gift from God and that CPS and other branches of government are evil.
Nothing good has ever come from ignorance so I hope for your sake and the innocent that you arm yourself with knowlege.

You seem to be walking through life with your eyes closed. You don’t know what your talking about because you have never been there. Falsely accused! CPS has too much power. If your falsely accused you MUST prove your self innocent, which they make impossible.
Even with prove, they ignore it. There is no way to explain this to you because YOU HAVEN’T BEEN THERE. God willing you never will be.
There is something wrong with a system were anyone can call and say anything about you, and you DO NOT HAVE the right to met your accuser in a court of law.
Lets say the accuser is telling the true, why hide behind CPS. Why seal the records? If the accuser is telling the truth, why do they need immunity.
Let me explain Your neighbor is upset with you, they make a false claim to CPS. CPS protects them so they don’t have to worry about being sued, when they it’s proved false. They only have to say they made the complaint “In good faith”. They believed it to be true.
A teacher doesn’t need to prove anything, all she has to say is “ I have a feeling there is a problem at home”. A FEELING. What the heck does that mean? I get a lot of feelings about people and 9 times out of 10, I’m wrong because I do not know all the FACTS. Feelings Verses Facts. They don’t even have to say what their FEELING is, Just a FEELING???? (By the way I just finished a course on this for my degree in childhood education so I’m speaking directly from the text)
The people on this site have been falsely accused! That is the point. No one is saying child abuse doesn’t exist . No one is saying that those guilty of child abuse should not be punished, of course they should be punished!
However I want a legal fighting ground. I want the police, who are trained in investigating crimes to handle the investigation. I want my rights as a citizen of the U.S. upheld. Common killers get that much.
I do not want an untrained, un-skilled, immature (those lacking of life experience) person ‘s investigating me. I want my side of the story heard. I want all the facts brought out into the open.
I want any issues proven false thrown out. And I want to be able to face my accuser in court. After all if I’m guilty , I deserve what I get. However if I’m innocent, I have a chance to prove it. This is what I want.
My pray for you is this… I hope no one ever does to you what has been done to innocent people on this site. I pray that you will always be able to hold your children safely in your arms, and I pray that every night your children sleep softly in their beds.

I have not seen any comments from foster parents, so this may be unique. We stepped into the foster parent arena to make a difference, we only lasted a couple of years because off the abuse being commited by CPS………..let me explain, we took it at face value to become concerned with the welfare of the child and progress toward reunification with the bio parent. This was a mistake….. it only caused us much grief and dissapointments. Every time we challenged what CPS was doing to the child we were chastized to the point of being blackballed and loosing our license. We were in support of having the bio parent taking back the child, we got to know her through family visits. This upset CPS they somehow convinced the TFC contractor that held our license to withdraw it and prior to this they had told the TFC contractor not place any more foster children in our home because we did not “go along with the flow.” It is all about the money for CPS and the therapeutic agencies, I am convinced of this. Many of we children I had the pleasure of knowing would have been better off with their parents instead of in a strange home.
The obstacles placed infront of the bio parent were never ending, and to this date she still has her children in foster care.
What we saw that is that no one speaks up for the child they all go alonge with CSP, inclusive of CASA. It is all about the money, everyone in the circle gets a peice of the pie, from CPS on down. It is similar to the Special Education program in the the public schools, the larger the head count the more funding they get, the school system in our state even gets some funding for some of the foster care children.

I have left comments before - however this time is different. On Tuesday, May 5th, CPS, and the Sheriff’s Officer’s came into my home and removed my children. At the time my husband and I were foster parents and caring and loving 3 children whom we had had for over a year and had been building a relationship with their biological family.
They removed my children because they said that there was a lack of supervision in the home. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works the 3rd shift at a Private Prison. There is ALWAYS someone at home. People from our church had called us in - telling lie after lie about our family. My husband’s niece who we had custody of had told the CPS worker lie after lie. She’s 13 and ALL of my little kids are terrified of her. We found her looking at GAY PORN on our computer, smoking, haning out with boys and doing who knows what, taking OTC medications to school and passing them out, lying to her teachers, stealing, etc… She was threatening the kids that if they ever told on her or told any of her “secrets” that she’d beat them up. When we attempted to explain this - we were accused of using her as the scapegoat. I haven’t eaten or slept since Tuesday. They didn’t allow us to say goodbye. Luckily my kids are with a family friend - since we don’t have any family around here. My niece is no longer welcome in my home or around my children. And they are relieved. I had to tell my other kids’ grandmother that they had been moved because CPS couldn’t even do that.
I feel horrible that I have taken in other people’s children now for the past 7 years. It’s not an honorable thing. CPS has lied about why they have my kids, everything is bogus and unsubstantiated. They are believing a manipulating, lying, thieving 13 year old over grown adults. I am SO, SO, SO sorry that I have been a foster parent. And I am hurt, upset and lost without my kids. I don’t know what to do. I have to go to court - something I’ve never ever done. I have to have an attorney - I didn’t rob anyone and I didn’t murder anyone. I just want my kids back. Someone please help me - I don’t know what to do.
