Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

One of the biggest crimes of child welfare is that federal funding starts when children are ripped out of their homes and placed in foster homes. Counties want that federal funding - apparently enough to destroy childhoods. Far from being child protection agencies, they run child exploitation agencies - a cash cow for financially ailing counties.
When a simple fix would work, why destroy the entire family?
I’m always reminded of a family that posted their caseworker report to the alt.support.child-protective-services newsgroup a few years back. Four children were ripped from their parents and placed in foster homes for a year, maybe more, because the parents needed to buy a new fan and a child safety gate for their indoor stairway. These items would have cost less than one hundred dollars, but social workers devastated that family and placed the children in foster homes costing taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
LEGISLATORS: How can you let this happen? I mention one isolated case, yet this needless family destruction is happening to thousands of families. Millions of dollars are being wasted in this country on foster care and so-called child welfare “services”.
Connecticut has come up with a partial solution - to provide what they call “flex funds” which social workers can apply for to help families with various needs such as rental payments and transportation.
More of this type of social work is needed.
SOCIAL WORKERS: Focus on helping families by providing what they need. Tearing families apart over trivial needs is cruel and inhumane, and will scar the children forever. It is not child protection to traumatize them needlessly. Be reasonable!

Definately makes logical sense. Welfare social workers have funds to help with small things like that as well, why can’t DSS? It would save money if they did something like this.

I have to agree it would also save the scrutiny on cps as well. The system needs to change for our childrens sake as well as our own. Is it true that human trafficing going on with our children well look at the facts its gotta be true. Cps is like taking us back to the slavery era where slaves were being sold to others

Maybe I am being too closed minded in regards to this being a “partial solution.”
Take for instance what happened in our case. There were funds for our daughter to send our granddaughter to “respite care” for a few weeks while she moved all of them to her new home and she was to start a fantastic job.
That is when cps moved in and charged her for medical neglect and abandonment. We proved them wrong on both counts.
I see them as saying this family or that family does not meet the criteria for the “flex funds.”

i dont understand my situation with the cps. my kids are with my cousin’s house. Everytime I look up its something wrong where my kids are residing and im not happy with whats going on and the cps workers aren’t trying to make it any better. my cousin tries to complain about money from the state and the waco and mexia texas told us that they would pay for childcare we havent saw that yet. Then they said CCMS would pay my aunt to come down the street and babysit the kids, the cps tell me that they coulnd pay my aunt because someone called and said that my aunt stays there with my cousin, but catch this why wouldn’t the CPS defend my aunt and cousin , because the cps worker tells me she goes and visits my cousin all the time so she can see if my aunt stays there or not and so frankly my aunt and her boyfriend have their own house down the street. A nice three bedroom , big house, why would she want to live in her daughter’s space? Don’t you think this CPS office is fishy if someone can help me get my kids back please contact me at anytime at 254-296-0715 or 254-235-9761 my name is LaTrishia Prather, I really need some help gettin my babies back. this is so crazy we are still figthing cps .it seem like they can destroy your family in paducah ky they use the croookit police to do their dirty work so now it on the judge sanderson all of them will not see the last laugh when i get this high profile lawyer .so let heep it real.

Linda What The Guy from the News paper is saying is a bunch of lies. Yes Connecticut has the flex fund but when you ask for money their is 50 excuses that they have no money. I try to get help and it was denied. Then a motion for contemp was files Oh crap now they have money for transportation.They took my childrens with no cause, the child lied and told them he did they did not want to belive them. Then they put my son in a place call The Boys & Village In Hartford CT where the staff pick up my son slam him against the door cutting his arm and causing a scar that he still has for life and to remind him of CPS. My other son has scars in his face from finger nails from a staff from a Safe Home In enfield CT. They have abuse my children’s for 2 years they have bounce them from here to there. They have set me up for faillure and they have lied, mislead the court with false information, they even said in my OTC that when they took my son he had a scar from me. My child had nothing because they had nada. Not even a Bruise. Today I got the best news ever after speaking with a civil rights attorney. The state of CT is under fedral investigation and I will make sure that they go under it again for discrimination, for hate crime to latinos in the court system. They tell latino parents to sign here so we can treat your kids the have mental problems, they don’t tell them they are signing a OTC Agreement” Hey Dummies YOU ARE GIVING YOUR KIDS UP” that part they don’t say or tell. The public defenders are a bunch of sell out. They allow all my kids to get hurt and they don’t care. But I had made up my mind and we are hiring a legal malpractice lawyer. The State Of CT DCF or CPS is very corrupted and malicoiuse. They are Evil, trust me I know…. They will tell you to get to your visit and the cancel don’t even tell you. My boys are traumatized and scar for life. Who can help me? Friends ? What Friends? My child was strip by cps, pick up and interrogated by 6 hours with out my consent, they told me if I did not let them in they will call police, She came in after I told her you are not welcome to my home and she still walk in my home, which I own at the time. She made racial comments about latinos and black. She even said” I grew up around latinos and black and it cannot get any more getto then that” She stated it’s ok for a parent to do Cocaine and still live a good life” Well I gues that is her life. She Told my son if you say your mom beat you and abuse you I will make sure you get a New X-box which my son never got. Now they file TPR and we got Arrested posted 75,000 bails with my childrens having no bruise, no marks and they both are saying DCF is liying about what they said. Who do you belive? My childrens need help and no one seem to care.

The State of CT has a lot of crooket people and they all have funds for evrything except where they need to use it wiselly. They are abusing there power and they abuse the parents as they pleace and god knows there are a couple of social workers that smoke ________ in the state of CT. I have been talking to parents that sign OTC agreements and they still are waiting for a trail to happend. Then they file TPR they loose their kids and the poor latinos don’t even know why the lost there kids? Talk about crooks, How much is you child worth? The State of CT request 150,000 per child but then it took then a year and 5 month to take my child to a dentist. They had to do two root canals because DCF neglected my child medically and because of them they had to do the root canals. Child even had puss cuming out on the side of his gums. My child yes he went thru hell and back with pain and no one care. In the State of CT social workers are a bunch of crooks that lied, cheat the judges and the parents and they run most of the court system. That is why I requested that J.A.I.L. do and investigation. HEY AFRA CT NEEDS YOU BADLY. WE NEED SOMEONE TO STAND UP AND FIGHT. BUT THE LAST GUY THAT DID THAT IS IN JAIL DOING 2 YEARS INNOCENTLY THEY WILL SET YOU UP EVEN WITH THE IRS IF THEY HAVE TO.
