Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

I had my kids taken from me because of drug abuse of a period of 3 months in my life. I never done them in front of my kids and cps refused to help me get them back although i have complied with all their orders. My kids are now with their fathers and are in worse shape than ever. They want to come home and I have been clean for almost 2 years. Can you help me! They are being neglected. Cps wouldn’t even get me a drug test, my mother got me one (a hair folicle and a urine and have taken about 5 since all clean.) They wouldn’t check out my home and was hateful to me. The cps worker now is gone and not working there.

I need a lawyer for Washington state, to file an injunction on a dependency, and I’d like to do this through federal court.
If it is possible to file for injunction from federal court in another state which is outside of the state where the dependency is filed, I might prefer this, since it would entail a lawsuit against the state in general, for violations of laws and rules of civil procedure.
I’m on a tight deadline now, but looking for a private attorney who is experienced with CPS cases and passionate about civil rights in general and due process.

I would like to sue the state of California for allowing my daughter to be adopted by accused child sexual abusers. I never signed anything allowing her adoption. They assumed too much in this case.

please help me. cps took my 2 kids. sabrina age 15 and david age 13 on may 7,2008, because i reported to the sherrifs dept that my dtr told me my husband of 3yrs had been sexually inappropriate with her. i asked the deputy to referr us to a counselor. he referred us to scottys house to see a counselor. a cps worker was there in the back room, then came out and said she was taking custody of my kids.i had already told my husband to get out of my house because of these accusations.i am a nurse, worked alot of hours and did not know until my daughter told me. my son has been moved to 6 different homes in 8 months and my dtr 4 homes in 8 months. since may, my son was put in a psych unit because he wants to come home. last month at a foster home he tried killing himself( this is not my son, he has always been a happy-go-lucky kid). even the caseworker said hes being defiant, wanting to come home. my daughter just got moved to another foster home yesterday. i have done everything cps has wanted. i go to a counselor every week, finishedmhmr eval., psych eval, parenting and anger management classes finished about 6 months ago. there is no reason for cps to still be keeping my kids. they have given me 5 drug tests which all came back negative, the last drug test was a hair follicle test which was negative. i don’t do drugs and never have. i need an atty that is aggressive and can sue cps. this is distructing my children cps has not benefitted my children. please help me, for my kids before something worse happens to them.

i need to find a good lawyer to help me win this case with cps on false allegations with cps and my daughter… my daughter was taken away from me when she was a month and a half… she is now 9 months and she is being abused in her foster home i have told her social worker and the social workers supervisor that my daughter is being abused and all they did was laugh in my face about it… so i need to find a lawyer that fights against cps.. so can u please help me… they took my daughter because this girl that i thought was my friend called cps on me and said that i was doing drugs with my daughter when i wasn’t they didn’t do a ua on me or anything.. they have had months to get a referral for a physcological eval… and they just got the referral today for it….

I am a grandmother who maintained rights to my oldest grandchild in NORTH CAROLINA. I had grandparent visiting rights established in 1996. My daughter was a teenage mother battered by my grandaughters father. Fast forward. After a 4 year-legal battle from 2001-2004(aprox 2 years on each parent) I took custody till summer of 2006. I rescued my grandaughter from a drug environment, domestic violence and she had even been urinated on by her step father. I took custody of a traumatized 10-year old who was a
1-2 gradlevel W/O family support. Yet I have been accused of abandonment and neglect. I allowed my drandaughter to go to SC with her former babysitter and family to provide me with badly needed respite and so my grandchild could play with other children and experience a family environment. Over the latter
4-years of the lawsuit I underwent 6-7 investigations the last I was ill and worn down and every resource gone I couldn’t defend myself.
WAKE COUNTY DSS harrased me and wore me down to nothing. The parents and the I thought trusted babysitter all conspired false allegations claiming they did not know how to get a hold of me that summer and i abandonmened my grandchild. It was summer time school was out and I was staying in a motel looking for cheaper housing. When I didn’t show to court due to inapropriate notice, My grandaughter was awarded to CPS instead of my daughter and was placed back with the paternal grandparents whom perfomed ritualistic genital soap washings well documented in the court records, and her violent father who she never wanted to return too. That summer, CPS threatened to arrest me if I picked her up from the babysitter but the court record states I abandoned her with no mention of the threat to arrest me.
I want my good name restored and all allegations cleared and for the court who sided with me for 10 years to hear the true story. My case clearly shows had I not been involved my grandaughter could be seriously harmed if she is not now in her current home yet I was accused of neglect. I have learned so much about God given rights. Even though I knew the reasons were good I felt severe guilt for taking my grandaughter from my daughter, because to win you have to take advantage of your own daughters weaknesses as a progressed drug addict at the time. The difference between myself and CPS is i have a contiance when CPS doesn’t. I would have kept my grandaughter safe until my daughter was better and then return my grandchild to her. I lost two other grandchildren who have been addopted out luckily by reports to a nuturing parents. But I believe CPS took advantage of my daughters rights to accomplish this. And I was not concidered because I’m accussed with curent unresolved allegations. MY CASE IS STRONG FOR GRANDPARENTS. Please Attorney’s I need advise! My life is ruined.

I need help for my daughter. She was abused by the CPS of Fairfax county for more than 7 hours to get”evidence” against her father. They used threats and physical force against her. She hasn’t slept through the night for more than a month and is suffering from anxiety and panic attacks.
In a screaming tirade by the CPS social worker in the office of the elementary school false accusations of actions by my spouse were yelled out to reveal to the community that my child was a victim of sexual abuse. The very next day she started receiving calls from other children harassing her. I have been confronted by community members and intimidated as well.
I filed complaints with CPS over their actions and have been blown off. Their actions have permanently damaged my child and she needs help.
I am interested in help for her to pursue a case against the state for the damage they have done to her .

Someone out there please help represent me. My case oringinated out of Jefferson County Colorado. And I am getting pumeled by these ####@@@@ers in the Civil court relm. I defeated and was aquitted of criminal child abuse in a jury trial for falling asleep after drinking on my own couch. Children age 9 & 10 were sent to bed but they did awaken to call my ex their mother and she told them to call 911. They never tried to awaken me. I still can’t get the ####@@@@ers to let up and let me be back with my kids. They have made me jump through so many rediculous hoops for my children and abused them in the process. I had custody of the child prior to the incedent and I want it back now laws were broken and this is a bunch of ##@# shit.

I live in a very small town in Idaho. My 3 yr. daughter is Autistic and is being discrimanted aginst the very school that is there to help her. They don’t want her there so they are always calling the social services on us reporting us for child neglect. For instance, We have a great doctor here for our daughter. The school insisted that the doctor didn’t know what she was doing and insisted that we take our daughter over a mountain pass in very hazardous road conditions. When we didn’t comply with the schools request they turned us into the CPS for child neglect. They also turned in my youngest daughter to which they have never seen. I have a crystal clear background. I don’t do drugs, I don’t have a criminal background. My childern are a picture of health. They are in the 100% in height and weight. They get a bath everynight. Now a social CPS agent has said some threatening language during 2 different meetings to me and I need and want a attorny right now. The closest town to me is either Missoula MT or Idaho Falls ID.

Imran, I’m sorry to say I know nothing about getting visas. I do know that a law was passed here a few years back that made it easier for CPS to target children from other countries. Have you been to the diplomats there? This seems like it could become an issue for embassies to be aware of… but honestly, I don’t know much about international affairs. The only country I’ve been to besides the USA is Canada, and I’ve only been there twice in the last fifty years.

