Had no idea such a site existed… wish I discovered it in February, however, it is not to late..I am going to need lots of help in making an appeal to New York State for being falsley accused of child abuse and neglect by CPS. All charges were thrown out in court on June 22, 2007, however CPS wokers had filed their findings prior to the hearing! Most interesting fact for me…I was 1168 miles away when my son age 17 states he had no food shelter and clothing… but he was home, inthe house and listening to music when they came to look , he was also with his father in the home. he made th same charges against him. The kid admited he lied later and made it all up to get out of moving due to his havng a girlfriend now. He figured he would getto go to foster care and tht would be that. Now, we are without jobs (we are professionls ..school system) our bills going unpaid and in risk of loosing it all, our lives basically destroyed by CPS. Any ideas where to begin?

Since home, I have been compiling a book on this 17 year saga we have had with our son, who is mentally ill and was hospitalized for about 5 years (age 10-15). I just can’t beleive this is so huge with CPS. Can someone get back to me.

Hi. I am here because I am a CASA (court appointed special advocate) and am NOT affiliated with CPS. NO CASA is affiliated with CPS. I am here to become more informed as to what CPS and foster placement does to families so I can advocate for children and families to be happy, safe, and together.

My story actually starts in February, but my children didn’t become victims of CPS until June. My husband pled guilty to one count of sexual assualt on a minor on June 14, 2007. A no contact order between him and my daughter has been in place since February 17, 2007, and we have both upheld that order. My daughter was questioned alone by a Victim’s Assistance advocate on June 20th and that afternoon CPS had an order from the court to pick up my daughter for violation of the no contact order. No one will tell me why except that my daughter apparently said that I violated the no contact order in ways which never happened. I have had an interview with the CPS official that took my daughter and a police officer in which they stated that they would not give my daughter back until I did everything they asked me to do. After volunteering to do everything they asked me to do, they went on to say that they would keep my daughter and file to take my son because they believe that I have chosen my husband over my children. I have never said that and I don’t choose my husband over my children. My daugther has been placed in the home with her biological father who has no legal rights to her as he signed them over to my husband and he adopted both of my children. I feel like I am being targeted because of my religious beliefs rather than because of something that I actually did. Can anyone suggest ways that I can protect my beliefs as well as fight to get my daughter returned and keep my son?

I was a CASA as well for numerous years in the very same county I had my own problem these past few months.

I also worked under (private contracor) for DSS programs, was paid to keep an open bed for their most trying cases (I am a behavior specialist since 1981) and I was doing parent education seminars.

I can tell you this because I was on the inside and the CPS workers lie, lie, lie, they love the rush of pulling kids from the home, they are disgraceful, inhuman and most go into the field to search for themselves with their own family issues. I have seen it all. From workers having relations with clients, to actually having phone sex with long distance relationships and using the video cameras for their own sexual use. If I did not work on th other side, I would have a tough time beleiving it all. Who would beleive such? But…. they fabricate and really poision the kids against their own family members. I was always told it is a money thing…. who will take a child for the least amount of money. to hospital a child in crisis is huge money! But, to place him/her in your foster home is dirt cheap, then you suffer the problems.

The stories I know…. my god!
CASA is a fantastic program,,,,,,,, but……………you will be fighting a loosing battle when you bit heads with the workers who are all in it together, you are an outsider. Hopefully you are in a better lace than where we live. Small town where it is who you know and who you do… that is the truth!

hey im from tuscola county and my son was wrongfuly taken by cps 3 years ago im still fighting day in day out dont give up hope my kids are worth fighting for are yours?>

