Child Protective Services laws and agencies are abusive to families and children. This site provides support and information to parents falsely accused of child abuse by Child Protective Services.

FightCPS does not advocate or condone violence or illiegal activities of any kind.

FightCPS is intended to help people learn enough about the law to be able to successfully defend themselves and their families against false accusations using legal documents and strategies that put parents in a stronger position when they go back to court.

For more information, see the FAQ.

Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.

Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.

Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.

Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.

Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.

CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.

Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.

It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

Washington State: Senator Pamela Roach under attack by a foster parent because she supports family rights

Have you noticed that Senator Pamela Roach of Washington state is using her blog to defend family rights? She’s posted multiple articles to expose Child Protective Services for the terrible family-destroying agency that it is.

THANK YOU Senator Roach!

Now she’s under attack by an angry foster parent. This foster adoptive woman (I can’t honestly call her a foster “parent”) exposed herself and her name by filing an ethics complaint against the senator.

Read the details at Senator Roach’s blog, and show your support… with a comment, if you feel moved to do so: The Pam Roach Report.

We need more legislators like this one who are willing to speak the truth about Child Protective Services.

  1. Just read the article in the Tacoma news tribune for October 14,2008…”.New sweeping law signed last week for foster children”. President Bush just signed this bill that will put the fight for children held by CPS even harder for parents to regain their children. I hope that Pam Roach can help with this one!!!

  2. Folks, California did the right thing and awarded a DAD a respectable settlement for never sending his daughter home to him when DHS captured her. ( Only took DHS 10 years)

I believe the Dad was even paying child support. DHS KNEW WHERE HE RESIDED.

His parenting style was never an issue.

So you can prevail in some states.

  3. I believe we all need to read the blog Senator Roach is writing and leave her a comment. Not to tell our individual stories or to ask for her help but, to let her know how many parents are seperated from their children and are fighting against the tide for change to this corrupt government entity. To compliment her for the job she is doing for that little girl and her mother. I don’t think anyone really knows or cares how many are suffering because of CPS and the power and control that they have. Most just think if CPS is in your life then you must deserve it. That is so wrong and I believe Pam Roach is doing something now that will help all of us. She is one of the first in government who has paid attention to our plight and is doing something about it! God Bless you, Pam Roach!

  4. I know the suffering that is felt because I see it in my brother’s eye whenever I see him. He loves his children very much. CPS has decided to be judge, jury, and executor…not has happened to innocent until proven guilty. I have also been discriminated against by CPS. I have repeatedly ask for relative placement of my nephew and niece and haven’t been given a satifactory answer or haven’t been called at all. Incidently, I faxed a letter to Senator Roach. Even though she isnt my state Senator I pray she can help me get my babies.

  7. Linda (who sacrifices to run this website) we owe you a lot , even though we don’t know it , the justice and love are not two dimensional however , their energy doesn’t go from point A to B and back , its more like a surface of a sphere , you may not always see the results even though they maybe enormously important . That’s all I have to say ,in words, anyway .
Jessica , there are several case laws (decisions by higher courts preferably ) stating that children witnessing domestic violence occurrence can not be used as a reason for their removal by itself .
Last point – Linda , if possible ,maybe the listing of a blogger’s e-mail could be left to their discretion , so other people can contact them directly ,if needed , any poss. problems with that ? Milos Leubner

  8. Milos… I’m not technologically talented enough to change the way this blog works (re: email addresses) but you’re welcome to leave your email in your comment. Use this format: ‘name – at – site.com’ … otherwise spam bots can steal your email address for nefarious purposes.

Linda – if the agency is denying you your kinship care rights perhaps a state administrative hearing or a letter to your legislator would help!