Julie, my sincere sympathies on the absence of your daughter. I too had a separation from two daughters when they were teens. After they became eighteen, I managed to re-establish relations with one of them; the other one has PAS - Parental Alienation Syndrome. I’m planning to write an article about PAS soon, for this site.

i need a sincere, competent attorney for my case. it involves my autistic son who is in state custody and they are trying to get me to take a psych evaluation and admit to instigating his autistic behaviors. i finally seen the case plan and it is awful, these people want to make me out to be a kook and dont understand anything about autistic behaviors. I see myself having to go to trial but i have alot of evidence (records, etc.) against everybody involved with my son and i just need a good attorney to help me and im willing to fight them in court and make them prove that i neglected my son.

i need a good defense lawyer to fight the accusations cps is saying about me and my boyfriend. it started when my 23 day old daughter passed away.they accuse me of inadequate guardianship, lack of medical care because of a pediatrician that recommended. he prescribe the billy blanket and a few days later it burned so i gave the tanning bed in a bag back to them… i have documents to prove that this blanket did this so, i also have pic of the burns. i went to my oldest pediatrician to see what he recommended and he recommended that i use direct sun light. i did what i was suppose to and followed the doc orders. her high buliruben count started to go down. but on dec 7 my daughter passed away and cps keeps writing allegations against me and my boyfriend. so i tried to amend these documents and they ignored me. now there saying im the blame for the fatality of her.. this is hurting us in the worst way. as recent my daughters death is and to have cps keep pressing harder on us about thing that are not true the more i believe they are trying to take my oldest from me and I’m scared. I’m not sure what I’m suppose to do so I’m asking for help. i have a lot more thing i would like to talk to a lawyer about and I have all the documents to fight this. i just need someone to point me in the right direction.

I have spoke to a grandmother in my county who has been unable to get her grandchildren, she has told me if I find something she can do to help others to let her know.
Well I spoken to several parents who had either been threatened or coerced by social workers to either do third party custody or relinquish their rights to avoid the embarrassment that they would be put through in termination trial.
Most of these parents have been bullied and abused by the social workers and their public defenders. So bad they are unable to stand up to these social workers and public defenders.
After speaking to some of these parents I got an idea and discussed it with the grandmother who said she was willing to do something, I told her that we should start a local group helping parents going through the system stand up to these people and how to prepare for court.
Make our group a place where parents can become confident enough not to ask there public defenders for advice but demand that they represent them the way they tell them to. And demand the public defender respect them and their wishes.
Some of these parents have been kicked down some much by these people it is hard to get back up. We do have to build each other back up and say you will not abuse me anymore because I am not afraid of your threats against me or my family.
It is time for good parents to stop relinquishing their rights, these are your children and your children are counting on you. And yes I have been a victim of cps and public defenders but not anymore I have stood up to them and will continue to do so.
All for one one for all, We The People will be heard. Now is the time to stand up to corruption, if not for yourself, find the strength to stand up for your children you brought them into to this world, do not sign away your most precious gift. If you lose appeal appeal appeal.

I am a mother of 4 wonderful childern that where to from my home and aligation after aligation was summitted to the courts and pulled through by CPS to where my kids where took my youngest ones are so called adopted and my oldest ones are in mental hospitals put on their meds which they say they need but has caused much harm when one didnt need no meds untill CPS got her well now my oldest daughter is 18 as of yesterday and they are saying head superviser of CPS states wont release till 21 let me also state my kids are NATIVE AMERICAN and have a income of 100,000 a year THEIR MONEY FOR BEING IN A FEDERAL RECONIZED TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like i am the nothing of the world for not having enough money to get a good lawyer that dont work for the state taking kids from their parents i need a laywer to get my daughter out of their SO CALLED CARE!!!!!!! plz help me plz my daughter and son want to come home and i have to have this weigh heavy in my mind to where i have night mares on a night bases due to the crap that CPS puts so many familys through!!!!!!

I am a veteran grandmother who needs help to keep my grandchildren from a thrid displacement by CPs.This began in another state and is now in this state.My grands will be good with me.I am facing retialiation from the workers in the state where this began.There is no justifyable reason to keep my grandchildren from me.I wrote and called many alledged advocates in the state this originated.Please help save my grand from this profiling targeted low income mothers and children for foster homes.CPS has shown their extreme bias and misogynistic tactics on whom they target.My grandchildrens removal was unjust and inhumane.Please my grand children have been displaced 3 times in the discriminatory acts of CPS.I have no computer but the person above will take your number and pass it on to me.My grands have suffered irreversable pain from the discrimnatory acts of cps that lead to their not being placed withj me.God restore our family becuase we know vengence is not ours but is the Lord Gods In jesus name help the mothers families targeted by AMerica Corrupt CPS machine amen

CPS is supposed to follow the ICPC ( Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children)
That is Federal law.
However, no one here can guide you unless you indicate your states where this case began and the current states.

I gave birth to a healthy, beautiful, and much loved little boy Nov. 30-2008. Long story short, the C.P.S. came to my hospital room with my soon to be ex-mother-in-law and bullied me,shamed me, shunned me, and tricked me into thinking I was signing a third party safety paper. Number one they were from a neighboring counties C.P.S. office, the ex-mother-in-law has friends in that office. It turns out that what I had signed was a simple third party to leave the hospital aggrement, and not a safety paper at all. It was almost two weeks later that the C.P.S. was even involved in my case, which is only then that it was a case. It has now been moved to the correct county, but I still feel like there is some cover ups going on. And this is not the whole story, and I’m not without fault in all this, and do and did stand up for my wrongs and ask for and am in the process of getting help for my problems. The fact that the C.P.S. can and did tear a young family apart with such disregard is beyound me,my family, and legal advisors. Which by the way is something that I personally I can’t afford,and without the LORD and a very caring and giving family member it would not have been possible to have retained the consel to try and get my baby back. Yes thats right I have not been allowed to spend even one night with my baby. I have never known this kind of pain and loss. Please any and all advice and help in any way would be so much appreciated and blessed by GOD. I am desprate to be with my new baby. Thank You

Jennifer, I went through that pain and loss of having a baby taken away at birth. In fact she was two months premature and even before her due date was in a foster home. It is sheer hell to get through a CPS case but if you take care to do everything the judge requests (look on your court paperwork for a list) and if you learn as much as you can, you may be one of the lucky ones to get your baby back. More than half of children taken are returned to their parents so don’t despair, but lead the cleanest, most upright life possible, do what the judge requests, and get some support, for example, at the FightCPS Message Board. No matter what, this experience will make you a stronger and more capable person. I wish you all the best. Learn everything you can about CPS because you will need that information!!!