Read my blogs on 360 at above link. Help is needed here. Termination date is set for July 10 and set for grandson to stay in same foster home where he has had 2 broken bones, dog-bite, and we still do not know how he wound up with stitches in his head. Now of course, my little happy comic is an angry, sad little boy begging to come home and get out of foster care. HELP US in Shiawassee county, MI. PS has lied lied lied to other agencies (these agencies caught them at it) but how do you fight a system without money? Court-appointed attorneys could care less. Please someone help us get my grandson home with family… daughter has complied. PLEASE HELP

on may 10th of this year my daughter called me frantic and said my grandson was taking a nap and she heard a loud noise coming from his bedroom. she then said that he hurt his face and asked me what to do and i said keep an eye on him if he starts getting sick to call 911. then all of a sudden she said i have to go call 911 he is getting sick. the next phone call i received was from my daughter at the hospital saying that the people and police think she did this. oh my god this is my worst nightmare. my grandson was taken away and we havent been able to see him to this day. the social worker came out of the shelter hearing and i said to her that my daughter did not do this and she said well sorry but i think she did. (since when are cps workers the judge and jury?) she already had my daughter pegged as guilty before there was even an investagation. and now they are telling us that this can go on for years. someone help us. this is not happening i keep telling myself. but it is i miss him so much.

how the heck do you fight the state of washington? and how can cps workers get away with this. it is ripping up this family. Please someone tell me how to fight these people.

3 of my kids were stolen by Nazi CPS Goons because of what I do..Look at my website.this is the 3rd time my kids were stolen and I have had to fight the courts to get them back and I won each time..
this is a pattern of stalking my family by CPS I live in Kansas City MO and am fed up with CPS..this time I will track down my kids and steal them back.. I dont care anymore Iam an army vet and will go postal on anyone who trys to stop me from getting my kids back

My story:

Before my wife and I were married she had been investigated numerous times by CPS for “failure to thirve”. We were married after the birth of our first child together and we currently have 3 children (step-daughter and my two sons). In October 2006 during a heated argument I pulled my wife’s hair. There were several factors involved (no excuse) and since I did not want to continue down the road I was heading I sought help through my works employee assistance program. Mistakely believing that what I said would be in confidence, I was open, honest, and forthcoming in my concerns. The counselor, being a “mandated reporter” then informed CPS who showed up at my house that night. My response to the counselor was “I come to you for help with stress, and you add to it ?!?! what a concept”. Needless to say upon CPS’ arrival I was nither cordial nor kind. Now that I have been placed under thier microscope every eyeblink and twitch gets reported. For example: In November I too k my son deer hunting (he is 6) It was particularly warm in NY and the temp was over 75 degrees, unusual for this area at that time of year. My son had been begging to go with me, but since it was usually extremely cold I would not take him. This year however, I saw no reason not to. He wore my blaze orange hunting vest, which on him was more like a dress, and I held it in place with a belt so it would not fall off. We bonded, he learned about deer tracks, he even knew (without me telling him) which way the deer who made the tracks went. It was a father/son moment I had dreamed of. Part of the deal made with my son was if he behaved I would let him shoot my gun, a 20 guage shotgun. Well he was better than I had ever hoped (he even chastised ME for being noisy!!). I can still see hime with Tootsie rools in the shell holders of the vest he wore. It was the kind of day you wish you could bottle and save. Near dusk, I could tell he was getting tired so I decided it was time (unfortunately) to go. Since he was 6 he could not hold the firearm, so I held it and he pulled the trigger. He wanted to keep the empty casing which was placed in the vest along side the tootsie rolls. He then wanted to see the hole the round had made. Well that was not an option, the tree I was aiming at was downhill and approximately 30 years away, SO I picked another tree gave him a hole to look at, and explained this is why you can never touch a gun without me, it will hurt you just like this tree. My son kept both spent rounds, and bragged for days afterwards. Little did I know the following school day he took the rounds to school for show and tell (he was in kindergarten). CPS showed up AGAIN with a new report claiming unsafe enviornment because my son had access to weapons. Ladies and gentlemen, My children have access to the knives in the kitchen drawer easier than they can get to my firearms ?!?! on May 4th this year CPS removed my children from the home after yet another “report” of abuse (supposedly they have pictures of a bruise the size of a half dollar on my 11 year old step daughters cheek and screatheces/bruises on my son which I have been accused of causing). Apparently this was the last straw and the kids were stolen. At court I was ordered out of the home, a No contact order was placed against me, and I only get to see the children twice a week for 1 hour of supervised visits. No birthday parties, no holidays, no trips to the amusement parks we go to each year. I say I get to see them, funny thing is for over half the visits they have been cancelled or the kids show up late because CPS did not arrange transportation. My wife is pregnant with what will be the 4th child in the household. Get this at the prenatal visit the social worker tried to get her to sign a form allowing them to notify CPS when the child is born!!! I can only imagine what will be next… CPS in the delivery room? Ladies and Gentlemen, the time for talking is over, we have more than enough evidence to support reform Let’s force the hand we hold. The next president will be elected soon… do we know where they candidates stand on this issue? the war in IRAQ is nothing compared to the battles we fight every day in our own homes against these terrorists. Let’s push for change now before we have to wait another 4 years. How many more families must find this website a bit too late? CPS violates the 4th and 5th amendments DAILY. Criminals are afforded more rights than parents are under this microscope and yet you never hear about it. A police office cannot enter your home without a warrant, why should we allow CPS to do it? They are not required to inform us of our rights, leaving them the ability to intimidate, threaten and coerce you into allowing them to violate those rights. MIRANDA FOR CPS. Since we end up in court, there should be a law requiring them to inform us of these rights.