  12. Linda…I need to talk to you immediately! I have been contacted by John Mc Cain regarding my grandson, who was wrongfully taken away 4 yrs. ago by DHS in Oklahoma City, OK at the Oklahoma Universtiy
children’s Hospital. On Nov. 4th, next week there is to be a hearing to see if my grandson Kolby can be adopted by a Lesbian couple, when family has been trying to get him for the past year, since the sudden death of our daughter, on the 4th of July. Her heart gave out after fighting so hard for 3 years to get her precious baby boy home. Her rights were never terminated and she was to get him back, but DHS kept making her do more classes more counceling etc. etc, which you are well aware of how they work! This whole thing has been a horrific NIGHTMARE for everyone!! I believe my daughter’s heart just completely broke from having her baby taken away. They accused her of SBS when he didn’t have any of the symtoms except for a cephalhematoma which was months old, caused by being stuck in the birth canal for 17 hours, face up. My daughter had Pelvic Dysplasia where she couldn’t dilate past 2. She ended up with a C-section, with complications. The OU third year intern said, Kolby had a subdural hemataoma and put him in DHS custody. Six weeks later the hematoma was gone which we found out later after we got the baby’s medical records, but they still wouldn’t give him back. The court made my daughter sign a paper, saying that her baby was neglected and ordered her to take a Service Plan and they dropped the SBS charges. She really didn’t know what she was signing and her attorney, her fourth, sold her out and didn’t advise her properly. Anyways, I gave out this web site to a lot of people including several letters to John Mc Cain and Sarah Palin. They may try to contact you, I hope this is OK. Your site has given me the courage and strength to fight this battle to get our grandson back to family..My stepdaughter from a past relationship is trying to adopt Kolby. They live in Vista, Calif. They have been approved for adoption, after a grueling year of classes, home inspections etc. When we got a letter in the mail yesterday, from John Mc Cain, my husband and I were shocked, because we have been trying so hard for 4 yrs. to get our grandson back to his family. The more people who know what is really going on in this country, maybe, with God’s permission, we can change the system and STOP the KIDNAPPING of our children and the shattering of our families.
Thank you so very much for being out here to help so many hurting people. My family wants to set up a foundation in my late daughter’s name called: the Tiffany Breanna Weitzel Foundation to help families who have been wrongfully accused and have had their children snatched from their loving arms.
I now live in Aurora,Colorado with my husband, near our oldest daughter and her three little boys. Her husband is in the Air Force and is stationed here. Our daughter here was denied custody of her nephew, because she has 2 special needs little boys. The fostermom’s have wanted to adopt my grandson since day one and waged a personal attack against his mother, that ended up in her untimely death. The stress was just to much for her. She was going to colllege to be a nurse and had her own house all set up for her son to come home.
It just makes me sick how the gov’t treats its own people.
My home phone # is (720)524-6995, my cell is (720)382-6222. I really would like to hear from you, maybe just maybe, with the help of God, we can make a difference and Stop these atrosities!
    Take care and God Bless…

  13. Cynthia… I am reading messages tonight and am amazed at yours. I hope legislators like McCain and Palin will help change things for American parents. We’ve been persecuted far too long by bad child welfare legislation that gives incentives to counties that take children from their parents. Thanks so much for all you’ve done to help. I hope to hear that you’ll be able to rescue your grandson, and am so sorry about your daughter. Your family deserves good news now… not more devastation.

My mind has faith that good, family and individual rights will prevail, and the evil powers from interferences and conspiracy from the government be stopped. Some places in this nation has been corrupted but there is still a chance for the restoration of good! I want to be involved as much as I can. This is also my research for my speech class. 22. For many years, since I was 17 years old; I have been speaking up against the treatment of innocent biological parents. I saw this with my own eyes; the mental cruelty that the entire family is subjected to. All of the family suffers. For the first time; I feel a sense that just maybe society is waking up to this form of abuse. I have always felt that every single case where a family has been victimized; these should all be investigated. Innocent biological parents have been treated worse than criminals!!! Thank you

  23. All of these stories are so sad to hear!! It doesn’t offer much hope to us. You see, our granddaughter is in protective custody in Washington State, in what DSHS will only state is a “suitable” placement, a placement that her neglectful mother hand-picked!!! DSHS will not consider us for placement because according to them, we are too far away. We live in Ohio. We are not only her grandparents, but we are licensed foster parents as well. Washington state has laws and we don’t understand what is so hard about just following the law. Is our granddaughter all about the money that DSHS receives from the state for her??? I thought the best interest of the child was supposed to be at the heart of it all! Children deserve to be with family when the family is suitable and willing. Only family can provide the kind of love, nurturing and bonding that a child deserves. We have a hearing on Feb. 11 in Thurston county. Please, all we want is what is best for our granddaughter and that would be that she comes home with us!

