Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Fighting Child Protective Services False Accusations

The family of Alize Vick is in need of $2100 for funeral expenses. A fund has been set up at Wells Fargo bank. See comments to this post for more information. Twenty years ago, articles like these were suppressed. But now the media lets us know when foster parents are accused of killing foster children. States can no longer cover up the murder of children they claim to protect.
I read about these tragedies often, but many times don’t write about them here. Not only is it a source of fear and depression for people who use this site, whose children are being held in the foster care system, but I honestly can’t keep up with telling you about all the on-topic articles that are published. The latest news is that a two-year-old girl, Alize Vick, was killed in a foster home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The foster parent, Jules Lynn Cuneo, 34, is accused of throwing Alize against a coffee table where she sustained a head injury. Instead of immediately rushing the child to a hospital or calling an ambulance, she put her in the shower and sprayed water on her, apparently in an attempt to revive her.
I don’t know if this foster parent is guilty of intentional abuse, or whether Alize was injured accidentally. Her first story was that she was bouncing Alize on her lap when the girl fell back and hit her head on the coffee table. Perhaps her decision to try to revive Alize in the shower was the most reasonable thing to do.
In any case, another “protected” foster child is dead, and the foster parent is being held without bail. The foster parent’s two natural children have been moved to another foster home, along with Alize Vick’s younger brother, Anthony.

That story was on the news yesterday. The system totally sucks here in CO. They throw the book at innocent parents like myself, who only have very flimsy neglect charges that would never hold in a normal state, yet they farm out kids to abusive foster homes with tragic results!

very sad story,as a father of a 3 yr old taken from me due to my being injured and poor.sad also is having my girl ANGEL come to supervised visit with me with no panties on .way to go foster family and c.p.s.oh of course this is an isolated incident and all it did was disrupt my time with my lil girl.C.P.S MUST BE REINED IN!!

ALIZE VICK WAS MY BOYFRIENDS DAUGHTER SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL AND WELL MANNERED THE LADY THAT DID THIS NEEDS SOME SERIOUS HELP NO FORGET THAT NOBODY CAN HELP SOMEONE THAT HAS TAKEN A WONDERFULL PRINCESS OUT OF THIS WORLD SHE WAS EVERYTHING TO MANY PEOPLE THE STATE IS AT FAULT BUT YET THEY SAY THAT IT IS NOT THERE PROBLEM SO THEY WONT PAY FOR THE FUNERAL WE BURRY THIS LITTLE GIRL ON WEDNESDAY AND THE MESSED UP PART IS WE DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING BURRY HER BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY FOR THE BARRIAL LOT WE HAVE TO COME UP WITH 2,100$ IN A MATTER OF A FEW DAYS A CHURCH HAS DONATED A CASKET AND THERE FUNERAL SERVICES BUT WHERE ARE WE SUPOSED TO COME UP WITH THE MONEY FOR THE REST IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOU CAN GO TO WELLS FARGO AND THERE IS A FUNERAL FUND SET UP IN ALIZE VICKS NAME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE THANK YOU

Do you have a PayPal address we can send donations to? That would be easier for me as I don’t have a Wells Fargo anywhere nearby (within 150 miles).

The funeral was paid foe by victims comp and the donations that the band of brothers gave to Alize’ burial fund. you should be ashamed of yourself and I wish I would have seen this comment you made sooner so that you couldnt use this for your benefit. you didnt know Alize’ for her daddy has been with my daughter for 3 years so get over yourself and pray to God to forgive you for this shame on you

by the way Alize’ had a burial site from day one . I am outraged at this person jaime who thinks she has the right to exploit my family and the name of my deceased granddaughter this person needs to be charged with fraud or know the facts before she writes comments like this . She cant even spell .

My son and I were in the news paper about DHS in Colorado Springs, The things the foster moms do here are unbelievable, it took me almost 2 years to get my kids back and not one thing they said was true, I am going to sue for the bruces they put on my son, I am looking for a lawyer to do this if you can help I would thank you my # is 719-210-0447 / 720-519-0711 my E-Mail is

Social workers dragged all of our kids out of school & interrogated them after an anonymous call. Does anyone know where I can read the Colorado law to make sure my rights as a parent are not violated? I will spend every dime I have on an attorney before I let my kids be subjected to some ridiculous, unfounded DFS search. I have informed my kids of their 4th ammendment rights…that no one they know is allowed to enter the house, even police, without our permission or a warrant from a judge. I have also told them the Miranda law applies to them and they have the right to remain silent, if some jerk from DFS ever tries to interrogate them again!!!

Caseworkers have too many cases- that is the problem. Workers are overwhelmed with cases and therefore turnover is extremely high. More workers need to be hired.

Kathy — I believe the real problem is that so many children are taken on marginal, trivial, unverified, or false charges that the caseworkers don’t have time for children who are truly being abused. There are probably more caseworkers employed already than are truly needed. They just need to focus on seriously abused children and leave the rest of them alone.

Colorado families - CPS’ complaint process is an exercise in futility, ignored by the current CWAC’s list of recommendations after studying the issues to death.