I just said today that it is time for the tears to DRY UP and the FIGHT TO START!

it seems we cant get News Media on any of this .
I am here becasue my son Sean and Robbie were taken ,.
Robbie was in NOV 2006 havent seen him sense.
Sean was in Jan 2007 they hid him for 2 months now I see him weekly.
He has been abused in the care of FOSTER HOMES .

This is an Epedimic sweeping right under everyones noses..
I know this much. I never though one thing about CPS till they stole my children.

They dont have a COURT ORDER to date to taken SEAN.
ANd the charge agsint me on Robbie is ” emotinal abuse ” then they take him and keep him from his mother??

The Foster Mother told me on the phone Monday, after I havent talked to Robbie for 7 months that she herself has NEVER seen anything so cruel..

CPS REFORM should be a household name.

guys my situation has been going on for almost 3 yrs cps took my kids from me after many false accusations and alligations were made against me and the sad thing is i never did anything wrong the courts gave my ex hubby visitation with the kids on christmas of 05 and when he molest my daughter when i was in the rest room they put the blame on me he didnt get charged for anything and i have been fighting a hard battle but wont give up cps came into my home with out a warrent and for no reason i was at the e r for somthing that could have killed me and my niece was watching the kids for me they even went as far as terminating my rights and never gave my mother a chance to get the kids so they denied grand parental rights so plz help me win this fight and we can help one another to get cps closed down for good signed amber

Amber, I’ve been doing this almost twenty years and have seen a lot of organizations come and go. But a few years ago Leonard Henderson in Oregon started one called AFRA that’s doing pretty good. Before starting something new, why not consider starting a local or state-wide chapter of AFRA? AFRA is the American Family Rights Association - see their website at http://www.familyrights.us . . . the organization has been doing a lot of good in contacting legislators in Washington DC about changing the laws, and that’s what needs to be done to bring about permanent change in this system.

Hi. Here is my story in short.
I had a breakdown after 2 years of living hell. I was in the hospital getting help for depression and Adjustment disorder. CPS took my kids while I was in the hospital and then the court order that my kids go with their biological fathers. Both use drugs and drink. I do neither. My kids were the reason I went to get help. I was going through a nasty divorce in which my ex husband left me when I was pregnant with our youngest on Xmas Eve for another woman. The other woman openly expressed she did not like my girls because her words ” Looking at them is like looking at their mother. They act just like their mother and I could care less for them.” My children have come to me for supervised visitation with bruses all over them. When I ask what happend they tell me Karen hit me because I would not go to bed. I have reported it but I have a case worker who worked on the org. case that was NEVER investigated and when I have called and taken police reports she files a report against me. If you sit down and read her reports they contradict what is said in the sentence before. But no one reads the reports just that they were founded. Family court in the county is no better. I have appieled (spelling) to the state and just had a trial. We are now waiting for the judgment. If it is not corrected then I am willing to take it to the next level. My son is with his father who was abusive towards me and when I left him he locked himself in his truck with a loaded shot gun! This is where my son is safe? He also leaves my son to fend for himself while he is downstairs getting high with his friends. My son is 8. But this is where CPS and family court says my son is safe. My kids have always been number 1 to me. I have had a rough road. Being a single mom of three. I worked to support my family. I never used the system. I will not stop fighting for my kids. I was depressed before not any more now I am pissed off! When this first happend to me I thought I was the only one. I came across this website and am learning more and more everyday that I am not alone. I want to thank you Linda for setting up this site. I am sure that I will be getting alot of use out of it. And for everyone else I will keep you all in my prayers!

