Cell Phones - How Will CPS Caseworkers Use Them Against You?

Recently Seth Godin wrote about The Clowd. Apparently it is coming… your cell phones will be able to tell people where you are 24/7.

Does that sound helpful and fun? …Or does it sound like an invasion of privacy?

Do you like people having the power of constant surveillance over you?

Personally, I take my privacy seriously. I’m not a fan of phones, especially cell phones. I’ve never owned one. I’m sad and disappointed that my small town finally got a cell phone tower about a year ago. They emit dangerous levels of electromagnetic radiation. Did we need that? Should I buy a cell phone and support that? No way!

But I’m aware that most of you live in larger population areas than I do and by now, cell phones are a part of life. I’m wondering how you’ll feel about them when Big Brother can use them to follow your every move. Don’t we have enough invasion of privacy already? Do you think CPS caseworkers use them to track the whereabouts of their clients?

My neighbors whose newborn has been tragically kidnapped by CPS have been informed by their worker that their cellphones may be tapped at any point due to the investigation going on about them. They didn’t say anything about using it to track them, though that is I am sure a part of it too. Scary stuff these days!

By the way, kudos to you for not using cell phones! Did you know that the electromagnetic waves emitted by cellphones interfere with the flight patterns and life span of bees and other flying insects that help our world to cope with all of the damages we are doing to it?

Can they really tap your cell phones without your consent? Can they have video survelliance as well?

this is something i only thought they were using to track terrorist this is an out rage now we can’t feel comfort in speaking with our legal advisor without having our privacy invaded. how is it that they can do this witout a warrant or any legal action? now i’m not so sure this is a free country our brothers, sisters, sons and daughters have did for. i understand the bases of CPS and agree with it to protect children from harm but the people that are employed by them are not educated enough to make the decisions they are give to make. most of them dont even understand the constitutional rights of the family unit written in our amendments 4th and 14th. when are they going to take the steps to educate their workers. not some fly by the seat of your pants course to get them in and out. ther are so many children that are not being helped because of the falsely accused. and the wrongful removal of children from homes with loving parents do to some pissed off family member or neighbor or ex-friend. this has to come to light. WE ALL MUST BRING FORTH TO THE HIGH COURTS WHATS GOING ON! as i said im not against CPS just the lack of proper training, and the “god” like abilities they are given with no training. They are killing the family unit in this GREAT COUNTRY! our children are RIPPED from us and at such young ages they don’t understand WHY. giving them a feeling of their parents abandoning them which in its self is unjust causing the issuse of teen pregance to rise, fathers never knowing their children, crime to rise because of the children longing for attention. when will they understand to work with the families and not RIP THEM APART! only in true extreme case should the children be removed. and the foster homes some are far worse than what the child lived in to begin with infants going unloved abused because they want the mothers they were born to. my HEART IS BLEEDING AND LONGING FOR THE JUSTICE TO COME. I would take each and every one of them with love of a true mother until the day could go home to MOMMY!!! I can’t help but wonder why the foster home aren’t more carefully watched especially with all that you see and hear about in the news. MORE CHILDREN DIE AT THE HANDS OF CPS AND FOSTER HOMES THAN AT THE HANDS OF PARENTS that should speak for its self. TO ALL OF THOSE WHO READ THIS if you are a FOSTER PARENT give these children the love they so long to have while they are absent for their parents who truely love them, TO CPS WOKERS understand the family unit needs to be held together as much as possible even if they parents need guidence offer help not removal they need to learn how to response to your programs with their children, and TO THE PARENTS if you are parents that truely love you children remember these are gifts for God, not BURDENS, so even with the stress of everyday life find your joy and peace in their eyes and laughter for you dont know the day when you could be writing, fighting , missing them. MY PRAY IS THIS: to the Lord that gave the gifts of Heaven may He bring each and everyone home to their Loving ,Longing Families and begen Healing this Great Nations Family Unit for in God we Trust and in HIS HANDS OUR FUTURE LIES. May He make the unjust, just and the wrong, right. In JESUS CHRIST WE EXCEPT AND RECEIVE ALL THINGS Amen.

If parents let their teens have cell phones, will CPS consider it abuse because it may cause brain cancer?

