Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Contra Costa cuts 65 child welfare workers
I hope this means the remaining employees will concentrate on truly abused children rather than going after every trivial “neglect” case they can get their hands on - especially if adoptable babies are involved.

Unfortunately, this will probably just lead to a massive propaganda campaign on the part of the department in which many, if not all, of these firings will be rescinded and other county workers will then be called upon to bear the brunt.
Here in Tulare County CA, the Health and Human Services Agency cuts were of course made in health services, with three county clinics shut down and 300 health workers, including nurses, outreach workers and in-home service providers receiving pink slips. It’s going through the bump-down process now.
So far we’ve heard nothing about ANY cuts in Child Welfare Services which is what our politicians call CPS.

Fremont County, CO needs to do the same. This backwards corrupt little hellhole has WAY too much govt. They actively pursue non abuse cases such as my own. The feminazi ‘case aid’ in our case lives in a gianormous home. This b*tch makes less $ than I do & has less education! What’s up with that? It’s who you know & who you blow here to get anywhere!

I am happy to read this! Contra Costa County is where we lived until March 2007, when we moved to Los Angeles County. I can’t take credit for getting any of the 65 fired, but I AM REALLY HAPPY ABOUT IT….he he he…..HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I had a social worker acuse me of child abuse for my daughter getting a “fever” while under the care of her father while I was at work and for me loosing weight when I was 18 and my current age is 32. She said that my weight loss even though it occured 14 years ago would reflect on the eating of my child. She came to my house and asked to see if I had a scale.

The whole nations CPS agencies stink of corruption, their budgets are based on how many children they take away from their families…….and guess what!? Our SS taxes are where all this money is coming from!! Just do a simple search of SS Title IV-D and/oe SS Title IV-E. The results will make you sick…….

I feel they had this coming. They took my son to get Federal Funding and now they are making huge mistakes. This whole system is set up to destroy families and provide funds for Social Workers, therapists, testing and so on. It make me sick

Cuts need to be implimented in the Juvenile Courts by cutting legal technic GALS and CPS Attorneys, who become the Adjudicators.

The courts aren’t going by law they are going by money its about money not law the courts are doing to many unlegal stuff its called payoff Judge gets paid off.and the Supreme courts are in on it also they know what is going on in the courtsrooms

I’m hoping this will be the first of MANY cuts in CPS agencies around the nation, and the world. Children don’t deserve to be torn from their parents and farmed out to money-hungry adopters.
I too feel the joy of having this happen in CCC because I used to live there - in fact I was raised there from 1952 through 1970, and lived there again from 1993 through 1999. I never had any problems with the CPS agency there but as an activist I met people who were going through hell because of that agency.
This is a very important point: Those people in CCC who were being harassed and torn apart by CPS often went to the County Board of Supervisors’ meetings to take advantage of their 3 minutes of speech time, to tell the Supervisors that CPS was ruining their lives. This was televised for the whole county to see on cable! The point is that these supervisors probably knew that CPS is a rogue, corrupt agency, and they decided to make their cuts there because of it!
Now people, how about a campaign to educate YOUR county board of supervisors? Can you go to meetings? Can you write letters to the editor of your local newspaper to tell the world about injustice done in your local CPS agency? Can you write letters directly to your county supervisors asking for their help? Can we tell supervisors that this agency should be cut down?

Again, Californians and those in Western states:
Look at the Rogers v San Joaquin Co decision.
Clarifies that cw’s need *imminent risk* to remove kids.
This holding also applies to Alaska, Arizona, California, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
Very important and very readable verdict reached by 9th Circuit.
Imminent risk is not decaying teeth, etc.

On December 11, 2006 a worker from the Contra Costa County CWS interviewed my daughter who was medically unstable in a psychiatric ward without my knowledge.
She then planted thoughts in my daughter’s head and transferred the case to our home county of Tuolumne. After the torture these workers put my daughter through, including denying her medication, withholding information, creating evidence that doesn’t exist and then making a deal with my attorney behind my back, my daughter has been repeatedly abused by the system.
She was denied medical care and even now that she’s with her grandmother, CWS refuses to let my mother get medical care for my child. They refuse to admit to a judge that my daughter wasn’t abused and should never have been removed from the hospital or my home.
After doing research I found out a few things. The first applies to Contra Costa County. Their CWS department has the worst rating in the state of California. They have been under almost constant Grand Jurry investigation since 2003. They are a legal liability to the county’s financial system.
The second thing is that Tuolumne County is rated the third worst county CWS in the state.
For the record, Monterey County is the second worst in the state.
Perhaps this is a way for Contra Costa County to finally clean house without waiting for the nastiness of fighting to review ‘confidential files’.
I recognized the worker who tormented my daughter in the video. I say Kudos to the county for cutting in the right places.
I hope my county and others will follow this example. 70% of foster children shouldn’t be there and the system made $172,000 of tax payers mony terrorizing my family and torturing my daughter. The detainees in Gutanomo have more rights than my daughter does.
She has been isolated, restrained, lied to, and they attempted to brain wash her into believing that I don’t love her. Bad things were told to her about me by her social worker/counsellor. Maybe they will get cut too.