I have posted here before about my web page and my brother who is serving a 35 year prison sentence because his two daughter had a bike wreck that CPS turned into rape. I have now upload all the interviews between the Chidlrens Adovcacy Center and my brother’s daughters. I have also up loaded the Questioning from the police . Please read just how it can happen to you. I want feed back if people see the same thing I do and most of all I see some people on here that say they once use to be a CASA worker or a Social Worker. Please tell me how it got to this after reading the interviews? I would love any support I can get.

I live in Onatrio, Canada. I’ll keep my situation brief for now:

After my first visit with my children after our separation, my ex-wife and her mother injured my daughter in the genital area and took her to two different doctors, attempting to allege that I had sexually assaulted her. My daughter defended me and denied the allegation. Therefore, neither doctor reported me to the Children’s Aid Society (CAS).

During the second visit with me, two of my children informed me of what their mother and gradnmother did. I went to CAS to report it. CAS “cleared my name” and closed the file. For three years I fought for them to properly investigate what happened to my daughter. CAS refused, repeatedly telling me that they hadn’t contacted either doctor.

I finally got court ordered access to the CAS files three years after the incident and it was very clear from their own files that the one doctor had in fact been contacted and he provided irrefutable proof of what my daughter suffered as early as six days after I reported it.

As I was in the process of retrieving the files from CAS, they filed a Protection Application against me, not alleging any abuse or neglect except that the court process was traumatizing my children. Essentially, it would appear that CAS did so solely to prevent me from making public their legal and moral crimes.

Spokane (AP) “Ex-foster mother reaches plea deal in death of boy”. That was the headline in the Sunday July 15, 2007 Columbian news paper in Vancouver Washington.

Our family’s case is filed in Thurston County Superior court in Olympia WA.The case number is 07-2-00901-6. An article should be in the Olympian news paper soon. The record is cirrently open to the public. However, the state CPS has filed a motion to “seal” the entire record so to “protect” our family. I let our Olympia attorney know that the only persons DSHS-CPS is trying to protect ….is themselves. Anyone wanting more information can contact the Thurston County Superior court clerk. I will contact fight cps website as soon as the story breaks.

I now have been fighting the county of stearns in st cloud mn. I am native american and so are my children two girls ages 10 and 15 now. I have been through this before with the same county over 12 years ago.
I was drinking at the time and was going through a series of relationships with different men. When my kids a boy and a girl were taken from me, they (ss) , told me that if I stayed sober for a year that they would give me my children back. I went thru treatment with a councelor who told me that I’d never stay sober because I’m native. She also said I was a hopeless case and was wasting her the county and my time being there Even tho she said that to me I finished my treatment and the children were sent back home to me.
When I had gotten a job and was finally off welfare, someone called ss on me and told them that I was back to drinking. They came and took my children from me again. Even tho I told them to ua me they didn’t they said that because they had a call saying I was. They said they didn’t have to believe me. Any way I fought for 7 years to get them home. When they finally threatened me with tpr I gave my children to different homes. My son went and lived with his dad and I havent seen him since. My daughter went and lived with my mom and dad.
Now I am again fighting for my children. I was in ada oklahoma with my fiancee’. When my nieghbor called the cops and said that I’d abandoned my girls. When the cops got to the house were the call was made from the woman who made the call said I had three kids ages 9,6,&4. she also stated that she didn’t know the address to were I lived but she could point out the house to them. My niece who is 16 was at the house and was going to stay the weekend with the girls was there. The cops entered my house and then called ss. They condemed the house because of the way the kids had left it( I have pictures of the house before and after we cleaned) They the cops informed me that they were going to place the girls with someone that I didn’t know but that my oldest daughter knew thier daughter. I explianed to the cops on the phone that I had my nieghbor willing to take the girls. They said no. so my girls were put with people I didn’t know. I never had a chance from then on> they put my girls in temparory foster care. from then on it has been a constant fight.
They after the first visit ,cause we arrived late for the visit, have deined Tony visits with the girls. my oldest is trying to commit suicide and is cutting herself. They have conviced her that Tony is the problem and now she doesn’t want to come unless he is gone. She has only lived with me for a year and a half brfore all this started. My yougest is devestated cause shr only know Tony as her father. I now am waiting for the judgement to come back as to wether or not I get them to come home.
If I knew more about this website and others like it. I most likely have my girls home with me.
Now I just pray that they come home and would like more info on how to help other single mothers and fathers and families especially people of different races. This seems to be a real bad place for any one who is not white.

