The issue of CPS is more then just the emotional trauma it causes,it also undermines the authority of parents and other authority figures, such teachers and polices. It also threatens to destroy long held family morals, traditions. personal and political beliefs that are usually passed down to their children.

Brett, this site suggests that we learn to advocate for ourselves. Keep documentary evidence just as you would with a CPS case, and you may need to locate an attorney that handles employment matters.

After a 3 year ordeal of jumping through DCFS’s hoops to regain custody of our children, my wife was offered a position through DCFS in the PIP or Parents in Partnership to aid families in dealing with DCFS. After only a short period of srevice in this position – she has been reprimanded for doing exactley what she hired to do. Her first review was critical of one instance where something as benign as; “Be courtious and cooperative with the worker and always maintain your temper, but as a last resort you may ask to speak with their supervisor” has been distorted “insighting conflict between the party and the worker”. They are obviously building a file to support her being terminated. Where do we find an advocate to follow this on my wifes behalf? She is very bright and took this job to help, that others wouldn’t be railroaded by DCFS as we were. She has NOT stepped outside of her training in her advice to families, but it seems it’s still too much for DCFS to tolerate with this SHAM program.

I read this entire blog and my heart filled with hope. Then I got to the bottom and saw that Nancy is no longer with us! That broke my heart. I am a law student but have been working in the cps/dhhr field now for over 5 years and have seen all of these horrible things. As a lawyer, the first ppl I want to prosecute and take down are the DHHR and CPS that judge ppl for being poor and return children to ppl that REALLY ARE abusive just b/c they have money!! I hope Nancy will show me the way to get these things done!

Senator Nancy Schaefer you are my hero! you were on the right track CPS scum needs to be extermanated for good starting with Suffolk County NY cps, they are the TRUE CHILD ABUSERS LIERS who favor and help mental mother Melissa Leonard keep my two children away from me dozens false allegations all dismissed unfounded! CPS still file false allegations for her. She was the one diagnosed by forensic to have multiple mental disorderes!
Another great statement by journalist Alex Jones he would ” take 10,000 cps caseworkers and HANG’EM all ”
We need to start taking action and saving our children from these abusers and molesters like Dolores Porco Leonard and her adopted mental so called daughter Melissa Leonard and John J. Leonard that HIV infected homo!

i havent seen my daughter i pray every day that no more abuse by the state of california – but they have convinced my daughter her own mother is embarrassing. what a nice state they dont have to understand epilepsy – so they are burning us at the stake – is it the salem witch trials again???????

Just got out of jail. I have never committed a crime until I became late on child support! Ya know you can bond out for any crime like molestation, burgarly,vehicular hommicide, ect. But once you get behind on child support you are ther for a duration! That only hurts my kids, because I love them dearly. The laws need to change! Who can I contact about this?

When I recieved the devasting phone call that Senator Nancy Schaefer and her husband were murdered. My heart dropped, they were and always will be a “God Send” to me and my family! Senator Schaefer and Ihave spoken daily numerous times a couple days before her and her husbands murder. I am the Florida mother that she was helping. Please contact me!
