If CPS really thought you were a danger to your kids they would have been taken to foster homes already. You need to get an attorney right away. This is a legal matter and your family needs professional help to get CPS to back off. I unfortunately don't know of any good CPS lawyers in your state, but I suggest you find one that isn't in your county. Local lawyers often kiss up to local judges and CPS workers, and that makes them ineffective as defense attorneys. Do not try to leave; you have to walk through the fire in order to put it out. The next day her supervisor called my wife threatening to take all 3 of our sons from us.I came home ,,he showed up with 3 sheriffs and stated I have 3 minutes to comply with him or he is taking our sons(again,,no paperwork), to comply I needed to leave my house,,allow them to see all 3 of our sons alone for forensics,,an advocate and their doctors,,or else. The supervisor took my 13yr old aside to ask him what happened,,our son told him,,"he fell",, the supervisor then took our 4 yr old aside and asked him,,"who pushed Sean down"(our 4 yr old wasn't even outside at the time.Our son and neighbors telling him what actually happened meant nothing.Now we have to allow our sons to go to their testing sites alone.We have receive not one shred of paperwork as of yet.We had no choice but to agree or lose our children that day. Most of the time the children are better off at home. Instead of telling the parents, "Get rehab or lose your kids," they just rip the kids away, torment them in foster homes and with separation from the parents they love, and traumatize the parents. Our country is going to pay for the torture of children and families - and no, I don't know how it will pay but I see the karma building up and I know there will be a backlash on the evil-doers because that's how life works. The CPS worker came out to our home and we allowed her to come into our home and see our daughter and talked with her about the spanking. My husband admitted that he may have spanked a little bit too hard that time and agreed that it wasn't something that he should have done. We do spank our kids because we believe in spare the rod and spoil the child. I had spankings when I was a kid and honestly I feel that was the most effective punishment. We do not beat our children and we only use our open palms to spank the children. A couple weeks ago I had to discipline the 5 yr old because the boys were in my care while their father was at work. I popped him on his butt and he whined for a second and that was it. The next day my husband gave him and his other boy a bath and there were no marks on his bottom. We look for marks because the boys have told us of their mother spanking them with a belt and we are concerned for their safety with her. A few days later the boys had been returned to their mother for a day and a half and CPS is knocking on our door. The worker showed us a photo of a mark on the 5 yr old's bottom. It was a red mark. About an inch to two inches long. No idea what or where it came from. But when the 5 yr old was questioned by his mother he said that I had spanked him that weekend. I know that I did not leave any marks on my stepson. Scratch that. MY SON!! He and his brother are my life just as much as my own daughter. The CPS worker evaluated our home again and said that it was safe. A couple days later my husband got a call from his ex wife asking for him to meet with her and the social worker alone on Tuesday. I am so worried because my husband is so easily manipulated and I don't want him to do anything that could hurt his relationship with his kids. I called the social worker and asked if I was needed and she made it a point that I was not invited. Not that I wasn't needed. That I was not wanted there. I asked her what it was concerning and she said that she was going to have my husband sign a "No Spanking Pact" agreeing not to spank either of the boys. I am not sure what will happen if he refuses to sign it but isn't it a violation of his constitutional rights. They have nothing to charge him with and the worker herself said that if this went to court it would be thrown out. Should he sign it and just let it go? Or should he refuse to sign it? They have just taken my best friends grand-daughter after she broke up with her husband. She had 4 wisdom teeth removed and was taking pain medicine. He caused DS and said that she was addicted to it. This is just outrageous. I cannot believe what they get away with. The have my granddaughtere, the excuse, I kept her on a bottle too long, a water bottle. It was her security thing after her mother deserted her and I did not have the heart to take it away from her, we were working on it when she was taken. These people are totally NUTS. Thank-God,