My husband and I found this website about 2 years ago, when CPS took his children without cause. His ex wife, although they had been split up for one year and had had no physical contact, filed domestic violence charges and child abuse charges against my husband. CPS took my husband’s rights away without cause and without investigating. They took the word of his ex wife and ran with it. We are now 3 years into this and he has been completely alienated from his oldest son. This same child before he was taken wanted to live with his dad and wanted nothing to do with his mom. They never substantiated any charges and even lied about having a letter from a therapist saying the child should not see his father. In one order from the court, DSS was given permission by the court to modify the order per their findings and still did nothing to investigate or resolve the issue. My husband is being emotionally destroyed becasue of this. We did fight them and we did get custody of three of the four children, with his ex wife being found unfit. We still however are experienceing problems from CPS/DSS. I can’t believe state agencies are allowed to operate like this. I never would have believed it until it happened to us. We are thinking about filing suit against DSS/CPS, but do not know where to start and do not have the money to hire another attorney.

Hi I am glad to see there may be some help out there. i have adopted 2 very speical needs children. my daughter was used for drug money and the story gets much worst, she was oregons most abused child that has made it.my son has adhd and fas so both of my kids are very small.dha came and took them into foster care, my daughters legs have been BROKEN TWICE while in foster care, thay are giving her medication that has been approved by the fda.thay now want put some machine in her back so she doesnt have siezures.my daughter does not walk or talk due to her abuse as a baby.i,m in a court battle right now, the doctors at DORENBECKER HOSPITAL would like nothing more but hang me as i question their every move with my daughter.I,M GOINGTO START A GROUP HERE IN GRANTS PASS, AS WE NEED TO STOP THESES PEOPLE, IVE HAD MY KIDS FOR TEN YEARS AND WAS A FOSTER PARENT UNTIL I WAS BLACK BALLED AS TO THE FACT I WOULD QUESTION WHAT THAY WERE DOING WITH THE KIDS. THIS IS THE WORST THING IVE EVER GONE THREW ,AND WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FRAN SWANN

Can somebody please tell me what it means to file a Declaration of Facts?

My backstory is this:

A little over a year ago my then-fiance had my son 3.5 months prematurely. She and I are no longer together but to her credit she is not a drug user/smoker and never even drank.

I guess when you have a baby that prematurely you are immediately under suspicion for that kind of activity…? Anyways, the reason for the prematurity was “placenta previa”.

My son was born at two pounds and was kept in the NICU until the middle of August 2006.

During her stay in the Maternity Ward my fiance was asked about her medical background. She (AND THIS WAS HER MISTAKE) admitted to the nurse that she’d had depression as a 13-14 year old. The nurse asked if she was currently on medication and she said no. And that’s when it snowballed.

CYS contacted us and “Requested” that my fiance get on medication before the baby was discharged. My fiance had no withstanding mental disorder so she didn’t feel it was necessary. And the way it was worded to us was that it was “requested”. Looking back I think she should have bitten the bullet and convinced some shrink to diagnose her with some BS disorder and dole her out some meds. It could have avoided what has happened.

What happened is that the baby on the day of discharge was taken directly from the NICU into State custody.

We were given an hour’s visit at the foster mom’s residence every week.

