School reported neglect. I foolishly let the CPS worker in my home.

Now they want my entire family and caregivers at a meeting on Monday May 5, 2008. I have only signed for permission for the meeting. Ihavn’t signed any service plans. After reading this, I will not. I need counsel ASAP.

I need a lawyer who knows how to stop Cass County Mich from terminating my rights based on probable cause that I dont have the ability to parent my children. I need someone capable right away. 5 children 4 different foster homes. A crib my baby never slept in. My 16 on myspace in her panties-foster parents are not properly supervising her. 8 year on pyscho- drugs and narcatices. They want to put my 7 year old on drugs. 3 year old thinks the paid parents are his mommy and dad. Please help us we dont have much time.

canada has custody of my sons daughter..she is a us citizen and he is….my son cannot enter canada because of his crimnal record…he is sick , sick over not seeing her…son and girlfriend are living with me in us….girlfriend lives in canada with child at aunts….we need a lawyer and all of us back it the US

My children Abi 6. and ChloeAnn 2, were taken Ts night. The only father they have ever known was pulled over and arrested for drugs. The police brought him to our home and searched with dogs, etc. I was in shock, but did my best to help with what I could (constantly being told by officers that they could call DCFS if I was uncooperative). I was scared, and grasping for answers to their questions. In the end, they took my girls and even though I have passed drug tests (I was and am not on drugs!!), and tried to work the system all seems to no avail. Please help my babies, they are sooo scared! They don’t deserve this, it is not their fault. I made a bad judgement call and should have left, but worried about the impact uprooting them and starting a new life would have had. Now they are without the only Mother and Father they have ever loved or known and I am willing to do anything to stop their suffering. Please help me, I am at a loss for where to turn, or where to start. Please I Love Them and I cannot bear to see their suffering. (Public defender waived my meeting w/ judge on 2nd day and wont read info I have brought, also tells me he will see me @ my next court date to work with DCFS until then.) He also told me to get a job, get housing and get a life. I thought I had one, I need advise and/or HELP!!

I am a single mother of a 3 year old. I am also a California medical Marijuana patient and I am now being investigated by CPS. My child was not removed from my home however I am looking for legal advise and possibly counsel.

My 4 month baby was taken March 17 by CPS because of an email sent by my husband to some members of his family. Since then we have been to Court and can only see our son 4 hours a week. My baby was born 2mos premature. We were sent for psych eval which at first CPS sent us to see an intern who didn’t listen to us and falsified her report on behalf of CPS. Our attorneys sent us w/ a forensic psychiatrist who found we were not suffering from any illness and yet CPS social worker who initially stated “if the tests come back normal you will get your son back” and now she is singing a different tune. She says it is up to the attorneys now. We need a lawyer to sue her for judging us, reporting her investigation incorrectly, omitting the truth because it didn’t help benefit in keeping our son. Until now we are still waiting for our Court date. We want our son back but to assure something is done so she doesn’t do this to others.

I am in CPS removal case in Collin County Texas. I have PMC of 2 grandsons and the 2yr wandered off, and now the boys have been removed. I was not neglectful I had not been woken up fully when the older grandson and 18 year old dau were being taken to school. There is a history that CPS has been contrived over the last 2 years even bringing up a bogus case my then teen daughter (13 Years ago) brought against me. We cooperated with CPS the last time and it took us 18 months to get our grandchildren back from CPS custody.

I have custody of my brothers 2 children because there mother left them over 20 months ago. I do have an attorney, but i want someone who is not afraid to go after CPS and there employees for harassment, falsifing document and intimidating both my niece and the rest of our family. Her mother because of this is also making false staements about both myself and my family because she wants to get custody back of only my niece. I have been falsly accused of child abuse only towards my niece. I have custody of my nieces brother (my nephew) and 2 children of my own. I have fought CPS for over 3 years and they found a judge who believes there lies so now I am the the United States Supreme Court trying to get them to leave myself and my child alone I need help doing a certitiorie can anyone please help me. The court system I was dragged through was all in same building aan I never got a fair trial , but they will not tell me how to do what must be done now as they consider it a case closed which it is not.