WELL, ON DECEMBER 20,2008 CPS TOOK OUR SON AWAY FROM US. IT WAS THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED. I FELT AS IF MY LIFE THAT I HAD JUST STARTED WAS OVER. BUT WE CANT GIVE UP WE HAVE A LITTLE BOY THAT NEEDS US MORE THAN ANYTHING. I NEW LIFE WAS HARD, I NEW THAT THINGS HAPPENED FOR A REASON, BUT WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR THIS WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE US. ARE WE BEING PUNISHED FOR OUR DISABILITIES AND FOR HAVING A BABY? WHAT IS IT…
OUR SON WAS BORN A HEALTHY BABY 8LBS, 20 1/2 IN. FULL HEAD OF HAIR AND THE CUTEST BABY EVER. NOAH’S DUE DATE WAS OCT. 9TH BUT HE CAME ON THE 6TH, BY A C-SECTION DUE TO MY SEZIURES. WE STAYED IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 4 DAYS. WHEN WE WERE DISCHARGED NOAH WAS 7LBS 15OZ. HE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF JAUNDICE. BUT OTHERWISE HE WAS GOOD. IT TOOK AWHILE FOR ME TO HEAL, AARON WAS THERE ALL THE TIME, AN EXCITED DADDY. NOAH MADE A PEEP AT NIGHT AND DAD WAS AWAKE LOOKING OVER HIM. WHEN NOAH WAS 11 WKS. OLD I MADE A DR. APPOINTMENT, CAUSE I THOUGHT THERE MITE BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIS RIGHT UPPER EYE, HE WAS BORN WITH THE REDNESS BUT I DIDNT KNOW IF IT WAS OK HE’D BEEN GRABBING AT IT AND IT HAD LOOKED SWOLLEN FOR 2 DAYS. THE DR. PRESCRIBED A MEDICATION AND WE WERE SENT HOME. NOAH IS NOW 2 WKS. OLD WE BROUGHT HIM BACK TO THE DR.S CAUSE HE HAD DIARREAH AND WAS VOMITING FOR 2 DAYS. MY NEICE HAD A VIRAL GASTROENTERITIS AND HE WAS EXPOSED TO IT. SO THE DR. THOUGHT WE’D WATCH HIM, WATCH FOR SIGNS OF DEHYDRATION. I WAS TOLD HOW TO TELL FOR DEHYDRATION AND WAS SENT HOME. NOW NOAH IS 3WKS. AND WE BROUGHT HIM BACK TO THE DR. HE WAS STILL VOMITING. SHE SAID HE OK AND HES HEALTHY. NOAH IS 4 WKS OLD HE HAD BEEN VOMITTING AFTER EVERY BOTTLE WE TOOK HIM BACK TO THE DR. WE HAD CHANGED HIS FORMULA TO SOY CAUSE WE THOUGHT THAT MITE BE WHATS WRONG, WE ALSO STARTED ADDING A SMALL AMOUNT OF CEREAL TO. THE DR EXPLAINED WHAT (Pyloric stenosis which: is a condition that can cause your baby to vomit forcefully and often and may cause other problems such as dehydration and salt and fluid imbalances). SHE SAID IF HE WORSENS OR PERSISTS THEN HE WILL NEED AN ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND.
ON NOV.27, 2008 WE HAD TO TAKE NOAH TO THE ER BECAUSE HIS GUMS STARTED BLEEDING. WHY WE DON’T KNOW? THE ER DID NOTHING, JUST SENT US HOME. NOAH IS NOW JUST SHY 2 DAYS OF BEING 2 MONTHS OLD. WE TOOK HIM TO THE DR’S TO GET HIS FIRST SHOTS HE TOOK IT WELL, ALSO I HAD TALKED TO THE DR. ABOUT HIM BRUISING EASY WHEN HES ASLEEP HE WAKES UP WITH THEM.WHEN U PICK HIM UP HE DID. SO SHE SENT US TO THIS HEALTHCARE LABORATORY, TO GET HIS BLOOD DRAWN. TWO LADY’S CAME IN TO DO IT, WHY IT TOOK TWO I DON’T UNDERSTAND. (THEY HAD ME HOLD MY SON UPWARD IN MY LAP WITH MY HANDS ON HIS CHEST.WHILE THEY LOOKED FOR A VEIN. THE ONE LADY ASKED ME TO SQUEEZE HIM TIGHTER, I JUST SAT THERE AND HELD HIM SHE THEN PUT HER HAND ON MINE N PUSHED. MY SON WAS SCREAMING SO BAD I THEN TURNED AN BLEW IN HIS MOUTH SO HE COULD TAKE A BREATH.) THEY POKED HIM 2-3 TIMES IN HIS LEFT ARM, 1-2 TIMES IN HIS RIGHT ARM AND 1 IN EACH HAND. THEY GOT A LITTLE BLOOD AND ASKED ME TO COME BACK ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY. I THEN CAME BACK WITH MY FRIEND BRIANNA ON MONDAY, AGAIN IT WAS TWO LADYS ONE WAS THE SAME FROM THE LAST TIME AND THE OTHER WAS ONE I HAVENT SEEN BEFORE. AT FIRST THEY WERE GONNA TRY TO TAKE BLOOD WHILE HE WAS IN HIS CARSEAT. BUT THE LADY FROM THE LAST TIME WE CAME IN PICKED HIM UP AND HELD HIM, SHE HELD HIS LEFT UPPER ARM ABOVE HIS ELBOW WHILE THE OTHER HELD BELOW HIS ELBOW THEY SEARCHED FOR A VEIN THEY JUST POKED HIM THEY SHOOK THE NEEDLE AROUND IN HIS ARM HE SCREAMED WHILE SHE HELD HIM STILL. THEY THEN POKED HIM IN HIS HAND (LEFT) AND GOT BLOOD.
NEXT DAY OR SO NOAH DIDN’T MOVE HIS ARM IN THE MORNING HE JUST KEPT IT STILL. I CALLED THE DR. TO MAKE A APT. FOR THE NXT DAY OR SO. BUT NOAH STARTED MOVIN HIS ARM HIMSELF DURING THE EVENING WITH NO PROBLEM, SO I DIDN’T TAKE HIM.
ON DEC. 13TH I BROUGHT NOAH BACK TO THE ER, NOAH HAD BEEN CRYIN, FALLIN ASLEEP WAKING UP OFF AND ON. THE LAST TIME NOAH WOKE UP HE CRIED A LITTLE I SEEN A LITTLE SWELLING ON HIS LEFT SIDE OF HIS FACE, IT LOOKED AS IF SOMETHING WAS GOING FROM HIS FOREHEAD DOWN HIS WHOLE LEFT SIDE. I GOT HIM READY WE GOT READY AN WENT TO THE ER, AS WE WERE LEAVING WE NOTICED UNDER HIS EYE STARTED TO BRUISE. WHILE WE WERE IN THE ER I WAS LOOKING AT HIM AND I NOTICE HIS ARM SWOLLEN HIS HAND WAS AND IT WAS BRUISING TO AS IF IT WASN’T GETTING CIRCULATION. I TOLD THE NURSE TO GET THE DR. SHE SAID SHE WOULD AND SHE’D NOTE IT. WE NEVER SEEN THE DR. AND HE NEVER LOOKED AT HIS HAND. NURSES CAME IN AND GAVE HIM 2 SHOTS, TO TAKE THE SWELLING DOWN. THEY SAID IT WAS ERYSIPELAS (WHICH IS A SUDDEN FORM OF CELLUITIS.) I DIDN’T BELIEVE IT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG. THEY ASKED US TO COME BACK THE NEXT EVENING AND WE DID, THEY GAVE HIM TWO MORE SHOTS THEN CALLED THE POLICE TO FILE A CPS REPORT FOR SUSPECTED CHILD-ABUSE BUT THE CLAIM WAS WITHOUT WARRENT. ON DEC. 18TH, I TOOK NOAH TO A CHECK UP BECAUSE DR. STAMMLER WAS OUT AND I COULDN’T GET ONE SOONER. SO DR. DANNI BASSET CHECKED NOAH SHE SAID HE WAS FINE AND HEALTHY. SHE CHECKED HIS BLOOD TESTS AND IT SAID HIS PLATELETS WERE HIGH, AND HIS WHITE BLOOD COUNT WAS LOW. SHE TOLD ME HE WAS OK. AND I WENT HOME. NOAH AND I PLAYES FOR A BIT HE DIARREAH REAL BAD SO I GAVE HIM A BATH; HE GOT REAL TIRED I GOT HIM DRESSED AND HE TOOK A NAP. AARON WAS HOME FOR LUNCH NOAH WOKE UP HE PICKED HIM UP CHANGED HIM AND BROUGHT HIM OUT TO ME, I MADE A BOTTEL AARON NOTICED BRUISING ON THE INSIDE OF HIS RIGHT HAND, NOAH HAD IT ON HIS LEFT HAND BEFORE TO. I CALLED DR.DANNIE, SHE SENT ME TO A PEDEATRICIAN BY THE NAME OF DR. ISHI. I WENT AND SEEN HIM HE SAID NOAH WAS FINE AND HEALTHY. THAT HE MAY HAVE SUCKED ON HIS HAND TO LEAVE THE MARKS HE HAD. WHICH IS NOT RIGHT WHERE THE BRUISES WERE?
DEC.19TH, NOAH HAD A GOOD MORNING HE WOKE UP @ 8A.M HAD A BOTTLE THEN FELL BACK ASLEEP TILL AROUND 11AM. WE PLAYED FOR A BIT HE WAS FULL OF SMILES. TILL 12-12:30PM NOAH STARTED SCREAMING, I ROCKED HIM, I WALKED AROUND TILL HE FELL ASLEEP BUT HE ONLY SLEPT FOR 15-20 MINUTES. I TXT MY MOM AND SISTER ALL DAY NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO. HE FELL ASLEEP OFF AND ON THEY LASTED 4-5 MINUTES. DURING THE TIME I ONLY GOT HIM TO EAT 2 OZ. AARON GOT OFF WORK AT 5:30PM, HE WAS STILL CRYING WE TRIED FEEDING HIM AGAIN AND GIVING HIM PEDALYTE. WE TRIED FOR AWHILE LONGER HE CALMED DOWNA BIT, BUT I WAS STILL SCARED. SO WE WENT TO THE ER AGAIN, HE FELL ASLEEP. THEY SAID HE WAS OK, BUT I DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE ANY CHANCES I FELT SOMETHING WRONG. THEY TOOK URINE, BLOOD AND DID 2 XRAYS. DR PAK CAME IN HE SAID OUR SON HAD A UTI (URINARY TRACT INFECTION) HE GOT A SHOT. THEY SAID HE’D BE OK WITH FLUIDS. HE SAID THEY’D SEND A PEDIATRICIAN IN TO SEE MY SON AN NEVER DID. I ASKED HIM IF RADIOLOGY LOOKED AT NOAHS X-RAYS AND IF THEY WERE OK, OR IF THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG? HE TOLD ME THEY LOOKED AT HIS X-RAYS AND HE’S FINE. THEY SENT US HOME ASKED US TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR A REVAUATION.
DEC.20TH, WE RECEIVED A CALL AT 7:30AM, SAYING WE NEEDED TO COME IN THAT THEY NEEDED TO SEE OUR SON. BABY WAS STILL ASLEEP SO WE WAITED FOR HIM TO WAKE THEY CALLED AGAIN AT 10:15AM WE WERE NOW ON OUR WAY. DR. SATRUM CALLED LODI POLICE ON SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE. NOAH HAD MULTIPLE BILATERAL HEALD RIB FRACTURES LEFT MORE CONSPICUOUS THAN RIGHT.ALSO A FRACTURE TO THE LEFT MID HUMERU WITH SOME HEALING INCLUDING CALLUS FORMATION AS WELL AS PERIOSTEAL REACTION. SO THEY TOOK OUR BABY FROM US.
TODAY IS FEBUARY 5, 2009 NOAH GOT TOOKEN ON DECEMBER 20, 2008… MY SON HASN’T SEEN A DR. AT ALL. TO SEE IF HE WAS OK AND WHEATHER THERE MIGHT BE A MEDICAL PROBLEM OR NOT. THE FOSTER MOTHER HAD A SPECIALIST I THINK? COME IN AND LOOK AT HIM TEST HIM HE PASSED HIS HEARING HIS VISION. HE’S 4 MONTHS AND HE DOESN’T REACH FOR ANYTHING, OR BAT AT TOYS. NOAH HAS MUSCLE PROBLEMS IN HIS LEGS HE STAYS STRAIGHT AND WON’T BEND. SO THERE GONNA WORK WITH HIM SO HE CAN. SO HE WONT HAVE PROBLEMS WALKING. NOAH HAS HIS FIRST APPOINTMENT SINCE THEY TOOK HIM ON FEBURARY 6TH. ALSO A FOLLOW UP ON FEBURARY 10TH BECAUSE THE LAST APPOINTMENT WAS INCONCLUSIVE.
WE WENT TO COURT ON JANUARY 27TH THE JUDGE ORDERED THAT HE’D BE PLACED WITH MY GRANDMOTHER. CPS TOLD US THAT THE JUDGE LEFT THE CASE OPEN IF CPS FELT THAT THEY DIDNT WANT THE BABY TO BE PLACED THERE THEY DIDNT HAVE TO. SO ON FRIDAY THE FEB.6TH NOAH WAS GOING TO BE PLACED WITH MY GRANDMOTHER, BUT CPS DECIDED TO KEEP HIM. WHY? BECAUSE CPS FEELS THAT MY GRANDMA WONT ABIDE BY THE RULES. BY KEEPING AARON AND I AWAY FROM NOAH EXCEPT FOR OUR VISIT DAYS. WHY IS CPS DOING THIS WHY ARE THEY RUINING PEOPLES FAMILIES. PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME.