Long story short, after a year of playing games with these people, my fiance decided last month to willingly surrender her rights. The case worker who is a lying sociopathic bitch, had told her in confidence that she’d never get her son and it would be better for him if she just gave up.

My fiance and I at this point were at odds anyways and we figured it would make sense….since most of CYS’s mirth was directed towards my fiance anyways (my fiance by the way, is young, very attractive, and Jewish, and I think this had a lot to do with her persecution by these hags).

Whereas the visits up to that point had just been relocated to our home, unsupervised, after my fiance expressed her desire to terminate, the visits became once every two weeks, 35 miles away, at the CYS headquarters. These people are suddenly telling me they can terminate MY rights in a month’s time if they want to!!! Don’t they need a judge’s say-so in all of this?? I feel like I’m being tricked here…they also told me to not attend my son’s medical appointments and to “never mind” about a mental evaluation….Is this so during the next court hearing they can say I didn’t “co-operate”? Can I get them into trouble for that?
Also, somebody I know said they saw the foster mom leave my son (who is 13 months) in her van by himself while she went up the street for yard sales. I mentioned this to the case worker and she brushed it off. How can I follow up on this? How do I do affidavits?

I think I’d better hire a lawyer that isn’t paid by the state, but I make $1600 a month ($400 of which the State is taking for child support) so I’m not sure if hiring a “real” lawyer is feasible?

I’ve also tried writing to the ACLU for help, but I was “politely declined”.

I don’t know what to do next, but it feels like I don’t have much time left.

Can these people really just terminate my rights???!!

I live in McKean County where CYS rules with a Fascist Fist. It feels pretty hopeless.

You can find samples of an affidavit (also called a declaration) in the Legal Document Library here on Fight CPS. Also you’ll find a sample declaration called “Objections and Corrections to the Report of the Caseworker” with which you can object to every incorrect aspect of a report they may have filed about you in court.

R. Joseph, yes, they can terminate your rights. You are heading in the right direction to get the affidavit. You’re absolutely correct that if you don’t get the psych evaluation and every other aspect of your “service plan” done before you go back to court, they will use that against you.

My suggestion is to log onto the message forum here to get more ideas and help from others who are going through this type of thing.

Good luck - my heart goes out to you and so many others here who are being victimized by CPS agents. Your story is heartrending. CPS taking a baby because the mother was depressed when she was 13 or 14? This is insanity. I hope you get your child back.

Thnaks, I’m looking over this site right now…it is informative to the point of being overwhleming.

Yeah, essentially it started out because my then-fiance wouldn’t take medication for a probelm she’d had almost ten years earlier —!!!! By the way: what teenager isn’t depressed? She got a copy of her mental health records and it was actually a Post-Traumatic Adjustment Disorder or something of that nature…as a reaction to her parents’ divorce at the time.
Also, the baby being so premature and having recurring bouts of pneumonia gave them more fuel.
They actually overstated his illnesses in a December letter to the judge (do those have an official name btw?). They lied and said he had a spot on his lung and that he more than likely has cerebral palsy. The palsy was ruled out, and he didn’t have a spot on his lung either. He does have pneumonia every two months or so.
During his most recent stay in the hospital (w/pneumonia) I visited every single day for an hour each night before work, and when I could, in the morning. My briefest visit was for 15 minutes and I left early because the baby was asleep. And the foster mother was there also. And after hearing about the leaving-my-son-in-the-van incident, I’m not too fond of her. Etc.
Anyways!
In out last court hearing, the case worker told the judge I’d visited my son only a few times, and for 15 minutes at a time!!! Only ONE visit was 15 minutes in duration — how can these people lie so blatantly?? Surely the nurse’s notes would tell a different story?
Isn’t that an example of perjury?
But this is just one in a long line of misrepresentations this woman has told.

By the way, a few months ago, I was working for the Beacon Light Behavorial Home — a home for mentally ill/”difficult” children — a job I quit after two months because it was conflicting with my visitation schedule.
(Also my current job pays more!)
I kept this job a secret from CYS because I knew they’d try to sabotage it for me if they found out (they showed up at my then-fiance’s workplace once which an officer told us that not even a police officer can do, unless they have a warrant for your arrest)….irony is that Beacon Light does a background check on its prospective employees, to make sure they don’t have a history or abuse or criminal snafus. I passed, of course, and found it wholly ironic that I could be entrusted to care for handicapped wards of the state but NOT my own child!
Is this something that I can bring up in the future, in front of the judge?