monday, my kid’s grandma. picked my girls up from my house. i have joint custody of my daughter. my step daughter also visits on 3 and a half day basis’s . gina/ the grandma swore she was going to kick (mom) out of her house the next night. she relayed storie’s of our oldest daughter (my step) who has known no other as dad her whole life. of her mom sticking her fingers in her. our oldest had told me the same story two day’s before and asked me to pinky promise not to tell. her mom detailed what i already heard! she swore she was going to kick her out of her house that day, and that p.s. was going to be looking at family members for custody. a week later i calll her house only to find my ex (her daughter answering the phone) not gone! she tells me (my ex) that she can not say anything, the girls are not there, and to call RITA at p.s. .
something is not right…… i do have child support warrant’s, but something is very wrong. her ex after leaving me is a pimp, MO-LOVE and our oldest described her mom doing thing’s with her in mo’s house and subsequently in her mom’s house while the rest of the family was at school or work and before mom went.

i will talk with cps this coming monday, but i feel something is WAY OFF.

Well friends what brought me here because i am scared i will be judged and that does really does scare me. I have twins soon to be 14,i have been a single parent ever since they were born. One of my sons was diagnosed with ADHD, a impluse control disorder and ODD. I had to not work so i could care for him, and don’t mind he’s my child .As the years went by it seems to get bad and then good he’s unpredictable . He has anger issues and can get out of control and it started affecting all 3 of us. He did real good in a sturctured school and was doing fine. Then he hit 7th grade,wow transition and him don’t get a long. So some kids were messing with him and he didn’t want to go backi did tell the school,you see that was a public school and hes used to a small and more structured inviorment so i couln’t get him to go back, so someone called on me and said i was neglecting my child so they took him from me FEB 21 08. just one of them and the one they took said he was unstable to stay in the home with me. The funny part i have deicated my whole life and sacreficed a lot to take care of my kids no sex or soical life and i don’t regret anything i have done, i have no crimal record, clean as awhistle i don’t drink or do drugs or even smoke cigs. we have never been in trouble before, This is all new to me,I get to see my son everyday and i go and eat dinner with him everyday,but thats not cutting it they watch us eat and talk. I have lost the most important thing to me a child And thier birthdays will be this SAT and i only get to spend 2 hours with him.He gets SSI and they took that to. He was expecting a nice gift and now i can’t get him anything.He earns money there and he gives it alll to me he is the most unselfish kid i have ever known he doesnt want to see anyone go with out.One of the staff working there said i was the only consistant parent he has ever seen i have kids there calling me MOM,some of them have no one,there parents won’t do what they have to do to get there kids back Hell i can’t breathe without my kids. But i do have a clean record i only have to go to parenting ,and therapy and i have already started therpy and start parenting class April 9 They say i have to have a physic evual,so just waiting on that. So……….i guess you could say i am very lonely inside my heart,and i cry everyday. I am thankful i have MY kids.I love them with all i have,my whole HEART. Note: we have never been seperated this is our first time.

I have been trying to sue DHS for what they did to my life , one and a half years of true HELL, and just today they took all the money from my bank, now how am I supposed to pay to feed the kids they tried to take from me, Do they really care for the kids, or is it all about how much money can they make, It is not over yet I will sue if it is the last thing I do, Not for me, Truely for the kids, The pain my son went through, my wife and the new born, they do not act the same, God Help my family come back together again, Amen

I am a grandmother who has been treated unfairly by Children Protective and Family Services regarding my grandchildren. Two have been placed for unrelated adoption and the family have ran out of money trying to fight to stop Children Protective and Family Services.

Need an Attorney in Houston, Texas to battle CPS. Mother and boyfriend given life sentence for injury to one of my six grandchildren. CPS gave four of the children to their fathers and placed two for unrelated adoption not considering family members nor myself. Also, need a publisher to write a book. Have all documentation and court records with judge’s hand written notes etc.

i am a mothe rof 3 and cps took my kids because they said i tested posivive for methamphetamine which is not true because i dont use. i believe the test showed a false positve for medication that ive taken. how do i proove this?

