Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.
Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

Fighting Child Protective Services False Accusations

November 13, 2008
A ten year old boy in Jacksonville Florida has had his life ruined by a CPS over-reaction to a false allegation. They ripped the boy from his mother, incarcerated him in foster care with foster parent Leticia Rodriguez, and left him to be molested by two teenage boys they’d already been told were abusing children.
The person who made the false allegation went to jail because of it. Unfortunately the Department of Children and Families dragged things out in court and managed to keep the boy away from his mother for four weeks. Time enough for him to be repeatedly abused by the foster parent’s two teenage sons.
Typical CPS social work abuse of children! Even though they KNEW the mother wasn’t guilty they pursued their case to keep a child in foster care and draw on those federal funding streams they love so much.
Does anyone here understand why I’m so angry at legislators for not changing the federal child abuse laws? Don’t legislators realize how many children they are HARMING? I sadly believe they DO know it and don’t bother doing anything to help because of some pressure from higher authorities. Tell me it isn’t so! Tell me American children are more important than that!
The mother intends to sue the state of Florida. I hope a lot of pathetic caseworkers lose their jobs over this, and that the state goes broke if it isn’t already.
Florida DCF spokesman John Harrell wouldn’t talk about the eight year old girl foster child who complained about being molested in that foster home NINE MONTHS before the boy stayed there. In all that time, how many other children have been abused? Quite a few, wouldn’t you think?

The statues need to be changed. I am not familiar with Florida statues though I do not that its state Constitution has a privacy clause unlike other state Constitutions. Perhaps this can be used in some manner to supercede the social service laws in Florida. Anyone here from Florida who knows?

As usual CPS is slow to respond to their own mistakes if ever and quick to respond to allegations without investigating to find out the truth. Truth has nothing to do with CPS.
Comment by Agnes Gray — November 14, 2008 @ 8:59 am
i agree with Agnes there is no truth behind cps ever. they are always quick to do what does not need to be done and never respond to anything that they are doing wrong …..these people need to change things…to many kids and family’s lives have been ruined already

Dear Folks__
The situation in CT is SO BAD.
Connecticut is also named DCF.
A CPS caseworker had a child DIE ( mysterious circumstances) while she was fostering him)
CT will hold an OPEN CITIZENS MEETING THIS MONTH REGARDING DCF THERE.
See http://www.legallykidnapped.blogspot.com
The word is spreading. Please readers, work with those in your states to tame and shame CPS.
GO CONNECTICUT.

This is just aweful, i am friends with a man who was trumatized by this action, only thing his mom was working for cps and he told her over and over that his brother wwa molesting him but she didn’t listen and he told the school and no would listen to him. he mom yelled at him because she didn’t want to beleive that her oldest son could be doing this to her youngest son ,because the mom worked for cps, so she ignored it , until one day her youngest son just took a bat and beat him and got the cops invovled to make some one listen to him, and mother who worked for cps had a heart attac and her oldest son almost died and my friend became a conselor for young audlts, and press charges against his mom and dad and his brother. he is now doing very well and he has a family of his own and he help fight cps because he knows what they are about he lived it for 14 years and he won but if someone would have listen to him things could have truned out differnt.

My grandson’s situation was similar although it involved physical abuse instead of anything sexual… at least as far as we know.
He was taken from my home and placed in foster care last April supposedly because they had decided I was too old and sick to care for him. That’s actually just one of the many reasons they’ve floated, depending on the situation on the day they’re talking about it and who they need to impress right then.
In the first home they put him in, he was beaten by the foster parent’s older children. We found out about it when he was changing clothes after a spill during an unsupervised visit and we complained to CPS, who said they would “investigate”.
They moved him a few days later but they also cut off our unsupervised visits.
He was also removed, almost immediately from the second home he was in although they won’t tell us why.

Tom, that kind of secrecy has got to stop. I cannot get over how totally evil some so-called social workers are.

With the latest development… they notified her three days ago that the court had ordered her to pay child support back in May but “couldn’t find her” to serve the order… she’s been to dozens of meetings and court sessions over that period and they have ALWAYS had my address which is the one she was using to get her mail until just a couple of weeks ago… so she starts off 6 months behind and no way to catch it up which goes against her at the NEXT court session. If she’s able to find a full time job during this depression, they’ll be confiscating whatever she makes and claiming she can’t support Iain anyway.
So, it’s obvious Iain will not be coming home without a fight. So far no attorney has offered any kind of help and I can’t afford to go out and retain one. Looks like 2009 is going to be another banner year for the “parents for hire” gang here in Tulare County, California.

Tom Bales: California
Have you checked out the Website of
http://www.theacf.org
California-based. Is your daughter in agreement that your grandson should NOT be in stranger FC, but placed with family?
Comment by Fern — December 31, 2008 @ 12:19 pm
Yes on both counts… although it’s no longer a matter of him coming back to my place. They claim I’m too sick to care for him although I did so for several months before they came and took him.
She has met every requirement for reunification they’ve put in front of her except for the one that she have a full time job, making enough to support her and Iain all by herself, which… during this depression… is TOTALLY unreasonable. Right now I’m helping her out financially and she does get food stamps. This is what families do when times get hard, or at least it’s what MY family has always done.
The LATEST thing now is that apparently the court ordered her to pay child support back in May but just got around to telling her about it a few days ago.
They claim they “couldn’t find her” even though she has attended several court sessions during that time, was having visits in their office with my grandson once a week at least, is registered with every county agency she’s had to deal with ant there have been several, and goes to meetings and “staffings” regularly with these people, right there in the office that is now claiming they didn’t know where she was so they couldn’t inform her of the support order.
They have always been able to call her every time they wanted to mess with her some more and they’ve also had my address and phone number all along and knew they could have reached her any time through me. Several different workers and CPS management personnel have met with her right here in my home and none of them NEVER had any trouble whatsoever in finding her then.
Seems strange to me that the only time they “couldn’t find her” was this time and now she’s $300 behind on CS she didn’t even know she owed.
Of course we can’t pay it, so it’s just piling up interest and they’re also using that to claim irresponsibility on her part as part of the reason for denying reunification now.
This is getting utterly ridiculous.
Comment by Tom Bales — December 31, 2008 @ 6:25 pm
To Tom:
Calif paid up big time to a Dad whom they claim they could not find although he was paying his CS thru the state.
Dad won a lawsuit. Daughter deprived of living with her Dad for around 13 years while Calif twiddled their thumbs.
Mom had died or something like that and kid was in stranger FC.
Calif supposedly revised it regs and put ex caseworkers back to work supposedly reuniting families Dad won his suit v Calif. I should think that teen daughter should be able to file her own suit , based on Calif * extreme indifference* and incompetence.
Did you check with TheACF. org?
Charlie runs that site. Good guy.

Yep, been there. heard back from Charlie on anther matter too. The psych evaluations will be a major factor in any campaign we undertake also.
We’re kind of in a holding pattern right now. Some of the agencies involved are seriously questioning why the left hand never knew what the right hand was doing in our case. Turns out the case worker was telling my daughter she would make sure all interested parties were notified when she met a requirement, then failing to do so.
Daughter was gullible enough to think the worker would keep her word so several of the agencies felt she wasn’t showing enough concern by advocating for herself. Daughter definitely knows better
and is making her OWN phone calls now.
Took her a while to learn that you can NOT rely on CPS to do even what it says it’s going to do, let alone the right thing.