I don’t like cell phones. I ask people to take the calls in a more private room than where the rest of us are.
However, cell phones may protect many kids, it’s easy to dial 911.

What we need is social workers with horse sense. I have never seen a group of people lacking common sense as much as government social workers.

In this day and age cell phones are almost a necessity, however, I don’t think most folks are aware that their phones should have a feature or menu item to shut off the GPS on their phones. Without this setting being on it should make it impossible for anyone to track your phone. Wiretaps are illegal without a court order, and I don’t think they can do it if you shut off that GPS signal on your phone. Good luck to all you poor folks currently being hassled by CPS. Hang in there!

They propbably do have the power but I know in the state of Texas it would likley be thrown out in court due to the invasion of privacy. However they may use it as a scare tactict. However like a said here I think it would be thrown out as well as in any other state if you have a good lawyer.

Next thing you know DHS will tell you when you can go to the bathroom or what to eat or what time to get up or when to watch tv etc etc etc Our Governor is just as bad he knows what DHS does to poor people and he is allowing it to happen our govenment doesn’t help his own people people that comes in to our country he helps them and DHS helps them stay togther but tears our family apart.

“…invasion of privacy…” alas, i told the ignorant CPS/DCS worker (the woman who kidnapped my babies) that i felt this and she simply stated, “Oh, we are VERY invasive.” i did nothing wrong. i was trying to escape my abusive husband and she(Ronda Waring, DCS–claims to be a Christian) took my angels to his house…his cousin is a rapist and has frequent contact with my children. the court is a circus of insanity. they believe i am on drugs because of my ex husbands lies and my recent breakdown because they KIDNAPPED MY CHILDREN and my babies want to come home. i miss them too much.

I know of a case in my county (rutherford) in TN is known to let CPS even install video cameras in people’s home to “monitor the people living at the home” allegedly drug people etc. living there with the mother when she lived alone. Here if the evidence made it to court the corrupt judge in our county would let it in because she does not follow the laws at all and then will block your appeals if you are active in your case like me. she blocked my adjudication and dispositional appeals by refusing to allow the juvenile file to be copied for it could go up to circuit court.

How does a mother handle not being with their children there are times I can’t go on at times I wish I could die I miss my children so much it is a wonder I don’t have a nervous breakdown I can’t handle it much longer even though my children are 16 and 19 my son doesn’t want anything to do with me because my exinlaws has brainwashed him against me I wonder if my daughter feels thesame way.

About a year ago I and my wife were under investigation by CPS for child abuse. For some reason during the beginning of the investigation when I would use my cell phone I would hear a clicking noise as if someone was connecting to my line. This only happened for a few weeks and then I never heard it again. I believe the local police can and do listen in to cell phone conversations. Perhaps it can’t be used in court, but they could use information from the phone to determine if they should go after you and your family more forcefully.

they (cps) can put cameras in your household to watch you I had found a camera in my left corner next to my bed about 3 feet from me an i know my tv where once was a screw … then a waxie cover camera very little i took my needle nose plyiers an pulled it out, an down stairs had a fit.. does she know where the other camers are?????? he said no but they will watch you 24/7 no matter where you are diane

Zaphoid, you must be CPS-worker. I was never in touch with the child they said I knew.

The CPS did not even know my real name or the address where I lived.

The CPS did not even know where I work or what I do for living.

I was not informed of the hearing that had been in Muskegon court house. I was not there.

I got a call from the CPS saying I was deported from the country because I was dating a man whose exwife was revengeful and lied about me.

I never even spoke to the exwife.

The CPS did not interview the child’s psychologist, his teachers, doctors - nobody! They did not check any of the police records! They did not check any of the lies the exwife made!
The CPS was racist and hated foreigners in MUSKEGON, MICHIGAN!!! The CPS just said that I’m foreigner and therefore illegally in the country and therefore also I’m an imminent danger to anyone.

I have the INS and police records to prove that I was not even in Michigan when they claimed something happened!!!!!!!!! I was not even in the U.S!!!!

They faked the whole report. They lied and falsified the reports and put me to some f******* record of theirs.

Do you think I don’t own my problems: MY PROBLEM is the LYING CPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