I need to find lawyer willing to fight CPS in Indiana. Kids were taken, one I admit needs help because doctors can’t seem to figure out her problems. Other children are being held for riduculous reasons such as one is being held for dry skin. HELP!

I am a parent who has been fighting CPS for 10 years (they ignore prior court rulings, orders of dismissal, orders for case closure, the decisions of the appellate court in my case) this is what I have learned. Cooperating doesn’t work. Being nice while you wait for them to investigate and remove false allegations as they are required to do doent work. FOIA AND HIPAA request to ammend incorect records either. I drug tested over 7 years almost everyday, even after Judge ordered them to stop, noting the caseworker has been identified as someone who manipulates results. Never paricipate in any service unless they substantiate allegations, only then take drug test or services at expense, they will find fault in whatever you do (its funny because the State has criteria to hold Licenses and other standards that should be complied with - so why is their a night and day dif. in opiniopn????? Ask the drug testing lab to send your sample to a private lab for retest at your expense and pay for their retest theGCM cost $50. When you prove it was a false positive they will never let it go and report it wrong to all prof involved in case. I saw this statement as the primary problem I havent been able to overcome. My names history of abuse is so substantial that any use of any substance prescription, over the counter, illegal or otherwise would constitute abuse. Therefore I will never be able to stay clean and effectively parent my children. Response to use of sinus medication…. my name took an overdose of over the counter sinus medication to immulate the effects of meth. Which would constitute a relapse (i LIKE YOU THOUGHT I MUST HAVE TAKEN A MEDICATION, WHICH I DO FROM TIME TO TIME, OFFERING EXCUSES BECAUSE I WAS CLEAN). tHEY WILL LIE ABOUT YOUR RESULTS, CHANGE THE CUT OFF LEVELS BELOW THE INDUSTRY NORM SO YOU WILL HAVE FALSE POSITIVES, THEY WILL MIX IN OTHER PEOPLES RESULTS, THEY WQILL MIS REPORT COMPLIANCE SAYING YOU NO SHOWED OR CALLED IN ONE DAY BUT SHOWED UP THE NEXT MAKING YOU NONCOMPLIANT—WHEN THE TRUTH IS YOU CALLED, SHOWED UP, AND WAITED AS LONG AS 23 HOURS TO TEST - I HAD ON ONE OCCAISSION - USUAL WAIT WAS 4-5 HRS. WHILE DRIVING 50 EACH WAY ROUND TRIP!!!UA’S with positive results areheld 6 months. They miscalculated the date in my case informing the court 5 months 26 days of positivie, luckily i knew i could retest and my mom let me borow the 50 dollars, It doesnt matter….its only about money.. we are feeder fish for the corrupt judges, case workers, attorneys, etc….