There’s a form in the legal document library here for recording details of every visitation. You can document them in that way then submit your documents at court. Please try the message board for more help with this.

Remember that if you don’t have legal documents to submit at court then the CYS workers have the “preponderance of the evidence” and they win.

On the evening of January 30th 2006, while playing in my arms my son fell back against me, and I heard an audible pop. He was crying and in pain, so we took him to Wise County Regional Hospital Emergency Room. The X-Ray showed a spiral fracture of the right femur. He was transferred to Cooks Children’s Hospital on January 31st by ambulance.
On February 1st 2006 Texas Children’s Protective Services removed my son Incubus Rollins from my care under the mistaken impression that I was physically abusing my child.
On June 5th 2006 while in the custody of Texas Children’s Protective Services my son was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease. The disease is Osteogenesis Imperfecta ( aka brittle bone disease, OI, chalk bone. ) My son was returned to my loving arms on June 28th 2006.
On Aug 25th 2006 my son was yet again taken into the custody of Texas Children’s Protective Services. This Time the explanation was because of a bruise he had on his right leg. I was yet again being accused of physically abusing my son. He has been in Texas Children’s Protective Custody since then. While in their custody all of this time he has had six additional fractures. The disease that he has makes his bones extremely breakable and they break with very little trauma. He also bruises very easy, for no apparent reason.

I have contacted the Rutherford Institute and they are really good so some you the other people on here might try them for help.

Hello,
I have now realize I am not alone. I wish I readthis site before January 6, 2007.I would have not let CPS in my home. My oldest daughter is 11 years old has autism, ADHD,OCD, and ODD and has an IQ 55. She is also known to lie too. Here in Wisconsin you can get in home therapy for Autism. To be a therapist to work with children with autism you only have to be 18 years old. Well, I guess her therapist took it upon herself to talk to my daughter about sex. She said I can’t help you until you tell me what happened. Then she said my husband had intercourse with her for the past four years. Her therapist never told me this and reported to CPS. They arrested my husband and took my kids away because I would not say my husband is guilty and failure to protect my kids. There is no physical evidence of this abuse and her hymen is intact but CPS said they won’t give my kids back until I say that my husband is guilty. In my juvenile court trial judge found my husband guilty of sexual and physical abuse. There is no evidence of either and me failure to protect my kids. I want to appeal but have no money to and they don’t give public defenders for cases in Juvenile court. My kids would cry and ask when they are coming home. I found experts to testify for my husband’s criminal trial but don’t have any money to pay them. He told me not to worry about it and he would get the money and use the money for bills but now he can’t get the money and now I blame myself if he is found guilty. He was the bread winner and now our money has run out.

Hi all just found this web, as I was just called by cps on Fri. Due to a neighbor that is very mean and didnot like that the animal control was called after his 3 dogs where on my land again and we have horses and 3 small kids and the dogs are mean. Can someone let me know what a #2 is in the cps .?

I don’t understand why everyone complaints. I did that and was diagnose as multypersonality disorder. Then when I very good PHD did a diagnose he said. She is Perfectlly fine. Oh Well, The thing is that we have to be UNITED, TOGETHER to be able to FIGHT. LETS GO TO THE WHITE HOUSE AND ASK FOR ANSWERS. A group a people more then 250 with an affidavit in hand and your story to tell will call more attention. We can all strike with D.P.R.A. we all get hotel discount and we can go and fight together. We need signatures and lots of stories. Together We Stand Divided we fail. Don’t you get it. No One wants to help us with money for Attorney Fees, Attorneys don’t want to put up a good fight where they are private of Public Pretenders, The one Attorney that does gets slam in court. We need to get together and strike. Let get together and pick the date of June 20, 2008 to go to the white house and present our nations complaints. If you have an Attorney bring him too.
