Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.
Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

Fighting Child Protective Services False Accusations

August 7, 2007
A New York based advocacy group called Children’s Rights is suing the state of Michigan in federal court on behalf of 19,000 foster children who may be endangered by maltreatment in the foster care system.
The Michigan Department of Human Services refused to provide documentation on sixty-seven foster children who died in state care there since 2004. At least three of those children were killed in state licensed foster homes. Circumstances regarding the other deaths are unclear as the state refuses to release records.
At a hearing on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 U.S. District Judge Nancy G. Edmunds ruled that an expert must be hired to assess the Michigan foster care system’s adequacy. The expert, Christopher Baird of the Children’s Research Center, will study 460 random Michigan foster care files
Judge Edmunds also ordered the state to release certain foster care documents by August 31, 2007.

Another “About time” right here folks. But what’s ironic is that I am starting to believe that this is the type where these descpicable people called CPS Agencies are now paying retributions to the victims/families. I am starting to see it now, just like what God said “they will pay for it some day”. I guess the time is now. (Slowly but surely will happen) and these evil people will be sorry for what they have done to the victims.
Yes indeed, an answer to our prayers. Indeed…..

Children’s Rights is no joke. They went after Georgia. They are well funded, always file class action suits, and as far as I know, never lose.
They are the ACLU of child welfare reform. Go to their website. Send them a thank you note, as I did. I got a nice response from a paralegal who responded.

CPS or is it McCarthyiasm?
I know a woman who is very dear to me who lost 10 children through CPS in New York’s Rockland County because of false allegations supplied by a famous orthodox religious leader who was also a leader in the community of Rockland County. His influence with social services went far beyond the norm. He has had influence with various adoption agencies and judges. He is is now being indicted on many counts of sexual misconduct. There are many women coming forward in a highly orthodox jewish community claiming sexual harrasment and is being sued also in court by one of his victims. I am looking to find a lawyer that is willing to take on a case which will probably get high profile. Can someone please help us find someone who will sue Rockland County, This Rabbi and CPS of Rockland County.

about time someone gets dhs 2 go down. i cant wait 2 c the truth get out there about how many families have been destroyed due 2 the little games they play. i am a victim of cps false accusations myself. and so are 2 boys. cps takes the word of other ppl and take innocent ppls children away because the state of michigan is so broke they figure taking away children from single moms who recieve state aid and adopt them out so the state wont have 2 pay the mother who needs the help. i think this is their game with the single moms out here on state aid. we all need 2 stick together and fight cps. if we cant do it nobody will.

Personally, I would like to see some laws rewritten that would streamline the process for proven foster parents to be able adopt the foster child or children in their care. I know of several foster parents who are providing loving caring homes but are constantly having to fight the system as far as visitation rights of the birth parents. The lack of competent legal representation for the children. The lack of enforcement of court ordered requirements such as drug screening. The bottom line is this. The children need a system that protects them. The current system in Michigan does not do that. Please for the Love God do something that will make it better for the children.

foster parents dont need to adopt any children if ther not going to give them a loving home? if only they are gonna want children just to profit from them and mistreat them and abuse them

I was put in a foster home by my father because I kept running away because HE was abusive. I ran away from the Foster home and the Foster mother caught me at a truck stop (I had hitchhiked), pulled me from the truck to the pavement by my hair, took me back to her house, had her husband beat me with a bull whip then she said “Let’s show her girls, what we do with runaways” She then had 4 girls hold me down and beat me. I had a broken nose, 2 black eyes, chipped teeth etc. She encouraged it, made the girls do it and she and her family watched. The only one that made any kind protest against it was one of her daughters, Linda, and she was ignored. The Foster Mother hid me away from everyone’s sight for over a month. She kept me under lock and key with an elderly lady (who later died from neglect) . I had infections on my legs that she never took me to get treatment for (and she used to be a nurse!) and I still have scars. She would threaten us with retaliation if we ever spoke a word to the casework. But the caseworker knew. And she never did anything. It was so bad there. It was 39 years ago and I still can’t get over it. It scarred me for life.

I can see your concern with CPS and more frequently than thought, the wrong course of actions are taken with families. Not all foster families are abusive, neglecting, or profiting; many are people who are not able to have children themselves and want to help those in need. I know many loving, caring, nurturing adults who are unable to have children; they have since cared for children who have been sexually or physically abused or are from drug addicted parents.
In all of these cases, the foster parents have protected these children and provided for these children as if they were their own- giving them opportunities otherwise unattainable.
I am actually a social work major. In all of my job shadowing and research, I have found the majority of caseworkers only resort to child removal if there is IMMEDIATE danger to either parent or child or if other alternatives such as counseling and therapy failed.
Are you aware that before this lawsuit was ensued, the state of Michigan was revamping the CPS system? Requiring ALL caseworkers and other social services workers be licensed and have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work. Currently the only caseworkers who could be “grandfathered” in to continuing employment had to be licensed prior to that law and had x number of years experience and have a degree. So no- CPS does not hire its workers off of the street. There are numerous screening processes in place for the protection of families. Many of these people who call themselves social workers are not that at all and are not employed by CPS.
What do you think about murdering CPS workers who try to return your children to your homes after further evaluation? It happens- more than twice in the past decade in Michigan alone.
I am not discounting your personal experience or the pain it has caused. CPS workers must evaluate all aspects of a situation before presenting the information collected to a JUDGE to make a decision. Why don’t we eliminate the judicial system as well?
CPS is here to protect and serve children. It is sad that such entities are needed. We must remember that we are all human and we all make mistakes. As Ghandi so profoundly stated, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

But what about the case workers that take one side with out facts and with lies, and then when they are shown the lies were not ture, and they still hold on like pitbulls. Just so they do not have to admit they mess up.
We all make misteaks and so do they .
We are made to stand accountable for ours why should they not excpt responibilty when they mess up. They could just say they made a misteak and right thier wrong this should be the way it done.
thigs would be a great deal less
stressrul on the family they touch.
and go hard on the people that really had done something, I fell if you hurt a child, you shoud pay for it, but on the other hand if the accuation was made up and you works know it was stop pushing us around, and let us be the perants that we know how to be.How make you people the all in all
when it come to peranting, I sure most of you have gost in your closet. YOU WORKERS NEED TO STAND UP FOR YOU MISTEAKS AND BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

You guy’s are a joke. 99 percent of the population has NO contact with DHS. If you have contact with them chances are you are not a good parent. Take a look in the mirror and become a good parent. It’s not normal to have contact with protective services. I will help you so listen up; stop doing drugs and drinking, get a job (I don’t want to hear your disabled), give your kids a bath, have them go to school, stop having kids you can’t support (condoms.com) and stop having your bedroom door knob being turned by every dude in your hood. Here is the last suggestion; support your kids.

bless the lord, it is about time. my daughter is in state foster care because me and my girlfriend couldnt get along. i had babys mom removed from my home after she got me arrested for dv for defending myself by pushing her away. because of that and the fact that we were fighting because she would not let me see my child, they used my 10 year old marijuana/alcohol past against me and said the home wasnt safe. i have never, repeat never had a violent past and they played some major dirty ball. i would love any info on how i can get involved in this suit, and any info on how to get her back on a bs technicality would be wonderful. god bless and i hope this homewrecking industry is blown wide open and harshly punished for what they do to good people.
