Child Protective Services laws and agencies are abusive to families and children. This site provides support and information to parents falsely accused of child abuse by Child Protective Services.

FightCPS is intended to help people learn enough about the law to be able to successfully defend themselves and their families against false accusations using legal documents and strategies that put parents in a stronger position when they go back to court.

Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

Fighting Child Protective Services False Accusations

Jack and Casey He were going through hard times years ago when they gave their baby girl, Anna Mae, to temporary foster parents. When they tried to get their child back, Jerry and Louise Baker refused to let go. Now Anna Mae is eight years old and the foster parents are still filing court papers, trying to keep her. It is people like this who give foster parenting a bad name. This case has been ongoing for six years, since the Bakers filed a motion in 2001 to try to terminate the He’s parental rights.
In January the Tennessee Supreme Court ruled that Anna Mae should be returned to her parents “in an expeditious manner” but Jack and Casey He are still waiting because the Bakers, with the help of their attorney, Larry Parish, made a federal court filing on June 12 asking that the Tennessee Supreme Court ruling be overturned. If the federal court doesn’t intervene, Anna Mae should be reunited with her family late in July.
Tennessee Attorney General Robert Cooper Jr. filed papers on June 18 criticizing the Bakers and Larry Parish for “a number of extreme and horrifying hypotheticals” included in the federal filing. For example, Parish wrote that the Tennessee Supreme Court was “amputating [the child's] legs” and that Jack and Casey He were “strangers” who “have become monsters in her world”.
The only reason Jack and Casey He weren’t visiting Anna Mae is that Jerry and Louise Baker got a lower court judge to ban them from seeing her back in 2001. Is this is what the Bakers twist around to call ‘abandonment’? And if Anna Mae He now thinks of her rightful parents as “monsters” that most likely has been instilled in her by her foster parents. I believe this is called brainwashing.
The Bakers believe Anna’s rights are being violated. What about her right to live with the parents God gave her? What about her right not to have her mind poisoned by foster parents who hate her parents enough to fight with Jack and Casey He in court about custody of their daughter?

12/23/11 - I noticed a political ad running on this site, and want to say I don't support any presidential candidates other than Ron Paul. I believe he's honest, ethical, and the candidate most likely to free us from CPS injustice. - Linda

I feel the Supreme Court did RIGHT. just sad that the lil girl has to go through such a dramatic change and all the parents involved need to work together being she was gone for so long.
but the bottom line is
that child is a GOD GIVEN CHILD to the MOTHER and FATHER.
shame goes out to the lower courts putting this child through such an ordeal all these years!

MY 14YR OLD DAUGHTER AND I ARE GOING THRU THE SAME THING. MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW HAS MADE FALSE ALEGATIONS FOR YEARS.I’AM TERMINALY ILL AND ALL WE WANT IS TO BE TOGETHER THEY TOOK MY DAUGHTER XMAS EVE IVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR HER SINCE THEY ARE USING MY HEALTH AGAINST ME ALONG WITH FALSE ALEGATIONS IAM DEVASTED AND WOULD LOVE FEEDBACK

wow of all the stories to be told of the social workers abusing the power given them you tell a story that even makes them feel more powerfull see when this happens it sets a guide for them that we better just take the kids and mke the parents fight us for the kids back instead of leaving some kids alone see the common sense is out the window it has become we are right even when wrong so the funding and paychecks will be there at the exspence of some fine fmilies that love there kids

Tennessee has a very corrupt Children’s Services program in the state. This is especially true in West Tennessee where the target mainly fathers with little to no evidence.

Remember that Mr He ( from the People’s Republic of China) was initially targeted b/c of a supposed impropriety with a student at the school where he was a teaching A college.
And yes, China is different than TN. However, this child should NEVER HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM HER MOM.
Shame on you, TN.
Learn Mandarin ( It may be America’s future 2nd language). Not Spanish.

Im fighting with Tn right now Dixon Tn from what i hear and gather is completely backwoods and racist and I cannot believe the lack of disrespect and non professionalism that caseworkers as GAL workers have. Exspecially when even in trial for fighting for your children. They talk down to you say one thing than present another. And these people are making life altering decisions over children that are not theirs OMG. Image what their kids are doing are they safe. Really
