Cristina, good idea. Better yet, go visit every state legislator and tell them you support the state sovereignty movement and want it so that the child welfare system will be abolished. While you're there, you could mention that caseworkers who lie in court documents, and people who file false CPS reports, should be imprisoned.

There is a news organization running a story on grandparents who were overlooked. Go to the blog web site of King 5 and you can post a blog in support of these grandparents. This is in Washington State.

We are holding a protest rally on December 23rd 2008 at the following location

San Diego Juvenile Court
2851 Meadowlark Dr.
San Diego CA 92123
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

If you could help us get the word out it would be appreciated.

We need numbers to get the media attention required to make a difference.
We also ask that people bring signs, we will have fliers and pamphlets to pass out at the event. We will also have a packet of complaint forms and information for all in attendance that will significantly help further our cause.

Network with National Center for Youth Law in Oakland, CA.

Possibly they, too, will take on individual cases of DCFS negligence, non-performance, and extreme indifference to the children they are supervising.

Guys,
anyone can organize a rally. Don’t wait for someone to volunteer for your county. Post here if you want to lead a rally and wait and see how many will show up – leave your email and collect replies. Do same as me. Shoot for Jan 15-30th.

also advertise on craigslist public messages for your county. Start one today! NOTE: if you don’t get enough interested replies, don’t hold the rally, but at least try.