I would like to sue CPS and sue the state of Iowa they wrongfully imprisoned me deliberately to build a case against me to keep my daughter. I was beaten by my ex the non native parent and it was all documented by police reports and photo graphs. I spent nearly a month in jail on aggrivated assault charges that were wiped off my record in 2004 by the prosecutors office after I contacted them to let them know I wrongfully charged and imprisoned. I had a paid attorney and he never brought it to anyones attention that I should not have ever been charged with those charges. I was young then and naive but I have a case to sue the state, my attorney, and the prosecution offices and am at a point inn my life where I have alot more knowledge but I need represetation.

my girlfriend has a case with cps and cps keeps saying that to do whatever my parole officer says and when i ask my parole they say to do whatever cps ask me to do all i want to do is to be able to move back into my home and see my kids i ask them what i need to do to be able to do that tell me and i will do it but everyone keeps lieing to me all i want is for someone to help me.

To whom this may concern I am a divorced mother of a 13 yr old son from chicago I moved here to ATL to start life over. My nightmare started Jan 28, 2008 My son is pre teen and we have no family here his teacher told me my son was acting up in school and missing homework, anyway I whopped my son as I thought this was the way to handle the problem because this was how I was raised needless to say since my son is light I left belt marks on his back not knowing it was against the law. My son was taken to a foster home where he stayed 4 months I was not able to talk to him or see him. I do not have a good relationship with my “mother” but I love my son and wanted him with family so I signed temp guardship to her not knowing that she would turn aganist me. My “mother is a jehovah witness and has dis owned me because I do not choose that life style. I do not do drugs, don’t drink or smoke. I am stable I have work at my place of business for 5 yrs and I was working on my BA in business marketing before all this happen. Well the caseworkers which I have had 3, don’t help e don’t return calls, nor do the therapist or free lawyers I have to hunt them down just to get info and even then it’s I don’t know. I have finished mt case plan in 3 months last yr so why don’t I have my son? I was told in court that after mar if my son how has been coached says he does not want to come home will not come home. I need help I don’t want to give my rights to anyone to rasie my son that is my job and he should have been home. please help me or tell me who can help me. Thanks so very much in advance.. La’ Trice

I’ve raised my grandaughter since birth (now 9). I believe she was wrongfully removed by cps. their was never abuse or neglect and everytime I ask why I can’t have her, each time they give different reason. caseworkers cannot provide evidence as to what they write in the files. need help! need attorney!

I need help!!!!I am involned in a DCFS case that is because my exhusbands now wife slapped my (at the time)3 yr. daughter whome just turned 5. I live in little rock AR but the case started in Jonesborow.DCFS has walked all over my parental rights from day one.When i picked my duaghter from her father with a outline hand print on her face I took her straight to Baptist Med Hosp. to press crarges.I couldn’t get any information from DCFS on the investion until months later. By then DCFS had given his parents temp. custody without my knowledge.AT this time i finally got what i thought was a good laywer and got temp custody. Well now DCFS is PISSED OFF becuase they where doing everything they could to keep me out and give my custdoy away. So now they are coming up with B!S! tring to say I am unfit.Here is the best part since my daughter has not been taken from me by DCFS I can get no state help what so ever. This lost single mom of 30 needs help in the worst way. Somone, anyone,PLEASE?

PRO-BONO or I will work for legal services, I’ve worked as a Maid, a CNA & I’m very good with children & pets. I have tons of references I can give! I believe with all my heart & soul, that he should be back with the family that he knows and loves! Myself & his aunts & uncle, my childrens ages were 1 to 8 when he came to live with us at 8 months of age. My children are devastated & the little boy WANTS to come back to his HOME! Julie, how long ago did that happen? Have you checked statute of limitations laws to see if you can still sue? You can go to the courthouse and look for similar cases, then contact the lawyers who have sued CPS in the past.

Peggy, the father will have to go through CPS to get his son. They’ll either agree to give him the child or put him on a service plan so he can jump through hoops too. Get a good lawyer.