i think it is great that cps in its wisdom can allow 2 1/2 year olds to make their own decisions. Your grandson looks very smart but lets hope he doesn’t ask that man if he can drive home, he would probably let him. The coercion the caseworkers use to manipulate a childs mind and the ineffective questioning techniques used by the attorneys all who failed your grandson, he was set up tp fail. Any abuse you grand son endured is, in my opionion the States fault. Fighting CPS for 10 years, I am going to quess that your daughter was in prison either giving birth before or while in prison, i would assume you were the original and only placement during your grandsons life. I would bet that CPS provided little if any services for your daughter while in prison, if any visitation was done, it was probably at your expense and availability, you do have many others, granchildren, career, I would quess you do not require the financial assistance or know to ask that non relative placements get automatically. You probably found your grandson to be perfect and hoped his mother your daughter would have a wonderul life, that your daughter learned new skills, coping skills, parenting skills, completed GED, or trade, or college while in Prison, ready and equiped with, ID, DL, Resume, Birth Certificate, Job intervirewing skills, daily living skills, medical, dental, food subsidy, visual, mental health services, housing, transportation, socail and peer support, family support, mentoring,etc. Allowing your daughter to rientergrate into society with the least chance for failure and recidivism, I worked as a counselor/teacher in the Texas Prison System, we incorproated these skills intothe Education classes, Project RIO, Changes, Substance Abuse Programs etc. I encourage and taught long distant parenting to help maintain the bond to facilitate with a more succesful parent child relationship upon return.
I hate to be sinacle, but I would bet your daughter was released, no one had addressed the bonding and attachment issues related to seperation, incarceration, events surronding pregnancy (rape, abuse, good relationship), what had been done to maintain or develop bond. Did mom even want this child upon her release if ever? Some parents don’t but aren’t given the oppurtunity or feel quilty as if it is not okay to know you are not ready and it would be in the best interest to…..Or was CPS ASSIGNED TO SLAM MOM WITH THE CHILD, LEAVE IT UP TO HERSELF TO FIND HOUSING EMPLOYMENT, THREATENING HER WITH SEVERENCE AND ADOPTION IF SHE FAILED, NOT FINDING SERVICES APPROPRIATE FOR HER NEEDS, SETTING UP SERVICES WITH SUCH SEVERITY, THAT SUCCESS WAS NOT POSSIBLE, ONLY CASE PALN FAILURE….POSSIBLY ABUSE AS MOM FEEL APART, UNABLE TO COMPLETE AND SUCCEED AT THE ONE THING SHE WANTED MOST TO DO WELL. This would be my guess. No other parent has children returned like those getting out of prison. Parents with extra obstatcles trying to find and maintain safe and appropriate housing (felonys prevent this often palcing children in areas with sex offenders, drup addicts, etc.) the same problem with obtaining employment. When I hear the word of CPS discribing abuse in graphic wways like horrendous, to horrible to describe, that made them ill……I think its a smoke scrren because they do not now, do not care, want extra attention….Cps workers and reporters should only be allowed to report the facts. to professionals, FCRB, THE pRESS…..The child weighing 60 pounds lost 16 pounds in almost 3 weeks (almost 1/3 of body weight), moms failure to obtain proper medical care when daughter was noted as dirty, lethargic, expressing, she needed mom to keep her safe and take her home, putting gum in her hair so momy could take her home and get it out. CPS covers up the abuse of relative palcements, non relative placements an d do not have to explain their reason for denying a child medical care when mom insisted it be obtained, the case worker did not feel the need to weigh the child whom had been describesd as a fas/fae with a history of failure to thrive (medical records from pediatrician unsubstantiated allegations of this. The family placement who ignores the signs while in her care, is never looked at for her reason for wanting to care and receive money, every time a allegation is proven not only incorrect but grossley inaccurrate and fraudulant. The failure of the agency to communicate combined with the funding ability to survive only at the expense of our children. The more horrible the abuse, the more money. Cps needs to be destroyed or funded based on reunification, evidence that services benefit family, they get out of care function better, etc. Until CPS is funded to facilitate health and well being, rewarded for preservation and keeping children at home, more damage will be done. I have been fighting for ten years. The pain is as great today as it was in 1999. My daughters who were succesfully reunified and returned in 2000, promised full closure of case and dismissal in 90 days—-still hasnt happeNED