  26. Thank God I had the chance to meet with the Washington State Senators and Reps. If anyone said a negative remark about Senator Pam Roach, I quickly said, “She is all we have, support her and join her!” Everyone agreed that we were correct; that DCFS has a set agenda; they set the family up to meet their agenda. They cause the family to turn on each other and then smile when they are done. Meanwhile, the child is crying, longing with all it’s heart to see mom, dad, grandma and just go home! At that point, there is no such word as “normal.” The child is lost; the family is destroyed. These angry social workers “believe” they are God and believe that no one can stop them. They know no meaning of the words, “I”m sorry.” Do they really know that someday they too will face their maker? Do they have no conscience? No morals? No ethics? Most of all, they know no definition of the word, “Compassion.” No meaning of the word, “family.” Senator Pam Roach deserves a medal of honor for her service to the State of Washington! No family is immune from this system’s control and if our state government, who have the power, do not stand up to this agency, they too will eventually be on the same agenda. I love my family; I did nothing wrong; nothing wrong at all. Thank our Heavenly Father for Senator Pam Roach! A yellow rose to you! God Bless you always!

Good for you, please keep up the fight against DSHS as this organization is corrupt. We had our little granddaughter removed from the only home that she has ever known because of a false accusation made by her older berther that his grandpa gave him a bruise, which is not true and so DSHS removed all three without throughly investigating it. We just want our little girl back. Please help and get this organization revamped and to not let them do their own investigations and write there own reports.

  29. I’m glad I finally found a website that fights cps. My family has gone through CPS since 1979. They took my brother cause my stepdad was abusive and said my mother was negligent. Which was false I remember the incident that caused cps to get involved and my mom was not to blame. Then they got involved with my sister and took her first son because they said she did drugs and was violent. Even though she took drug tests every week the stupid CPS worker said it wasn’t enough and wrote a bunch of lies about her in her reports that my sister did not know about. The CPS worker knew the adoptive parents who took my nephew and was friends with them. They also said they couldn’t have children when the lady was 5 months pregnant when I met her. And now they took her 6 month old daughter because my sister was with a sex offender and gave the child to the family of the father who is also a sex offender but I guess thats OK! NOT! I would LOVE to fight these SOB’s who think that what they do is right. I have printed pages from this website to give to my sister. She is in Granite Falls where I can’t help her so I’m sending her these pages to let her know she is not alone in the fight on CPS. Thank You Pam Roach.

Washington State hired Denise Revels Robinson after she stepped down in Milwaukee, after the death of Christopher Thomas and the torture of his sister. We now know that 22 children died from abuse within a 4yr period while in the BMCW care. Denise Revels Robinson was in charge of seeing that these children where protected…And failed them !!!

Subject: Laura Anderson and boyfriend Tommy

Dear Governor Gregoire of Washington State, Ms. Revels-Robinson, I spoke with my 26 year old daughter. My daughter told me, Laura Anderson text her on her cell phone, 6/22/10 saying, “ Can we talk, things has gotten out of hand with Shayna and your dad.” This is inappriate. My daughter is pregnant, husband serving this great Country in Iraq. She doesn’t need Laura Anderson sending text message upsetting her in tears. Ms. Anderson’s conduct is not appreciated, she has stepped out of bounds. Ms. Anderson and her boyfriend, Tommy never supported a reunification plan with Shayna and her mother, Jennifer Krueger. The whole time Anderson and her boyfriend was stealing Shayna away for their own selfish reasons. My daughter supports our adoption plans of Shayna. Please!! tell Laura Anderson this behavior is unacceptable, Stop! trying to cause confusion and division with my family. Tell her, to please!! Being disrespectful. Leave my family alone.