Billy, didn’t you get a service plan when you went to family court? The judge decides what you need to do to get approved to live with the kids again. If you haven’t been to family court you should see a lawyer about that.

La’ Trice, do you have a court appointed attorney? Did you read the page about making your attorney work for you rather than for the county that pays him? The link is in the message above.
Even though you completed your case plan in three months, they will delay reuniting you with your child until the next court date and by then may have another list of things for you to do… or may give your child back. Every case is different so it is hard to say what they will do.

Im a grandmother, my grandchildren were taken away from my daughter by cps, they were with me for about 6 months but due to the childrens behavior it was decided a foster care placement would be best. the children in the nidst of all this got a new case worker who never read the case file, and now wont let my grandchildren call me or me call them, i have had 1 supervised visit tho why i have to be supervised i havent a clue, i never bused my grandchildren, i dont drink or do drugs , im employed full time and not on any meds and do not recieve ssi payment for being crazy, but they let the crazy grandma have visits, i just wanna have some visits and be able to call my grandkids and have them call me, now they are talking about the foster parents getting guardian ship and possibly adopting my grandkids, dont i have some right, cps has did nothing but lie and cut all my other childen( their aunts and uncles) out of their lifes, my other kids have all passed background checks,i dont get it, my grandchildren are 13 and 12, not infants, we should be allowed to have family contact, this is major bs i need a lawyer, my daugter has a lawer, my ex son in law a felon in prision gets to have a lawyer, the children have a lawyer and have stated all along they want reunification with their mother, why am i denied any help or say?

depending upon your state, you might be able to petition for grandparent visitation. It is not easily accomplished when you are up against CPS. The AARP might be able to steer you to an attorney.

cps has kidnapped my kids. i went to sherrif and told that my x husband was sexually innappropriate to my dtr. they referred us to scotty’s house, where cps removed my kids although i had kicked my husband out of my house. cps has not givrn me ordered visitation. my son is 13 and my dtr 15.i need to sue the state of tx,cps, thanks, christie

I need to know what my legal rights are in the state of Oklahoma. The CPS took my children and they are now trying to say our home is abusive. I was told I only have the right to see my children one hour a month. Can someone please help me find the knowledge to fight these criminals.

My daughter is in danger, she is being abused, she even told me in a desperate attempt, and I was never allowed to speak to her again. Her adoptive parents are child sexual abusers who lost custody of they’re own kids, and cps knew this. They pushed the adoption through despite the criminal background because they signed a criminal disclosure, they have committed several acts as a matter of record,all having to do with child sexual abuse. Because she is adopted I cant get my rights back. I am doing the appeal by myself. I have good case on merits. They did violate my rights in many ways. By law They should not have done what they have done and got away with.

I recently applied for a job working with kids with emotional disorders but was denied clearance because I had a conviction on my record from 25 years ago. The conviction was in no way related to children and I have testimony from the key witness for the state that his testimony was coerced, fabricated, and fraudulent. I have no other criminal charges on my record as a juvenile or adult and no history of violence on my record either. I believe that at the very least that my constitutional rights are being violated because of an over extension of the law. Is it not cruel and excessive punishment to disqualify someone from employment when there is absolutely no evidence that children would be in danger? Please understand that I support the efforts to protect children because I have five of my own but I need some legal advice/representation to remove this obstacle in my life. I have attempted to address the illegal conviction but have not been succesful so far however I cannot sit by and let the crime that was committed agianst me continue to prosper. Its time to fight back!!!!

Several years ago I started a youth organization that provided inner city youth with opportunities to participate in fun and positive activities and to also receive scholarships for career advancements. I recently acquired my Masters Degree in sociology and made application for a job working with youth. I was denied clearance because of a charge that I had on my record 25 years ago that is not even related to the welfare of children. The bigger issue was that the charge was false and I was found innocent of 5 of the seven offenses brought agianst me. I need a lawyer that has a good understanding of the constitutional issue of cruel and excessive punishment. I would get in touch with my State Assemblyperson to contest the charges.
They can be expunged. Heck, even professionals ( such as nurses) can have their drug offenses mitigated by the Nursing Boards.
However, your letter was very clear and I want to thank you for that. You have clearly demonstrated why CPS is such a pernicious institution.
However, if this offense was a felony there may be other legal ramifications.
It is difficult to know an attorney’s track record in contesting such charges.
Suggest you research similar cases to yours thru legal sites, and see which attorney was successful.

My brothers children were taken from them in San Diego County, CA. Currently they are in foster care. The county went through the process and I have been approved to be their foster parent by San Diego County CPS although, I live in Stanislaus County. They won’t send me the boys though. I need to know what I can do legally to get my nephews back into their family untill their parents figure their selves out.

Two years ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. A miracle baby and my last born of three.That day at the hospital a nurse called CPS on a so called positive amphetamine/methenphetamine test that I gave to them earlier knowingly and willingly. I(Every Hospital does that) I had nothing to hide. I do not do drugs nor have I ever and have a completely clean record.
Well, they took all three of my children away immediately on an emergency removal and had three days to investigate me. They didn’t. Instead they assumed they had something on me.
The next three months were them trying to dig up dirt in which they found none so the social workers then made a complete report up on me! False Allegations! It could easily be found out through paperwork to the contrary and persons that will stand up and say they never even talked to CPS yet were said to have said things about me proving a history of drug use.
However, my public defender said NOTHING on my behalf and the judge never even read it. He just signed it and made me do 6 months of many different classes. Due to having a new born they said I had only 6 months to complete these classes or my children will go up for adoption and then threw me into the streets with, no money,car,phone,shelter,clothes, ect away from my kids and husband of 10 years where I could not be then consistent with my classes.
They did not care.They took my parental rights away. It has now been 2 years and I live 5 hours away (only place where my family could help) and never get to see my kids. They gave my 9 year old and 2 year old to their abusive father. He had an affair during all this madness because of it and so a women could take care of our newborn. He had no idea how to and since she is living with them now and he has physical custody won’t let me know what is going on with them or will even let me see the kids because he has a new women.
The courts says it is completely up to him if I’m a part of their lives or not! Please Help.
During all this my civil rights were violated time and time again and I could do nothing about it. Including things like signing under duress three times. My attorney was not even there during mediation when he was suppose to tell me what to do and they said I could not leave without signing.
Social workers were the same way and manipulated me and lied to me all through it. They told me I and my baby was positive and it turns out that my baby was NEGATIVE of all the things they claimed I was on and when I called the lab to get a copy of my positive test they said there wasn’t any only a bunch of Negatives! It goes on and on! Too many things to write. Please Help Me!

I am the father of 5 beautiful childrn. On new years eve of 2009 my wife and had an argument at her place of work. I had the kids with me. I left angry and when i did so I peeled out of the parking lot . A policeman saw this and stopped me immediately. I was upset I didnt comply with his orders right away. I was arrested for a week while i was in custody my wife wascohersed into signing a safety plan with cps under the impression that if she didn’t they would take our kids now we are not allowed to be alone in our home with OUR OWN KIDS ! If we dont follw their plan they threatend to take us to court and ay there is a 99% chance the will take our kids in to protective custody.We dont want our family split up and we dont want our god given right to be parents takrn away we need help and advice … please if anyone can help please contact me a.s.a.p

Familes in Wadena, MN are loosing children in poor communities. Most being on low income. Finding attorneys to fight for them just does not seem possible,
One family had gotten the children back, only to have cps and law enforcement to come and pick them up again. This time a 9 yr old daughter refused to go and was upset, one officer had his hands on her throat while another handcuffed the 9 yr old.
These families need someone that is not afraid to fight for them. Can you help?

Cheryl, please speak to an attorney about your daughter’s abuse in her adoptive home. Just get appointments with family law attorneys in your area - you may have to speak with quite a few before you get the answers you need. Also check your courthouse for local cases filed against CPS and find out what attorneys are filing them.
Your daughter should report this abuse to her teachers as well.

Michelle, I’d file for a state administrative hearing. Most likely an Administrative Law Judge will tell the county to start transfer proceedings. You may have to get an attorney’s help since your name isn’t on the case.