On Sept 11,2001, my husband woke me up as the first plane went into thetower. I was a teacher and knew my children could not be protected from this . We called the girls in and held them in ou laps. AS THE SECOND PLANE WENT INTO THE TOWER MY OLDEST SAID, “That is how CPS makes you feel,” My youngest Michelle agreed saying yea, that is how cps makes you feel, they promised the would be gone in 90 days, make them go away…… The were5 and 6 years old, they had spent three years in the system after false allegations were made, the Ombudsman and Judge that made recommendations and corrections to file orders for closure and dismissal all ignored. My husband Michael died Nov.5 2004, after are third refinance, after 4 dismissals and full case closures, nO ONE CARES TO STOP THE FALSE ALLEGATIONS AND USE OF POWER AND CONTROL TO HARASS AND CONTROL MY FAMILY FOR BOTHE PERSONAL PLEASURE AND FINANCIAL REWARD. I AM A GRANDMOTHER OF 3, CPS THE OLDEST IS 5 JUST TURNED IN APRIL. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WITH ME SINCE BIRTH. I HAVE GONE THRU THE CAREGIVER PART AND WAS CURRENTLY GOING TO KINSHIIP. ON APRIL 30 APPROX 2 WEEKS AFTER THE OLDEST TURNED 5. CPS SHOWS UP AT THERE SCHOOL/DAYCARE AND REMOVES THEM. STATING THEY RECEIVED A CALL THAT I TOOK THE KIDS TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH THIER MOTHER. THEIR MOTHER IS CURRENTLY IN REHAB, HAS BEEN THERE FOR OVER 90 DAYS, THIS JUST DID NOT HAPPEN. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING AND WE HAVE BEEN IN OUR APT FOR ONLY 5 DAYS THE GIRLS ARE NOT USE TO SLEEPING THERE AND KNOW ARE HOPEFULLY TOGETHER BUT WITH STRANGERS IN A FOSTER HOME. My daughter needs a lawyer in Muskegon, Michigan. She left her Father and I power of Attorney and we applied for Limited guardianship so she could establish a job, and place to live in Kent County. The guardianship was denied due to 20 year old stuff on the Grandfather’s record. They had another court 1 hour later to remove him from our care, and put this 8 month old in Foster home. They never even considered letting my daughter take her son. There is no abuse nor neglect. My husband the GrandFather moved out and I petitioned the court to get limited guardianship myself with him out of the home. They told me A’venn wasn’t removed because of abuse or neglect. My daughter moved to a differerent county, they never even gave her a chance to take her son back. They assumed she needs this and that, and accused her of biopolar, and she had to take a test, which she passed. CPS was giving the Biological Father information when he was not the legal Father. He let the case close. He has only seen his son twice in 8 months, and has not paid one dime of child support. We need help getting A’venn back home where he belongs.

Oh I forgot they put that the Maturnal GrandFather had a drug problem when he was never convicted of drugs. The CPS worker said to the Judge that the Grandfather had a drug problem. The grandfather demanded a drug test, and they did a hair test and it came back negative. The cps worker Slandered the grandfather in court without having evidence to back it up.

i have a lawyer but i feel she is not willing to finght for my rights and i have a good case mylife and my childrens lives could be greatly impacted even ruined if cps and/or possibly the biological fathers of my children have their way i am being manipulted in ways that are unspeakable i am an educated women and feel as if everything is being ripped from my life please help

I recently had my home burgurlarized, which led to the discovery of my daughters twisted life. I took her phone and discovered nude pictures of herself that were taken in my bedroom and text messages which suggest her new boyfriend (who is also a “BLOOD”) is pandering to his buds. She was truant for half a semester when her Engish teacher (not the principal) contacted me. Since she has been informed by local law enforcement that as a 17 year old she is free to do whatever she wants. I have found letter in her room expressly stating this young man has hit her. I fear she is on drugs. the young mans mother who is not much older than he is a “great” influence on my daughter and has allowed her to live with them along side his 6 and 8 year old siblings. I believe he or his friends were involved in the burgulary, I know that my daughter is using drugs. I do not want her home at this point, and not much worried about cps as I have these letter in her own handwriting stating he hit her. What sort of legal help can I get to protect her from herself. I think she may have adhd and or a bi/polar disorder (something that I have been in denial about)

Dizzy - sometimes there’s not much you can do. Sometimes the best thing is to let go and let them grow up and become more responsible on their own. Be grateful she isn’t in your home causing you problems. At seventeen she’s old enough to leave home. The magical age of eighteen isn’t really the right age for all kids. Some leave home earlier, and some later. It looks like your daughter’s time has come. Let go, and love her so that a more mature relationship can develop. That’s my advice, and I speak from experience. I have a nineteen year old daughter who put me through a lot a few years back, but she’s doing just fine now. And by the way, I too consider my daughter to have ADHD and Bi-Polar disorder… we have a lot in common! But my daughter has been making her own treatment (or non-treatment) decisions for a few years now, and so long as she isn’t living with me, it doesn’t affect me much one way or another.

