There are probably more caseworkers employed already than are truly needed. They just need to focus on seriously abused children and leave the rest of them alone. Does anyone know where I can read the Colorado law to make sure my rights as a parent are not violated? I will spend every dime I have on an attorney before I let my kids be subjected to some ridiculous, unfounded DFS search. I have informed my kids of their 4th ammendment rights...that no one they know is allowed to enter the house, even police, without our permission or a warrant from a judge. I have also told them the Miranda law applies to them and they have the right to remain silent, if some jerk from DFS ever tries to interrogate them again!!!