Ellen, you have my complete sympathy. Two years is a long time. Has the CPS case been closed? Have your parental rights been terminated?
If your CPS case is closed, collect and organize your paperwork and then file for visitation and/or custody in family court. You need to be able to prove that the charges against you were false.

Ravel, have you contacted attorneys in your area? Also try neighboring counties as sometimes local attorneys are afraid to go against the county. To get your rights back you’ll have to take this to court - either that or follow the service plan to the letter and hope the case will close within a year or so.

Patricia, look through the records at your local courthouse, and at neighboring county courthouses. Find attorneys that are filing cases against CPS. Also try the nearest Federal court house.

Please someone help me. I have had my 3 kids taken out of my home based solely on a phone call. I was investigated from September 29, 2008 to approximately February 5, 2009. At this time I signed papers from my social worker to have case closed. My husband hasn’t lived in the home since september. He comes to visit and such. A week after I signed papers the worker said was to close my case she arrives at my home stating she is to remove my kids temporarily because of a phone call. I didn’t get to plead my case and there were no police escort with her. She also did not stay to make sure the kids had been removed and taken to where they were going. I got to choose who they stayed with but that isn’t the point. my kids were taken for no reason. I have done nothing wrong. I was told that it was okay for my husband to come visit and now they are saying it isn’t. Someone has claimed that he has been living here the whole time. I am already bipolar and this is tearing me apart. Those kids are my livelyhood and my soul. I don’t even know what to do since they have been gone. I feel helpless. I need someone to please help me with my case. I have proof that my husband hasn’t been here. The man he was staying with in Florida has said he will do what he can to help. Please help me get my kids back.

The police have wrongfully kidnapped our son without even arresting us or giving reasonable explanation. A burgler was breaking into our house so we called the police for help, they apprehended the suspect but then started breaking down the door to our home without warning (thinking there was burglers inside), we were shocked by this and did not want them to come in, especially after lying to us about having a search warrant (courts were closed today, we know because we tried to get a restraining order against the burglar), we thought the police themselves could be burglars/accomplices. We eventually let them in when the head seargent arrived, only to be handcuffed and have CPS arrive. I was outraged by this and called the CPS worker a “fucking jew”, which she exclaimed to be the reason for taking our child away from us tonight, though no charges were pressed. Please advise thank you.

I am trying to file an intervention on my daughters case. My daughter is on drugs, and she abandoned the baby with me. I had the baby for about 12 hours, and I called CPS on her. The following day, I (regretfully) gave my granddaughter to the CPS worker.
I just learned that my son-in-law (estranged) is not the baby’s father.
CPS said that they couldn’t look at me for placement because I “gave her to them”. I want my granddaughter back!
Please, someone, I am desperate. I don’t qualify for free legal aid, but I don’t have the resources available to hire an attorney on a retainer, so I am being forced to do this alone.
If there is someone who handles things like this in Fort Bend County, TX, I can make a monthly payment for assistance.
PLEASE!!! I have to get my granddaughter out of CPS custody and home with me and her grandpa where she’s safe and well taken care of.

I need some advice. I am a single father. My son is 11 years old and I have been raising him since he was 4. At that time his mother adandoned him. He was taken from me two weeks ago and I still have no idea as to why. The social worker won’t tell me the reason. I am frustrated and my son is staying with my mom. Hello,
I am a former family reunification social worker. I did not plan to have that job, but wanted to assist families to reunify in any way I could. I did, in fact, do that. However, there were some people who were unable to stop physically abusing or neglecting their children. (Mostly due to substance abuse and often domestic violence).
If your child is detained by CPS, you will be noticed and have a detention hearing within a couple of days. You will be assigned an attorney, and have the opportunity to inform the Court if you have evidence the child should not be detained. After that hearing, a jurisdictional hearing occurs. That is another hearing in which you have the opportunity to address the reason why the child was removed.
If you think the social worker has not provided you with the reason, request the court report the social worker prepared for the jurisdictional hearing in that few minutes you get with your attorney before the hearing occurs. The report will leave no doubt regarding the allegations. At the hearing, you have the opportunity to state your case and provide evidence. CPS is certainly not above the law, and judges dismiss cases for lack of evidence all the time. If, however, you do physically abuse or neglect your child, complaining about CPS will not help you. I know sometimes the system does not seem to be working, but often it does. So if you do need to improve your parenting in order to take care of your child, be honest with yourself. Your child needs you. Also, know that there are social workers, attorneys, judges, and policy makers who advocate for parents.

Need help in Texas in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
Fiance has been accused of sexual abuse of my daughter. I do not believe he did it. Her allegations and the finding from her exam DO NOT match, but no one is willing to help. The police have been trying to get him to confess since day one and his pro bono attorney tried to get him to plea BEFORE HE EVEN GOT THE CASE FILE.
I don’t need a free lawyer, but I’m not rich.

In may of 2008 Cps was introduced in to my family because we were trying to get counseling for our eldest daughter Crys. Then they proceeded to inform us that they wanted to put her into fostercare which I personally have seen to be horrible for any child, so I called a family member to take her until they figured out what they wanted to do with my eldest. The investigator that we had didn’t follow procedure but also lied flat out to my family and on the paperwork that we were given as well. We then had to go to a “family meeting” which I was raked over the coals and made to look like I was a neglectful parent and didn’t care for the well-being of my children. At this point I had the other two given to my family again.. and my soon to be ex-husband and I have had to jump through Dante’s flaming hoops to get the children back but the way things have been going it looks like we are going to lose them for good. We have officially had 3 caseworkers and 3 supervisors in over 9 mths. We are looking forward to another family meeting which is going to be downright nasty (family and all) I need help badly because I am to my wits end!!! What more do I have to do to have my family back???

My daughter was taken from me July 29, 2008. cps and the police have lied in order to make a case. I know why but because the amount of money cps gets for taking and placing children really make me wonder.

Around July 20,2008 I went to Tucson Az. to visit my daughter’s mother’s (Dawn) family, who put us up in a rat infested trailer. This was the trailer Dawn’s sister (Sandy) had occupied for 14 years up to date. Days later Sandy, (who I recently found out had been smoking crack for 20 years), threatened me and the well being of my daughter . Because the property manager (Mitzi Coxx(who also smokes crack)) had blocked in my truck, I left walking to avoid any conflict in front of my daughter. Sandy called the police. I was put in cusdody without them reading my rights. 4 hours later after twisting the truth and adding some lies, they finally arrest me. I have witness’s to this incident.
The attourney the court appointed me does not return my calls, and when I do acually catch him - he only has 1-2 minutes to talk.
I don’t know much about law and the statues or the right that certain poeple have been given in these positions, all I know is THIS IS WRONG
so many people say “we’ll that’s the way it is” - no - I think if everyone stopped and realized that the only reason these people have any kind of power like that is because of people who act like that. I have read alot of letters where kids were taken (for the wrong reasons), and died. How can that ever be justified.
I was told I can only call my Daughter once a week for 1 minute. why? - the CPS worker said my daughter does not know or has any memory of anything that is going on. When I call, as soon as she hears my voice, she says “da da da da “. In the same sentence CPS said I can’t bring my Aunt to visit my daughter because it would be to dramatic.
- I HAVE MISSED 6 MONTHS OF MY DAUGHTER’S LIFE I WILL NEVER GET BACK.