My boyfriend of 5 years just found out he has a 5 yr old son in state custody after paternity testing. One of his best friend’s ran off with his girlfriend and signed the birth certificate 5 yrs ago. We are meeting with the foster parents tomorrow who want to adopt him. My BF has been being pressured to sign over custody. He also has a criminal background with no felonies but several assaults but went to drug and alcohol counseling and anger management about 4 years ago. We also have had a few arguments where I went to the police but with no charges since then and they found out about them and are using them against us. They thoroughly interogated us last week which I wasn’t expecting and I’m scared we said something wrong that they will use against us in court next week while they are trying to terminate the mother’s rights. I’m scared the public defender is too young and inexperienced to know what to do with the case. We need a lawyer. My BF must have rights, doesn’t he? I would gladly marry him and adopt the child.

Today one of my employees and neighbor 3 houses down, had CPS come to his homeand take his 3yr old son away from him. The grounds for this disruption and traumma to this completely inocent young boy and his fathers life is unbelievable. James has been fighting for custody of his son for about a year now. Since hisestranged GF rammed his car with the child in the car with her. James has a past but since his release in 06 he has had no new charges of any kind, lives at home with his grandparents, works hard and has matured enough to leave his past behind and strive to be a true father to his son. He has complied with the courts family plan for him and has custody though the court, has passed all of his random urine tests, has passed 3 to 4 searches of his person and vehicle for months now. CPS required him to take a follicle test in which they tested his underam hair only came back positive for some type of amphetimine that is used in over the counter cold remedys. That type of test taken from body hair alone dates back a year or more, by what grounds can CPS take the child for endangerment? He needs help, his son Lucas needs help, this is an appalling situation that is causing unecessary trauma to a young boy’s life. please help!

my chilldren were injustly taken after my children and myself stood up and told that my husband at the time was sexually molesting,drugging the family and more crimes. he’s a medical doctor who ran for mayor and we have a lot of evidence ignored.please we need help soon. I currently live in a very unhealthy shelter. I was messd all over in my divorce and he told lies . he’s damaged my neck and spine. some workers and other athorties told me they know lies have been documented and my children kept injustly. next court date may 29,2008 10:00am in wayne county juvenile court detroit michigan where if I donot go along with the lies my rights will get terminated please help soon!!!!!!!!!!!

I still have custody of my kids but my husband and I have been accused of child abuse. My 8 month old daughter is being tested for Brittle Bone Disease and DCS thinks it is child abuse. We love our kids more than anything. We also have a 7 yr old daughter and an almost 5 yr old daughter. The judge in the preliminary hearing let us keep our kids for now but we have a court date coming up on May 30 and they were suppose to appoint us an attorney and have not yet but the more we have talked about it we want a private attorney who has experience in false allegations of child abuse. Please please we need legal help badly. We can’t lose our kids over a medical condition. We were told they were going to indict us. What I need is someone to talk with me and tell me if I have a case against CPS or the Guardian At Liem. I have been through the system in Dallas Texas with allegations that we never proven, everything turned out to be medical issues but the childrens attorney drug this case to the bitter end while my children were being abused in the system.. I took pictures and have witnesses not to mentioned that I spent over $35K in legal fees to get my children back. I an experienced attorney advised me to move to another county in order to move the case because the judge the caseworkers and the kids attorney were corrupt..Got to Tarrant county and the CPS agency there returned my children in less than a month’s time, I have been in Dallas’s system jumping through hoops and getting ready to go the trial for 1 solid year. I later found out why the original caseworker took herself off my case, she was quoted as saying it was not right what the Guardian at Liem was doing to Mrs Robinson (me) but she (caseworker) had to feed her family” My God so you turn your back on my instead. I just learned about this and some other comments that were made but case was not fair and the Guardian at liem abused her power and the Judge allowed it from start to finish.