It is very interesting to me that the workers depicted on the TV clip were older folks ( around 40)
Until CPS disabuses itself of the notion that they are actually in existence to HELP FOLKS rather than to PUNISH PARENTS AND KIN, ordinary families will be fighting this battle for years.
However, the 9th Circuit has issued some very family-friendly rulings and I hope advocates and just plain beleagured parents are reading.
Rogers v. County of San Joaquin. *Imminent risk* is the keyword here, and key definition for attys.

So, these sites have done good for the many parents who are caught in this Web of CPS inanity.

these Judges needes to be fired also so should attorney general and county attorney because they aren’t being honest in the courtroom the dre doing things that are illegal. they cant’be making up their own laws on poor families. US supreme Court needs to get their head out of their ass and see that this is real.

Hopefully clinics, nurses and all health care workers will band together and let everyone know social service is a joke threatening health workers and schools with mandatory reporting. They are not responsible when something goes wrong because they had a hunch a child might possibly being abused. cps is just a bunch of bullies people will get sick of them eventily, even people who have never had to deal with. Lost jobs = stolen children, more children in state care = more detruction to famililies, more child abuse and child deaths, title 4 funding = an increase in retirement age to collect the social security that you payed into, more lawsuits agaigst cps = state defisit, state defisit = higher taxes, big government = loss in freedoms and quality of life. This is affecting those who beliave it don’t. When I hear people complaing about high taxes and social sucurity ect, I tell them about what big brother has done.

Families in California have a right to guardianship with kin, not placement with stranger fosters.

Jumped through every hoop for the past 1 1/2! Did everything they said!
They gave father 60 day trial??? Family MAintence now and my x has 8 clinical positive tests! I worried about my baby and SS recomendation on me was to give him FULL CUSTODY???She hate me I am a good mom and never tested dirty test 3 times a week sence sep 2008 never missed a test???? My ex is using and still lets him get away with using. I think she is in love with him and hates and jealous of me… Where is the justice here??? Social workers even over rule the judges here with their LIES!!!

I just have to note that the specific concern voiced by one of the fired workers was one about a FOSTER mother abusing her charge. Meaning that he is afraid that CPS will mess up and endanger other children more.

I would say to those falsely accused, this is terrible and i wish you and your family the very best. I would like to address the children who are being abused and neglected on a daily basis who desparately need help and a voice to stand up for their life. There are so many children who are grossly abused and SAVED by CPS workers. There are good workers and bad workers…but taking away the system will not solve the problem. Increase training budgets. Allow for greater professional supervision of these workers. Lets help people who help children. to those workers who have been neglectful in taking childen out of home, lets address this. but please do not forget the thousands of children who are being saved from abusive and neglectful parents.

cps stole my grandson and forced my son into signing over his rights. so they could place my grandson in foster care. they tried to say my son was using drugs but everytime they tested him he PASSED. he would not agree to go into they drug program, which is where my grandson’s mother was (3times) they placed my grandson with her and she was using while he was with her,but my son who never tested positive once was not allowed to see him. this went on for three years and son did everything he was told to do by cps. and still lost his son.i believe cps receives money for these children and i was never asked if i wanted my grandson cps ploted aganist my son and me so the mother and her mother could get him. cps placed him into foster care for one year, than let the grandmother adopt him. My God i would have taken him in a heartbeat. why wasnt i asked. cps is a bad thing they are not for the children its about the money. i dont know if we can get him back, we want him back,cps stole him they tricked my son into signing over his rights, never allowed him an attorney. we are poor people my son is a good father everyone that knows us will tell you he is. he did everthing cps asked him to do but still they took his son. wish someone would tell us what to do to get him back.

I have a bunch of info I have been gathering on the civil right’s violators otherwise known as CPS. They are teaming with the DOJ to change the policies in the system and some of the rules. They need members of the public to step in and attend these meetings but I never got the info yet to attend myself.