I am in Ohio and need help badly. I have 3 kids ages 2, 3, and 4. This is a serious case. My kids have been gone almost a year and all is based on hear say. No evidence to back up any allegations. We completed our case plan and had home visits and the kids were to come home next month. Now out of no where our visits have been stopped and cps says the home visits are not working and they are going to have to come up with a new plan. The children act out after they leave and get to the foster home, they are really happy when they visit home and don’t want to leave home. Now cps says this behavior is not normal and are falsely accusing us of abuse and neglect that they are saying happened previously before the kids were removed and that is why they are acting out, that they are tramatized when they come here. This is devastating to us and our children. There was never any abuse or neglect in our home and I believe this is normal behavior for children this young who want to be home with their parents. We are being discriminated against. My husband is African American and I am caucasion. Our children are a mixture of the 2 races. The kids were taken due to them being dependant not due to abuse or neglect and there was never any indication of abuse or neglect. We have a nice home and everything we need for them at home. They were very well cared for and we have done everything asked of us to the full extent. Our court appointed attourney is not helping us at all. We need help to get these children home as soon as possible before they are further tramatized. This is cruelty to everyone in my family. Please help. Once again we are in Ohio. I have an excellent chance to win this case, I am a good mom, no drugs, never abused them or neglected them. They have violated my civil rights and denied me due process. I was never issued a removal order. There was never a proper investigation done either. I went on t.v. and the program has brought some publicity. The judge issued a gag order, and threatened to put me in jail and terminate my rights if I talk.
I am looking for a lawyer that will not be afraid of Des Moines, Iowas’ legal system. I would like someone who would accept payments or do probono. I can come up with some money for a deposit.

I need to fight CPS in Northern New Jersey. They took my brothers children and have prolonged this for over a year now. My niece and nephew have been in and out of foster care and in some cases were injured as evident at one of our visits. I was awarded guardianship of my 4 yo son in 2006 due to abuse and neglect from his mother and siblings.He was placed with me after an interstate compact was initiated and a home study was done.He lived with me for almost 3 yrs when I started getting pressure from CASA and Child Protective services to agree to an unsupervised lengthy visit with his mother.Reluctantly I agreed.(originally they asked for a month in one stint but I agreed to two seperate visits 2wks each)….In which he never returned home.He has mild cerbral palsy and being special needs and being special needs I believe he was influenced in making false disclosurers about my other son(who stays a couple weeks to a month in the summer times) abusing him.It was investigated In my jurisdiction and also ivestigated in my other sons jurisdiction and found to be unfounded and I know my kids…this did not happen.I have proof that none of these allegations are true.(documented) but I am still being treated like a pariah in the officiating state.I believe that because he made similar disclosures about his Maternal siblings before he came to live with me that he is in danger but it seems that because of these tactics(because his mother..also a victim knows how this system works and both of her sons offenders)..took advantage of things.

I my name is Brandi and my children was taken from me for really no reason at all. All that they had to go on is lies and hearsay. I’m not gonna be treated fairly and I know for a fact that the woman that did all this is friends with the judge. I feel as if my court appointed lawyer isn’t working for me and I have no money to pay for a lawyer. I don’t know what to do, I did nothing wrong. This Judicial system is so backwords and none of them go by the books. So if someone wants to famous come and help me fight them off. Please someone has to help me get my 3 babys back.

my name is jessica and i am 17 years old i have a son that is now 8 months old. i was taken into cps care when my son was 2 weeks old.cps also took custody of my son. i was told that the only way for me and my son to be together is if cps had custody of him i later found out it wasnt true.the case worker said she asked the judge to dismiss the case but he said no. i compleeted the service plan and still dont have custody. my court appointed attorney isnt doing anything to help and i dont kno what else to do someone please help. thank you

We are a military family torn apart by CYS in PA. Because of husbands deployment I am in Texas while my kids and there case is in PA I have made call after call for an attorney seems like no one is willing to stand up for us. Which is a real shame, I feel for all the families who are in our shoes but what really gets me is my husband is willing to die, defend and fight for our freedom but no one will do that for our family.

We have been in contact with military, JAG is for military issues. We spoke to attorneys down here who can’t do anything cause it is in Beaver County PA. We have written Reps., been to ABA ETC. Everyone seems to understand and think our case(web) is good but no will fight. He is a reservist and we made the decision to move so that we would be closer to other military families. On 10/25/08 they got a report next day CYS was at my house had may me place him out of the house. Then on 11/3/08 took my 13 & 14 to detention center and now in treatment facility. Because were 11yr was could no longer keep him he is now with a foster mom whom is willing to go to court for us, But wait I need a lawyer been trying since back in Dec,. Now husband is due to deploy Monday, if takes compassionate leave he would then be unemployed. One more not these our his step kids which he considers his own. The kids father is deceased.

CPS showed up at my door on 2/25 and said they were there to investigate a report of domestic violence that was reported by one of my daughter’s friends. They had already talked to both of my older girls at school who told them that that was not true and that it never happened. After getting over my shock of what my husband had just been accused of I told them that that was simply not true. We had an instance 12 years ago where he went to jail for domestic violence. There has been NO physical violence since then. CPS is basically telling us that we have to go through 6 to 8 weeks of counseling before they can close our case. They are making it sound like they will take our children if we don’t do it. Can they really do this? They wanted a tour of my house, to see in my fridge and cupboards, even see my 3 year old while she was napping. I feel invaded. My children are scared. People keep coming and talking to them at school. My husband is distraught that his past keeps haunting him. What can I do to end this and make them go away?

My boys were taken in April 2008, by court order. The petition to do this was full of lies and all DCF journaling has been full of lies. My boys went into foster care Dec. 5 2008 and have been removed and placed into a new foster home already. They have gotten sick after being moved the second time. I live in Michigan,I have custody of my daughter in Wayne county,they have venue. Another county gave a stranger guardianship,without consent, and no venue. CPS, made false allegations on me,I proved they were false after dealing with the courts and CPS before. I want to file a uit on this county. They placed my daughter in a home where medication has been abused,a woman died in the home, and the man that took my daughter is Now abusing pain pills as well. I NEED help. I am desperate and the system is pushing me to protect my child any means necessary!

I and my family live in Arkansas and wish to file a suit against CPS for stealing our Grandchildren/grandchildren. We were told that the oldest would have to go to a psyc evaluation should take about 3 hours when we got there they locked hime up and sent the other two children home with us. The next day they took them from school and we have not seen them since. I paid every penny I had and it was alot to an attorney who said he would get the kids home. A week later no contact with the children and he wants more money for calling DHS and making arrangements. for a hearing next Thursday.
I want these two workers fired or DHS sued. All of our 4th and 14th admendment rights have been violated.

I have custody of my 17 month old but the cps placed him with my sister. My sister has pretty much given my son to my mother even though my mother has a prior cps case. My mother is not giving me my supervized visitation rights when she has no right to have any say at all. Someone called cps saying i slap my childeren on the face … this is not true. I wouild never slap my kids or anyone. My kids are my life and i have reason to believe someone I have had words with did this.

I am a single mother of 3 girls. I originally lost custody of my children in Bowling Green KY in 2005 when my ten year marriage to their father turned violent due to his drug problem. I was told that if I could prove that I had left him, I would get my kids back. When this did not prove true, I asked my Aunt to intervene so she took the kids into her home and we gave her custody in April of 2006.
When my husband “moved on” I admittedly had trouble dealing with it and started drinking. Within 2 months, my Aunt took my children and moved to Florida. Six months later, I found out that she had taken the girls and left them to live with their father. Soon after, he was arrested again for drugs and the girls were placed in foster care. Since then, I have been desperately trying to bri ng my kids home, but the Department of Social Services won’t allow it without giving me any real reason.
My children were never beaten or unfed while in my care. My ex-husband even states on the record that I was a good mother to the kids. When the state first took interest, they were simply concerned with the domestic violence reports. The worker himself (Keith Logsdon) stated that the girls were well cared for and there was no problem with my skills as a parent. Now, with a new worker in charge, they are refusing to send my children home and taking me to court trying to terminate my rights and prove me unfit.
I do live in a constant financial struggle since I have no family to speak of and live by myself with only a few friends. I will admit I am the loner type person. But I have a good home for my children and am also honest, drug free, and clean and stand a good chance of losing this battle for my children simply because I can’t afford to hire a real attorney.
My court appointed attorney tells me that these cases never turn ou t for the parents and that the Department of Social Services always wins in this county. The CASA (court appointed special advocate) worker brags incessantly that she has “Never lost a child” (returned a child to parents) and the social worker herself (April Basham) has told me that she rarely lets children reunite with their parents in her many years as a social worker. At this point, I am being told that the girls love the foster parents so much and they are so well adjusted there that I am being selfish for continuing the battle to bring them home. They try their best to manipulate the circumstances along with me and my children using their psychology training against me at every opportunity.
Legally, the goal of this department is supposed to be to help abused children and teach the parents how to be better parents and I believe in that cause even though my kids were never abused in my care. But their goal has apparently become to simply take and keep children whose parents hit hard times due to various reasons. They took my children at the lowest point in my life and intend to keep them even after I have taken Parenting, and Domestic Violence classes, passed drug screens every time, attended counseling and therapy and sacrificed my whole world to travel the 165 mile trip every week for three years to visit them according to the agreed schedule. They say that no matter what I go through to bring my girls home, I am unfit. I simply refuse to accept that.
In their attempts to manipulate me into just surrendering, they point out how hard it will be to raise 3 girls on my own repeatedly and do their best to convince me that this situation will be hopeless smashing my dreams as often as possible. (“You’ll go under in a month or so. With Neglect on your record, you cant work as a teacher or therapist or anywhere in the psychology field”) They twist the facts to suit their stand in court and reword my own statements and take it out of context and present that to the judge as facts for the specific goal of making me look bad in court. When I confronted the worker about this, I was labeled “uncooperative” and their goal was officially changed to adoption in all their case files. I have evidence of all of this.
This department needs to be look ed at. They take your kids and make you jump through hoops of fire to bring them home all the while emotionally beating you down telling you that you’re no good and can’t win. I can’t understand why they want to keep them unless it’s a funding issue. Upon my own investigations, I have found that their funding depends on meeting a certain “quota” of children in care. Someone has to do or say something. I know I am not the only person who had dealt with this unjust bullying by the State.

