Child Protective Services laws and agencies are abusive to families and children. This site provides support and information to parents falsely accused of child abuse by Child Protective Services.
FightCPS does not advocate or condone violence or illiegal activities of any kind.
FightCPS is intended to help people learn enough about the law to be able to successfully defend themselves and their families against false accusations using legal documents and strategies that put parents in a stronger position when they go back to court.
For more information, see the FAQ.
Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.
Site mission: To provide information and support for families attacked by Child Protective Services and child welfare agents, especially those families facing false or trivial accusations of child abuse or neglect; and for researchers working to protect natural family rights.

Fighting Child Protective Services False Accusations

April 29, 2007
Foster children are endangered by being placed in incompetent out-of-home care by CPS social workers. Rather than helping parents resolve their issues while keeping families intact, CPS social workers rush to rip children out of the homes God gave them, placing them in state custody foster warehouses in order to get federal funding streams started. Consequently children’s lives are being endangered as many people hired as foster “parents” don’t care for them in foster homes as well as loving relatives could.
This week a former foster “parent” was convicted of “injury to a child” in the death of a three-year-old foster child in North Texas in 2005.
Sierra Odom was killed by injuries inflicted by Timothy Warner, 31, the foster “father” Texas CPS placed her and her brother with. Warner’s wife testified that even though she knew Sierra was dead, she dressed the child before Warner drove her to the hospital. Along the way he allegedly staged an automobile accident to make it look like Sierra’s death was not a homicide.
From the article by Nathaniel Jones in the Star-Telegram:
The child-care operation was “money in the till,” said prosecutor Rebecca McIntire. “If the business didn’t work, they had nothing.”
Apparently Warner’s entire income depended on warehousing of children for the department of “human resources”. He had foster children, plus did child care for parents who worked at night.
This is how child “protective” services takes care of kids!

I am the mother of two of the foster kids that was abused by Warner three weeks prior to Sierra’s death and the day before she was killed and my case worker allowed those people to keep my kids knowing that, every child in their care even their kids, was in danger of being abused, but the two times we did see marks on our son they was ubelievable, but still i’m not allowed to have my kids in my care, well I still was the one who lost rights to a new baby they took, long story short,my case really is proof that the cps is more than out of control, and i will not stop untill they give my baby back, she is the baby of seven i have them all except her and my baby that passed when she was 3months old from sids she would be 5 i have a 21,15,14,7,4 and we want our baby!

Faster determination if there’s abuse. If there’s abuse take immediate action. Abuser must be either jailed or court-ordered to get help over a long enough period of time before child/children can be returned. Now it seems that CPS/Court Sys thinks that a “little” passage of time automaticaly “cures” the abuser and this way subjects children to heinous treatment and torture without protection or concern for their welfare. The children are victimized by the abuser, CPS, and the Court. Is there any wonder why the prisons are filled to overflowering? Abuse alters the brain and makes mental cripples of these abused children. Big pharma is making millions, not to mention many others, that are cashing in on the misery of these poor children. How can a child be left for 4 + yrs where they’re being sodomized, raped, physically and mentally abused even though many, many neighors, etc have called and reported abuse, no charges filed against the abusers, and 8yrs later the abusers file for custody in court? The same abusers, without having been forced to get therapy or having been charged for their crimes against these children; have not paid any child support for the 8yrs, and are now allowed access to the children again. Is that Child Protection or Child Neglection? Who are the real criminals here/

For every DHS I think the family should tear up that social worker for destroying their families..I think that these DHS workers needs the crap knocked out of them.

I realize this was not that long ago. I just had my children taken from me and I live in the area of this incident, surprisingly I have heard nothing about it. I am even more afraid for my children because even though my mother was there to take my children, they were still placed in foster care. I reported myself to CPS and they have done nothing to help me other than over react and take my children. I have plenty of advocates, but I am even more terrified.

I am the Mother of Sierra Odom & still to this day I have yet to have justice for what Timothy did to my children. I still have yet to be reunited with my son as a custodial parent due to the lack of negligence on the States part & their unwillingness to admit that they were wrong. I may have not been perfect, however, if my children would have stayed with me they both would still be a live!

Heather, so sorry for the loss of your children! If you will send me a photo of Sierra I will post it here. Yes, you would have taken much better care of your children I am sure. I hope your son will someday, somehow be returned to you!