  34. Subject: Shayna Krueger, 8/27/10

Dear President Obama, I have written you and your wife, several times concerning my Grandchild in Washington State living with her caregiver’s, Laura Anderson and her Boyfriend Tommy. Shayna’s Mother Jennifer and my son her Father, Jarel have failed to follow reunification plans set by Children Services in Washington State. Shayna has been with her caregivers for almost two years, costing the tax payers of Washington State, over $100,000 in that 2 year time frame, not to include W.I.C., medical and court, while with suitable placement, a shame! I told Washington, Children Services, the very beginning of Shayna’s placement in September 2008, to please place my grandchild with my wife, Sharon and I in Ohio, at no cost to the State. Chrissie Wright, caseworker and Supervisor Kim Gabbard, at first told us Ohio was too far, now the State is moving to terminate parental rights, using the same old tactic, bonding with placement routine. The suitable placement Laura Anderson and her boy friend has expressed their wishes to adopt Shayna, Washington State paid attorney’s, are fighting for Laura Anderson and her boyfriend Tommy, to make that happen. Sir, how is it that, State paid attorney’s, at the tax payer’s expense is representing these caregivers? I wrote Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington State, she refused and said, “Unfortunately, as a United States Senator, this is out of my jurisdiction because it does not fall under the authority of the Federal Government.” I asked Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio for help, he refused saying, “We have thoroughly reviewed your correspondence, and unfortunately we know of no action that can be taken by a United States Senator with this matter.” Senator Patty Murray of Washington State and Senator George Voinovich of Ohio, stated they would look into this matter. I wrote Governor Ted Strickland of Ohio and his wife several times also, in the last 23 months requesting help, he stated “Unfortunately, the concerns you expressed have to do with issues that are outside the jurisdiction of the Ohio Department of Job and Family services“. Sir, I know Governor Strickland could help, he has the power to take a murderers off death roll, pardon inmates, then he has the power to free my grandchild out of Washington State, if he cared. Governor Strickland has let me down as a voter. I expected Change, but all I feel is, I’m getting’ change. Mr. Obama, your Mike Kelleher, Special Assistant to the President and Director of Presidential Correspondence wrote, “We received your request for President Obama’s support on an issue that is important to you. All concerns related to local or state legislation or regulation should be addressed by agencies and elected officials at the appropriate levels of government.” Sir, I call this, the Run Around. As you can see, I have written elected officials. When politicians say, they want to help the American People, I feel, that means only the, rich and famous. Mr. Obama, I have heard your story about your Grandmother raising you up. I respect her for that, she did a fine job. Sir, what about my grandchild’s story, “ raised by suitable placement, Laura Anderson and her boyfriend. “ Not getting to know her family, that’s Not Right! A child has the right to be with appropriate family when available. My wife Sharon and I are State approved foster parents and have an approved adoption home study, forwarded to Washington State. Laura Anderson stated, “she fells like family in court,” she’s a paid caregiver, not family. Anderson and her boyfriend have completed an adoption home study, their not supportive of reunification like my spouse and I, but back stabbing, plotting to steal Shayna from family, that‘s not family! After I drink two Cherry Coke’s, I feel like Superman, but I’m not. Sir, put yourself in Shayna’s place, how you like it, if you were raised by a boyfriend, girlfriend suitable placement? What if they break up, or something happens to one or the other? What about Shayna? not giving your grandmother a chance, the results wouldn’t have been the same. We want a chance to raise our granddaughter, just like your grandparent did for you. I have never asked anything for my Services to this Country, I felt proud to have served, but now. I’m calling it. I want my adopt granddaughter for payment my years of Services to this Country, I mean it! Shayna has a right to be with appropriate family. Please contact Washington State. In the name of Jesus, please help!!!

  35. Subject: Shayna Krueger, granddaughter 8/27/10

    Dear Governor Strickland,
I have requested your help several times concerning my granddaughter, Shayna Krueger, in Washington State. Sir, you have ignored my requests for help. I know you can help, you helped Inmate Kevin Keith, who was convicted of breaking into a flat and spraying it with bullets. Police found a four year old child dead alongside her mother and aunt. I’m not for the death penalty, but personally, if you save this inmate again, I think your career would be finished. Sir, please contact Governor Gregoire of Washington State and ask her to release my granddaughter from her “suitable placement“, so that family can adopt her in Ohio. Today I met with a kind gentleman by the name of Robert Hackett, State Representative, a good man that cares. I have the email address of John Kasich. I know he supports family values and feels that family should be cared for by family/kin. I hoped that you shared the same views. The staff at your office has given me the, Run Around. Shayna’s entire life is at stake. I guess Shayna would have to be an inmate for you to step in and do something.
Please contact Washington State and ask the Governor to do this for a grandfather who served this country proudly for 22 years in the United States Army. I don’t feel like this is a lot to ask. I have an appointment with a news reporter who has agreed to publish an article about our pleas to raise our granddaughter and allow her to grow up in the loving care of her family. I want to be able to report that you helped us. Bringing my granddaughter here and allowing her to be raised by family instead of boyfriend, girlfriend, suitable placement. Shayna is innocent and has the right to be with family, family means a lot to me and will to her as she grows older, Please help.