I need some direction and help because I felt this system has robbed my children. $35K might not be a lot to some people but it is quite a bit to us but not only that, these people should not be allowed to try another case nor work one. My son had a yeast infection that was so severe that he was bleeding and they said I was hostile, I felt I have right to be.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s a new one….

I need a NEW attorney. We got our kids/grandkids home BUT were in the process of a lawsuit (very high profile). The State Atty General filed a complaint with the State Bar against our attorney leading the way right before he finished the petition for Federal Court.

ANyhow, Our Atty was placed on Interim Suspension at the bar pending an investigation and hearing. He cannot finish the suit petition now.

The State Atty Gen is asking for a postponement of the hearing. Of course, this is all to try and run out our time limit to file the suit. Here we only have 180 days to file or all is lost. Case was dismissed on 3/4/08.

I have a huge box full of evidence!!!

Need someone in the Prescott or Phoenix AZ. area.

My daughter is in need of a good lawyer to fight CPS. Her children were removed from her home in Wood County Texas on Thursday May 1, 2008. This was done after false allegations were made by the principal at the elementary school after speaking with my daughter’s boyfriend’s 5 yr old has an issue with setting things on fire and almost hurting my other grandchildren.
I have sent letters to the Gov of Texas and to CPS Commissioner as well as State Reps and County Commissioners. The Governor’s office is overseeing the investigation at this time and I found out the CPS office in Wood County is under investigation and the same worker is the one that takes all the children in the area out of their stable enviroments. We need help asap. There is a conference with CPS on May 14th. Thanks

Hi I live in Michigan and i’m a Families First worker, I work under contract from cps (dhs in Mi) my husband was accused falsely by them over a year ago and he was found not guilty case dropped. Now I was told by my boss that they been complaining about me and she may have to let me go. they say i been bad mouthing them to my clients which is not true. is there anyway I can sue them for slandering my name and causing me to loose my job? Hi everyone. Muskegon Michigan here, my friend recently had cps kidnap her kids… yes an actual kidnapping here, on Sunday May 4th, the police came to her house and told her that the kids are going to be staying at her ex boyfriends house, she said that heck no they are going to go there he isn’t thier father and he is a sex offender. the police officer said that this was ordered by CPS and the only other choice would be to have them permanently taken away and placed in child haven (she wishes she would have said child haven now). on monday she was told that a CPS worker would get ahold of her tuesday and only because her Pastor called them and made an appointment as CPS did not want to talk to her. On tuesday CPS came to her home and told her that there were allegations of abuse and would not be returning to her until things were found out, she told them that her kids were never abused by her but have been abused many times by the man that kidnapped them and called cps to justify it, and by helping him that cps was also kidnapping them. CPS also told her that where she lived wasnt good enough for kids, she said ok no problem that this 3 bedroom house isnt good enough because there is 9 people living there when her kids were there…hard times people sometimes have to live with other people until have enough to get your own place again. and told her that her boyfriend can not be around the kids because even though he is 35 now and when he was 19 had a girlfriend that was only 15 he might molest them so she makes poor choices and the boyfriend has to have a risk screening to be able to be around kids or cps will take all kids he goes around…. I have personally known both of these people for 8 years now and i know she is an awesome mom and that her boyfriend is a great guy that does not have a thing for kids.
now it is friday and the kids are still with her ex-boyfriend, a guy as mentioned is not related to them and has no custody and is a sex offender of 13 year old girl when he was 30. How can CPS put take kids out of a house with out an order from the court and keep them out for all this time without a hearing, and how can they place them with a man that has abused these kids before?
i am helping all i can financially but i do not have any extra income to get her an attorney to get her kids…but with out a court hearing scheduled how can an attorney help, her kids are an hour away from her with no contact and this guy could be molesting them at any minute!

