Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.

Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.

Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.

Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.

Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.

CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.

Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.

It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

Heads Up! It is an Election Year!

Are your legislators doing anything to help reunite children with their rightful parents? Do your legislators care whether you’ve been unjustly accused? Are they working on your behalf to help the the wrongfully accused to be vindicated, and their children returned?

For most of us, the answer is Of Course Not!

There are a few good legislators out there who have indicated they care… Senator Nancy Schaefer of Georgia comes to mind. But most legislators aren’t doing a thing to help our cause and therefore we should be very interested in having them replaced with legislators who will help us.

Unfortunately most legislators are hopelessly brainwashed or blackmailed, or bribed. (The three B’s of public office.) For one reason or another they won’t lift a finger to change the really awful laws and regulations of this country like CAPTA and ASFA. (If you’re a CPS client and don’t know what those laws are, you should.)

So… I’m presenting to you a link to a fearless, brilliant, and concerned writer, Devvy, “The Dynamite Redhead”. Her article, published today, is The Case For Hanging Errant Public Officials.

Don’t worry - she’s not recommending a lynch mob. What she suggests is that we use our option to vote for ‘write in’ candidates that agree with our issues.

My Good News

A day I waited for, with a sense of expectancy and joy, has come and gone. It was my youngest child’s eighteenth birthday.

As you know, with that birthday passed, my children can no longer be victims of an agency that pretends to protect them. I no longer have to worry about that knock at the door, with a government agent investigating my children and home.

I am free.

As God wills it, none of my children have children, so there are no worries about grandchildren being kidnapped. All of my children have chosen to be childless up to now, and it is a relief to me because now I can pursue family rights activism without worrying about CPS government agents wanting to retaliate against my family.

Is that cool, or what?

Sanity Break

I’m here to apologize for not posting any articles yet this month. I’m taking a vacation from the site - and yes, you can call it a sanity break. The reason is that though I’m adamant about this issue - fighting CPS injustice - I sometimes get overwhelmed by the enormity of the problem. Hearing all these traumatic and sad stories day after day takes a toll on me, and I frequently must retreat, and do other things to keep myself from heartbreak.

I love you all very much, and care about you and your children, and want to see families together, not separated. For this reason I started this site - to put everything I know about fighting CPS out here where people can do their own research and come to their own conclusions about what to do. Often I get passionate pleas for help via email, and I don’t know what to do with them. I already wrote everything I could on this site, and I must ask you to read the site. I couldn’t possibly help everyone individually - I get about 700 visitors daily (as of the last time I looked at the stats for this site). If I were to answer all emails I’d not have time for anything else in my life. Please accept my most sincere apology if you wrote to me and didn’t get an answer. It is not humanly possible to answer everyone. Fight CPS isn’t an organization - it is just the humble effort of one concerned citizen.

While I’ve been gone from the site, I’ve still been reading the comments. I may have missed a few. I ask that anyone who comes here and reads comments - to let me know if you see anything that shouldn’t be there, like spam, or arguments. I need to take care of those things even if I’m taking a sanity break vacation from the site. There’s a webmaster link at the bottom of each page.

I will be back soon to share more articles about CPS. I appreciate that so many dedicated people are sharing their stories and help in the comments to each article, and in the guestbook. Don’t forget we have an awesome message board here. There are others helping to maintain that effort. It is really the more appropriate place for people to post requests for help/advice/ideas. (Remember we are not lawyers and don’t give “legal” advice… this is just a grassroots group of concerned citizens.)

One more thing - I am saddened to read Diando’s comment about having a social worker threaten her due to things she’s written on this site. Please, everyone - remember that you do not have to post with your real name. You’re welcome to hide your name and details.

All the best to all of you,

Linda

July 2008: Post here if you need a CPS defense lawyer

People who need CPS defense lawyers can post their information here.

Please keep it brief - no more than 500 words.

If you post an email address to be contacted, please post it in this format:
“yourname - at - yourdomain.com” . . . this will prevent spammers from stealing your email address and innundating you with unwanted emails.

Please note: This does not guarantee that anyone will ever contact you. Lawyers are free to scan the postings to this page, and if they are interested in representing you, can contact you directly. This website doesn’t have the manpower to match people with lawyers, and there’s no money here for paying lawyers for you. Also please remember that most lawyers are not interested in doing pro-bono work. You will probably need to agree to some kind of payment obligation to get an attorney to work for you.