We are in Phx, AZ my neighbors have claimed that my wife and i do drugs and CPS want us to submits to testing (which i refused, not because we use drugs but because the alligations are false) and have a meeting with our kids in our house in 2 days

Yes , they are evil ,hard to beat , but can be beat, of course with the help of good attorney, if they took your kids ,and you think done with malice,
you MUST find a good attorney to fight them in court who knows their game, if you live in a state, other than california ,you need to call every single Lawyer in the yellow pages for an advise, if you live in California call Attorney Robert Powell 408-553-0200, or E-mail him ;rpowell@rrpassociates.com, the CPS lawyer. if you are unhappy with his advise , still don’t give up, call every single attorney in the yellow pages , but you MUST, MUST,MUSt remember to VIDEO TAPE any conversation with CPS (of course when you do that , you , you must tell them , you are tapeing them) ,Robert Powell won us a $150 thousands , since no where in the settelment it says confidential , I can say the name of the county (San Mateo California), and Redwood city ,california, if you want know the name of the defendent s employee , please ask me , here on this site. I am looking for an attorney in Nebraska to try and get family member children back into our home. THey are now placed in an adoptive home there and they are saying that that is the avenue that they are going with. Also need an attorney in Missouri that is not affraid to file a law suit against the social worker here. I know that they are held under a protection even if they lie, but this social worker was MALICIOUS in every sense of the word.. I NEED HELP and can not afford a lot but if they cost me loosing my family.. there is a law suit.. she needs to loose her job along with everyone who signed the paper

I met her on Dec. 24th, she called my house for thius extorsioist(so phone records will confirm)

They tried an emergency group meeting but were unable to fabricate enough fiction to convencie the director that we were guilty of neglect, in fact, the director refused to listen to these jakles and the attempts to assisnate my character and stormed out of the room. I need to get help before they try agian. My son, Manny, is in no way neglected. We are in Cub Scouts together, play games on our network at home, do homework together, walk to and from school together, This scum, Ruben D. Carvajal, used this worker from CPS to bring his children here from Chile. He is a felon, a dunkard and a self-proclammied “drug dealer” who has illegally purchased medicinal marijuana (with intnet to distribute ) for this CPS worker in front of me. Any lawer interested, I have preparid my statement, figured out what evidence needs to be gathered and who needs to be subpenoed. But I NEED legal counsel. This may be part of a international child-trafficing ring! Please help ASAP!

I returned home from the hospital on Feb. 19th (actually signed my self out due to my husband kicked my 19year old out of the house and she was extreamly upset and I had her come and pick me up from the hospital and in the mean time I called the police and had them go to my home and tell my husband he had no right to kick my daughter out) We arrive home appx 8 PM, My husband was gone with my 8 year old chld. My husband came home at 0510 pounding on my door yelling my name until i opened my door and he told me he didnt have a problem with me staying at the house however she was not to stay, I said she has every right to be her. My husbands last words prior to leaving were you will never see, live or here from Addison (8year old) again. My husband returned home 3x that weekend with cops claiming his clothing. I went to his parents with 2 cops and they would not let me see or take my daughter from his parents home. cops just told me she looks like she is well taken care of. On Monday 2-23 My husband filed Child abuse restraining order against me so I couldnt see her at all. My husband is only doing this to piss me off and not looking out for the best interest of my daughter. I was her 95% care taker. She already has missed 6 doctor appts and meds were never picked up from walgreens. She has case worker assigned at social services and a gardian at liem assigned. its been a week and a half and NO one has contacted me THE MOTHER. our court date is in 4 days. I am disabled and my money is tied up due to my husband prior to leaving shut off all phone access, all cable and tvs, took my car keys. I was unable to do anything to get things moving for a week. I am looking for help because I know my husband and his parents are filling her head with negative and hatefull things about myself and her sister.
I filled for divorce on Monday 2-25 and have a hearing already on 3-13
child abuse hearing is on 3-19.
So if there is anyone out there will to help me in green bay, wi please I will be willing to make monthy payments. You have to be knowagable in regards to narrissarism personality disorder.

I NEED HELP ON GETTING MY FOUR CHILDREN OUT OF FOSTER CARE. ON SEPT. 20TH 2008 MY MOTHER,(WHO IS HOMELESS IN FRESNO) CAME UP FOR THE WEEKEND SO I LET MY KIDS GO WITH HER TO THE PARK. MY MOTHER & SISTER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA IF THEY TOOK MY KIDS TO THE POLICE STATION AND SAY MY BOYFRIEND WAS BEATING THEM, ME, &THAT WE WERE DOING DRUGS. WHICH WAS NOT TRUE.POLICE QUESTIONED US, SEARCHED OUR HOME, TOOK PICTURES & FOUND NOTHING. ONE EVEN HELPED HIMSELF TO SOME BBQ.
MY MOTHER & SISTER DO NOT LIKE MY BOYFRIEND OR ANY BOYFRIEND I HAD BECAUSE IT TOOK ME AWAY MY ATTENTION FROM THEM. WE HAD A FEW TOO MANY ISSUES & I SEPERATED MYSELF FROM THEM TO LIVE MY OWN LIFE WITH MY FAMILY. THEY ARE TWO VERY UNHAPPY PEOPLE, WHO WANTED TO MAKE MY LIFE UNHAPPY ALSO.
HERE IT IS FIVE MOS. LATER & I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CHILDREN. WE NOW ARE HAVING TO MOVE FROM OUR BEAUTIFUL FOUR BEDROOM HOME, TO A ONE BED APT.
THERE WAS NO PROOF OF ANYTHING. MY CHILDREN TELL EVERYONE THEY TALK TO, THAT THEY WANT TO COME HOME. IVE BEEN GOING TO PARENTING CLASSES, D.V. CLASSES,AA MEETINGS, THERAPY, DRUG TEST. I ALSO THINK MY SOCIAL WORKER IS FOOLING WITH MY TEST, I HAVE HAD 3 BAD RESULTS, & THE COURTS ARE LABLING ME AN ADDICT. WE NEED MY CHILDREN & THEY NEED US! MY BOYS ARE FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER, MY DAUGHTER (WHO IS GOING TO BE 13 THIS MONTH), IS GOING THROUGH HER “LIKING BOYS STAGE”. SHE NEEDS ME TO TEACH HER THE FACTS OF LIFE. I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME THROUGH THIS & GET MY CHILDREN BACK.