I realize this is a shot in the dark. After reading all that was written to this website, I can only hope for the best. I am an Army veteran and mother of 2. I became pregnant while I was stationed in Korea. The father was also an Army veteran (Dishonorably discharged) The father denied the son I was carrying was his, but after his birth and I returned to the states, he decided he would accept the child. Thanksgiving 1997 he raped me with a knife to my throat. Our son was several months old but non the less he fled and eventually was caught in 1998 in Corpis Christi, TX and expedited to Ohio. He served time and was required to register as a sex offender for 10 years. In 2003 he was given custody of our son. Franklin County Children Services beat down my door by a false allegation I have a police report to back and bullied me repeatedly for months to take several drug tests. I am a mother who does not believe in someone else raising my kids so I worked a third shift job as a dancer. I made alot of money(honestly) and my kids never wanted for anything. This individual used this to his advantage and I came back positive in a cocaine test. I would have refused the test if I had voluntarily taken drugs but I knew in my mind I had not. Regardless I came back positive and the custody went to a registered sex offender and he gets 1/2 my paycheck every week. He can still tell me when I can and cannot see my son regardless of court orders, because he knows it will cost me a couple thousand dollars to take him to court to get a slap on the hand and say don’t do it again. The sad thing is I have already paid several thousands of dollars for attorneys who all of the sudden have had an emergency situation the day of our court hearing and gave me a lawyer just out of law school that knows nothing about the case 1/2 hr before the case is to be heard. I know that the courts do not know they gave custody to a felon (registered sex offender). He has been charged with perjury in the past. I was the victim and still have to bow down to what my past rapist says I can have. 11 years later nothing can heal. The man that raped me gets to kiss my child goodnight everynight, help him with homework, even though he doesn’t. He leaves that to his live-in girlfriend. He is a felon and I am not but he gets the fruit of my life. Where does the pain end. Is there no justice

cps took my grandskids about four years ago they said had achild abuse against me also against my grandkids that wasnt even born yet my one grandaughter got stapped when she ran away from an lived on the streets they did not look for her they sent a policeman to threathen me an my son that if they found her there that we would go to jail. they left her on the street to grt stapped at fourteen ;rather than to have her home with us the workers lied an kept my son from seeing them .an i had to be monitored at all times to see them they did all kinds of lies on me .my son tried to end his life because of thjs he was so hurt ifinally fought them back an adopted one of my grandaughters when i got the worker in court they wouldnt bring her into the court because they knew she lied an they wanted to cover it up they gave me another worker an it stikk took me two years to get the one grandchild home with me there is so much more to this story tis is only the tip of the iceburg ifeel they have destroyed this family to the point we can never mend so if anyone can help me bring them to justice an stand accountable for there wrongdoings i would greatly appreciate it sincerly patricia gomez

I really need some advice that I my family can actually use. Heres a breif history with limited details (I will tell the rest if someone cares to contact me about it). My husband and myself are both considered disabled (for different reasons though). I dont recieve any money benefits and his money is very limited so we are considered poor and in ‘poverty’. Cps confuses poverty with neglect. We have been abused and harrassed for two years. They have lied and broke laws. The original entry was illegal. They have poked fun and called us names. They have done many horrible things. My child is still in my home and that In thankful for. My case even has a new worker. She nicers then the old worker (which doesnt mean anything as I have only met her once) but she doesnt seem compitent. I cant afford to pay you for your help as I barely have enough to make ends meat as it is. Im just asking for someone to please help me end this. I am in West Virginia.

i needhelp fighting cps,i live phoenix,az and i have a 4month old and 3yr old girls currently wards of the state until my next hearing in oct,08.i have not been able to bond with my newborn since they would not let me take herhome from hospital when she was born on dec,2nd,..please contact me if theres anyone thatcan possibly help me get my girls back into my custody theyare my life and with them gone, my days are no longerfull of smiles or laughs.they are the one thing thatgivesme joy and brightens up each and everyday of my life. my civil rights have been violated and my court appt’d attorney is telling me to just do whatcps asks and to take my case to a higherpower.please help my family from being torn apart.
